NL is cycling Nirvana. No where is this good or easy to ride a bike. Is it too easy?
Nice bird shots. There must be many wader types of birds in NL because it is so flat.

Ik heb meerdere tentjes. Dit is de Vaude Lizard en weegt ca. 1 kg. Soms pak ik deze als ik zeker weet dat het mooi weer is. Is wat kleiner dus minder comfortabel bij slecht weer.

Great video. I saw my first spoonbill a couple of weeks ago. They are not very common where I live on the west coast of Australia. Too dry. It is amazing to me that The Netherlands can be fairly densely populated but you seem to find the quiet tracks.

Thanks. Many parts in the Netherlands are certainly overcrowded but there are also many roads and paths where it is quiet.

How did your new bike work out? I built a similar bike but with the Surly LHT frame - last summer's covid project.

For so far I am very satisfied with the bike. The 29-inch wheels drive comfortably. When the bike is loaded, it rides very stable and tight. Soon I leave for a 2 week tour through the hills. I'm curious how that goes.
