I think Kessler caused the beast to happen because the beast and the plague were caused by the ray sphere. If the ray sphere was never made then none of this would have happened. Kessler is the real villain here
We know that the Beast was created by John being absorbed into the ray sphere, but it's plausible that just because Kessler went back in time to quicken the ray sphere's development in order to better prepare Cole, it doesn't mean he created it originally. It probably was just a science experiment to begin with. However, Kessler did accelerate the Beast's arrival when he went back in time to accelerate the ray sphere's development, hence why it shows up in Empire suddenly.

Finished infamous couple daus ago for the first time. Started infamous 2 after that. Im about half way through. After infamous 2 i will play festival of blood and then i will play 1 and 2 again on good karma
Sucks that when you reach Infamous rank, Cole's electricity doesn't turn the sinister black-and-red color from the first game, just same boring orange Which is weird considering you know, red is supposed to represent evil karma

Infamous 2 is very reminiscent of Jak 2. Joseph Bertrand and Baron Praxis are very similar.
One thing I hate about Sony is that they make you stream this game at 720p. Even if you have fast internet the game will always lag or drop frames left and right. I wish Sony cam finally get onboard like Xbox game pass. Most of the games on game pass you can play in high quality 4K. I'm 2023 Sony makes you pay premium to play their classic games which most run like complete crap.

That annoys me a lot because the good ending doesn’t leave room for a sequel to the point where they have to ret con the ending and also wouldn’t it make the plague still exist since conduits also exist. But the evil ending is perfect for a sequel since it sets up a villain and a strong premise without having to ret con any details.
If you play the first game and have saved data you can share over your blast shards to your new save and you can start with more good karma or bad it depends on what you pick
Their's a lot of classic games on ps1, ps2, psp and ps3 that could of been imported onto ps4/ps5 because their's not very many games to play with because every video games that has ever been announced just get's delayed.
The Evil powers and Evil questline are kinda shit. I've played this game a lot and it always felt like a hassle switching from the Good Side for a playthrough to the Evil Side.
