No, it is not just you. I'm missing more shots this season and lost many gunfights hipfiring that I wouldn't actually lost in the past. I had to adjust my hipfiring sens and is a little bit better but still doesn't feel the same
Smgs r still as toxic as it used to be, how do u expect to hipfire an enemy at 20m!? Smgs r being abused by all, no skill just spray. Shotgun is soo unreliable in this map all because of smg spammers

It's true and there are secret nerfs that they did to balance br. I noticed one secret nerf on the ak47 bullet velocity. At first, I was wondering if it was just me who has potato aims but I realized it wasn't. As I aim for the enemy exactly at long range, bullets are most likely to miss if they are running. What I did is I go more advanced than what I usually do these past seasons.

What I noticed is AR hip-fire is improved (Specifically, AK-47 and M4, AK117 is stunning). SMG became hard to control while hip-fire (MX9 as well as the Fennec is no longer as accurate as used to be)

I never died while hip firing with fennec ever before but in this season i started dieing in every fight Because of this i changed my sensitivity settings multiple times... Then i realized that activion has nerfed or i don't know what they did so it's better to use hip fire as less as possible

I agree that hip fire is not the same. In general for both Fennic or MX9, it seams to cause less damage and bullet spread seams to fall off sooner, so the distance is gone. I often have to use my AK and ADS now, when last season I would have layered my opponent w a load out SMG and wild hip fire attachment. It may be that aim assist is lower or maybe it's all the same and our skills dropped due to playing mostly on a huge map and no Alcatrez. Most close range fights happen during the 1st half of the game when we have ground loot which is crap compared to my load out SMG and even when extremely lucky with good nods, it's not the gun I have gotten used to play w for so long and know it's recoil pattern and every Stat and when to use it or not etc I think it's something in-between as the true answer but not sure
