    I have the USWE pack. Very pleased with it. Durable and comfortable. Storage is just right for an all day ride.

    Like the design of the Alpinestars Tactical. I sometimes carry 2 1.5L fuel bottles on my WR and those detachable rear pockets look perfect for those. I have a Klim Arsenal Vest which has a similar but non detachable setup. The option to scale is attractive. Thanks!

    Been using the same NacPack for years. Still holding up. The shovel compartment works great for carrying a tire pump.

      A folding saw too, though either side works well. I carried the 10" Corona saw for a couple of seasons then picked up the 14" Silky Big Boy, which is the biggest I can get away with.

    I got the USWE a few months ago. It's on the edge of not enough room and the small pockets are full of my tools and snacks. But It feels great to ride with.

      Yeah, USWE packs are great, but that smaller pocket situation can be a real bummer. Thanks for watching.

    USWE and Klim Nac pack for me. Both are great. I also use the Klim as carry on luggage.

    I run a Mindshift Rotation 180, real nice to be able to access a good portion of the bag without removing your pack. I do wish Think Tank would do something more moto specific but I think their bags are very applicable to the Enduro sport.

    I use a uswe for shorter rides and the alpinestars techdura tactical for longer rides. Both are great quality but I really like the balance the astars offers with the pockets in the front to offset weight while riding. It’s has a little more bounce than the uswe but not much even when loaded with a 2l bladder and all my riding tools and emergency necessities.

    I’ve had the Klim for 6 years, it’s a bit big but I used it when I Moto camped around Europe and Russia - fishing rod in place of the shovel handle. Im in the market for something like the USWE 8 litre, but it’s a bit pricy

    Got the nacho pack this year and can’t say anything bad about it, it rocks. The USWE was my other choice I just needed more storage. If I’m going to look at another pack I would definitely give the MSR one a try, I have a couple of MSR gear and their stuff is excellent, especially for the price.

    I’ve been using the Klim Nac Pac for a few months now and I’m happy with it. Plenty of storage and very little movement. I wish the front pockets were just a bit larger though. Can’t fit a cellphone or wallet into them.

      I keep a Garmin InReach mini in one front pocket and a 5000mah power bank in the other if I happen to be running my GoPro with a usb-c extension.
      Could probably rig up a neoprene phone pouch or something near the clip though.

    I have tried the Leatt, nice pack but, if there is any weight in the pack it pulls the chest plate up to your neck. The Alpinestars pack is just super cheap made and rides up in the front.I switch between the WLF pack and the MSR rover pack.

      Same. I used the Leatt for years and hated the way it would settle very low in the back with the front chest plate darn near in my throat.

  • @OtisFlint
    @OtisFlint 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Surprised you're still pushing the Nac Pack, that has been replaced by the Arsenal 15 for moto. Best pack really depends on where you're riding. If i can hike out to a road within a few hours i bring essentials. Water, zip ties, gorilla tape, multi tool, phone, keys, wallet. Small, light pack is all you need. If I'm going deep in the backcountry where it could potentially take days to hike out, i have an Arsenal 30 full to the brim. The essentials plus food, gas, saw, pistol, bear spray, tool kit, some spare parts, first aid kit w trauma stuff, satellite communicator, power pack, fire starting stuff and extra layers of clothing. Carrying that much weight sucks but those rides are marathons not sprints, and your survival can depend on what's on your back.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only difference between the new Pro is the knee cup got an update from the old one and the straps on the Pro have some additional padding for the back of the leg which mine already have. Aside from that, you wouldn't know they're a different brace. - Chase

    I'm not a big fan of the brand, but the Dainese Alligator has a feature that I haven't seen on any other option (not that I've tried all of them of course), and that is that the bladder pocket comes insulated which for hot climate is super useful. If anyone knows any model that has it aswell, I'm interested, let me know!
