I love the song. She it was my mother's favourite foreign song. I've 3 or 4 versions French and English, I can't sing it anymore as it hurts still knowing my mom is gone, and so is my father (2021).

There's lots of good content here, which makes you realize that being 60+ certainly doesn't mean you can't sing. It makes me wish they'd branch out and get a Voice Senior (as well as a Voice Kids) in the US. Thanks for the post!
I would just love to go to Holland, and hang out in Kareoke bars and clubs. Most of these folks probably hang out there from time to time. Hollan, for a small country certainly does seem to be into music in a big way. So much talent for a small country-don't you think?
It's crazy to see these older acts! They're all so seasoned. A few of these performers have worked with some huge names before along with doing studio work. The fellow in the 2nd clip, Tollak Ollestad is among the best harmonica players in the world and has worked with everyone from Kenny Loggins to Andrea Bocelli. I wish the U.S. had a Senior Voice edition. As they say, talent is equally distributed through time and space.
Being almost 74 singing was a big part if my life growing up- my whole family sang- and i was in my high schools choir and boys glee club- and we all sang un the church choir at one time or another- now my voice isnt what it use to be but i still try to sing- im a bass baritone - i always wanted to sing like my father- he was a bossa bass-that one full octave below the lowest note on a piano
