This is the sort of videos I love from you Chris. Along with the cost of living videos, you're so good at putting a video together that is jam packed with facts and so much information. These sorts of videos are SOOO beneficial to us who are planning to take the leap, but need some guidance. I know you have had a tough year and really questioned your nomadic lifestyle (I'm reading between the lines) but what you bring to us who watch your videos is a massive amount of knowledge and the ability to teach through videography. Thanks again.
I second that! Fantastic video Chris! You are really good at presenting valued information. Would love to see more of this. I'm heading to Bali in a couple of weeks and have been watching all your vids on the place. Great work mate :) Cheers Matt
Thanks for sharing Chris, this was awesome! This also sort of confirming my hunch that Co-living is becoming a hallmark and a very popular trend of the Digital Nomad and Vagabonding community.
This is great information for someone looking to work while on the road. Do you know how the internet speeds are? Im not sure if i missed it . That last one isnt bad for 427 a month!!
Thanks guys! For CoworkSurf: 79.38 Mbps / 20.89 Mbps I worked out of Dojo yesterday (coworking space) and got: 45.67 Mbps / 37.77 Mbps At Outpost coworking space last week, I was on guest wifi so I don't think it's indicative of member speeds but there I got: 5.88 Mbps / 7.31 Mbps Hope that helps!
Hmm, I think the ideal person that would benefit from coliving is a single traveller who needs everything taken of for them. Usually staying in a coliving space is not the most affordable way of living in these low cost destinations but the value is in the community and the ‘soft-landing’. As an experienced ‘digital nomad’ and travelling with a partner, I’m usually happy to find our own place and rely on coworking spaces to find that community.
What's the price for the affordable coworksurf option? I think it's such a great idea. It's like having the office experience but with like minded people. You can actually choose your own office as you please and when you want it. In a tropical paradise no less. Where do I sign in? lol
Hey Chris. I'm an underwater photographer/videographer starting an online business and changing bases from koh Tao to Bali next month. What are would you recommend me to stay in? It is such a huge island. The most important factors for me are surf, diving, and would like to be in a community of 20-30year olds entrepreneurs, creatives etc. I was actually thinking about getting a place in nusa lembongan since there is more diving overthere for me to shoot in the water
I would recommend Canggu for most of the factors you mentioned but I don't know about the diving. Maybe Nusa Lembongan will be better, I can't be sure sorry.
Haha - insane pricing. I used to hang in great places in Ubud not so long ago for 200 a month. The extra 800 would buy a lot of food / drink / coffee / motorbike / anything............

Thanks so much! I admit that these are the types of videos I enjoy making the most :)

double like!
So handy! I've never done a co-living space.... intrigued now!
I loved this video. It took me right back to when my wife and I stayed at the Amandari and Amankila about 20 years ago.

Love your channel! Such helpful information. Your shots are gorgeous too.
Thanks for the run down! I like the last one !
Super silky shots! Looks like you are liking the new tools!
all looks comfy but I love Dojo the most
Hi Chris, would be great if you can add the pricing for the rooms/stay in all the co-living spaces? Thanks!

Wow thats super good! Yea i was thinking Outpost would be better then that!
I know it’s faster for members but I’m just not sure what it would be exactly
This coliving concept is like a "kontrakan", but way more luxurious.
Love your video and the content. You inspire me bro!
Fantastic video. Thankyou for doing this
These look great but for me I'd probably go for something more private. You know, having kids and all. Still, great informative video Chris👍
Great production value on your videos!
Thank you so much
Awesome video. You improved yourself in terms of filming stuff ;)
really like these videos!!
awesome job on this!
Thanks for the cameo Jamie!
you met jamie baskerville 🤙also thats a really smart way to carry the crane 2, never thought about that
How do I carry the Crane 2? I don't remember talking about it on video.
No I saw you had the carry case attached to the backpack. Just saying that’s a smart option
Oh I see what you mean! Thanks.
This video is nice
Cool video man!
Thanks!
Matra looks promising!
Nice video, what are your thoughts of living in a coliving space vs a regular apartment? Is the community worth it?

Chris the Freelancer Yeah, that totally makes sense. A good place to figure things out if you're just starting. Thanks!
Roam has now become Outpost Penestanan

Good video!
you've gotta visit uluwatu area
For sure!
Terrific idea - ridiculous pricing, except the last one (427$) - prices need to go down, Chris.......asap.....:-)

I was thinking the same thing that last one was really nice to!
So which one is your favourite?
hmmm, not sure. I'd probably have to stay in each of them to get a proper sense of each.
What video editing software do you use?
I now use Adobe Premiere Pro
To me they look more like hostels or hotels, not long term house sharing
Important Q. Hubud isn't on top of your list?
Not a coliving space
Only one other person staying at the entire Outside complex? Seems like that defeats the whole point of coliving
So Overpriced...
Coliving ,what wankers call a boarding house
You have convinced me not to visit Bali. Quoted prices are not for the budget traveler. Thanx
I'd still consider coming to Bali. You don't have to stay in a coliving space.
I hate programming and all that coding shit. I could never be a 'digital nomad'.
No worries Hank. Do what makes you happy :)
