The reason why there are people who have genuine talents and promising future here in the Philippines are often shunned in the industry is because the entertainment world has been monopolized by big stations since who knows when and prioritizes their own talents especially those who have huge names and talents who only joined competitions that they had organized.
There's not much room for outsiders unless you'll sign contracts with them or you're an international star who came to plug their own shows, concerts, and movies. Also, They're obsessed with love teams and trying to fit someone on the same mold.
it's honestly tiring to see the same faces of actors, artists, musicians and etc. leading shows, movies, dramas, releasing songs and stuff. not enough variety because they're using the same talents at all of them.
I wish talent agencies and stations will be a separate entity in the country in the future so that they can cater to many artists out there, not just to those who work in front of the crowd but also those working behind the scenes, so that talents like SB19 and all others will be given enough exposure and freedom to explore their craft. I just hope there will be stations like that. I think I'd like that kind of change.
