@@AlisherZhantas Actually its his fake laugh, the uncontrollable laughter sounds more normal with pain and sadness in his face. He got 3 different laughthers in this movie. Fake/stress/real, he only laughs for real 1 time in the movie.
He is not laughing that time. Film makes it clear that he has a disorder that makes him laugh in stressful / odd / wrong situations.
Joaquin Phoenix is gonna kill it. Just wow. All i have are negative thoughts.
And its officially R rated so that means when Joker was on the stage......he finna murder. Bet he placed bombs around the whole building

Now imagine Joaquin winning an Oscar for this role.
That would mean:
- the Joker being the only comic book character to win an Oscar
- the Joker being the only comic book character to win an Oscar TWICE!!
That would be INSANE!
(equally insane as the titular character himself)
Especially since this would be for best actor in a leading role
Not sure if this would happen. People are heavily politicising this film and the side that hate it are the side that the Oscars typically lean towards.
Hope it wins everything though. Fantastic film. I laughed and I felt dirty for it.

There is a medical condition where a person will laugh uncontrollably. I think that is what's happening with the Joker. Can't wait to see this film!

Joaquin Phoenix deserves Two-Oscars for it. For his acting skills, adapting the character and for the most realistic comic book villain portrayal. Joker in real-world would totally be like that. Mark Hamil's voice can only do justice within the animated series/films. Heath Ledger was good but far away from the real-world but this one is PERFECTION. This version of Joker has the potential to be created within our society. I won't be surprised if there really are people close enough to Joker locked up in some prison or metal-hospital.
I like how when the first official full body photo of the joker came up and it showed he's wearing red suit everyone was like why is he not wearing a purple suit. Now in this trailer, the lighting in the last part of the trailer makes it so the color of his suit turns to purple. it's so awesome to see! can't wait to see this movie!

September is going to be the longest month of my life.
I truly believe Joaquin Phoenix's Joker is going to be the definitive Joker in cinema history , i think it will be better than Heath's although Heath's Joker was fantastic , i thought it was held back to an extent by the 12A rating the Dark Knight got , at with the R rating , it will allow Joaquin's Joker to go all out in terms of the disturbing psychological elements and violence of the Joker.

What I like the most about this is how it shows the build up/burst of craziness from such a sorrowful situation of Arthur Fleck in such a short amount of time. The music adds a lot more emotion to it. Such a perfectly edited trailer! Love it! ❤

This movie got a HARD R rating so i dont think we're gonna sympathize with Joker by the end of this thing. There are gonna be some un-redeemable scenes in this movie hands down! & i cant wait.
Mr.Midnight I think so too. IMO I think we’re initially made out to sympathize with him but as the story progresses lose that altogether yet leave the theater understanding why he does all his evil deeds.

It looks like they’re going the route of what heaths joker said in the dark knight when he told Batman that madness is like gravity, and all it took was a little push. One bad day, or in this case, a series of bad days lol this looks like pure gold. He probably won’t portray the same joker “madness” everyone recognizes and loves, but I think it’ll be a really good character piece into what it takes to make someone snap like that.
