    Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The people were displayed in front of me and I saw one prophet passing by with a large group of his followers, and another prophet passing by with only a small group of people, and another prophet passing by with only ten (persons), and another prophet passing by with only five (persons), and another prophet passed by alone. And then I looked and saw a large multitude of people, so I asked Gabriel, "Are these people my followers?' He said, 'No, but look towards the horizon.' I looked and saw a very large multitude of people. Gabriel said. 'Those are your followers, and those are seventy thousand (persons) in front of them who will neither have any reckoning of their accounts nor will receive any punishment.' I asked, 'Why?' He said, 'For they used not to treat themselves with branding (cauterization) nor with Ruqya (get oneself treated by the recitation of some Verses of the Qur'an) and not to see evil omen in things, and they used to put their trust (only) in their Lord." On hearing that, 'Ukasha bin Mihsan got up and said (to the Prophet), "Invoke Allah to make me one of them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah, make him one of them." Then another man got up and said (to the Prophet), "Invoke Allah to make me one of them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Ukasha has preceded you."

    Masha' Allah ya Sheykh Baajour! I just watched the video and really loved it. The advice you gave was very helpful, and the way you recited the Qur'an was so emotionally beautiful. Masha' Allah! But, I really want to know? If there are 100 levels in Jannah, then why do most people use the terminology "7 heavens?" And about the fasting; how can someone be kept away from Hellfire for only 70 years if he or she is already in Heaven? Once in Heaven, shouldn't the person already be kept away from Hellfire anyway for eternity? I'm just curious. I thank you so much for your help.

    • @EPICMASJID
      @EPICMASJID  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Barakallahu Feeki
      7th heavens are not the Jannah and its levels . Completely different
      being away from hellfire is a reward , a bonus . Just like many deeds we do to stay away from the fire .

  • @AquillaMoosani
    @AquillaMoosani 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Jannat is 100 levels
    Distance between each level is the distance from earth to highest sky.
    Ghuraf: Lofty mansions built high with rivers beneath. To earn them:
    1. Speak gently to everyone specially parents. Choose best words to communicate
    2. Feed others . Needy or not. Doing for sake of Allah
    3. Fast regularly .Fasting 3 days of every month is as if you have fasted all your life. Any 3 days except Friday/ Saturday.
    But better if Monday/ Thursday or 13,14,15 each month . Will also make your heart pure
    4. Stand up in salat when people sleeping ( Tahajjud).
    Best is last third of night, any extra rakat after Ishaa

    Thanks sheikh, why can't we fast Friday or Saturday, sorry new to islam, thank you

    • @EPICMASJID
      @EPICMASJID  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fridays is our weekly Eid and
      l-Bukhaari (1985) and Muslim (1144) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “No one of you should fast on Friday, unless he fasts (a day) before it or after it.”
      As for Saturdays
      narrated by al-Tirmidhi (744), Abu Dawood (2421) and Ibn Maajah (1726) from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Busr, from his sister, that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not fast on Saturdays apart from days when you are obliged to fast. If any one of you cannot find anything other than grape stalks or the twigs of a tree, let him chew it (to make sure that he is not fasting).

    13.10..…onwards few secs....dear shaikh.. like so many many I'm an ardent student of u and amongst those who try to....LISTEN AND APPLY..... I've a question .. particularly I'm a senior specialist physician and a student of science..at 13.12..approx...stated...research says ..three days fasting in every month... keep one healthy......, while lot of research done and perhaps documented about benefits of fasting and there's a craze among all ...particularly young people..fasting interuptedly ...fasting fifteen hours daily... that's to take dinner say after sunset an break fast after fifteen hours..etc etc...but I didn't heard three days continuous fasting ..and that too lunar month wise......don't know whether madina University or any islamic researcher done it....my humble submission is...IF WE SAY SOMETHING SCIENTIFIC WE MUST GIVE REFERENCE.. otherwise much pseudoscience will overpower sunnah of rasoloollaah sws... which we hope today or tomorrow be corroborated by science..of course whether yes or no doesn't matter yo an imanwala .. believe r of today as science may come and go but muhammadur rasoloollaah...ie...his teachings will remain valid till the day of qiyamah...

    Yusuf عليه السلام said to his brother: "grieve not!"
    Shuaib عليه السلام said to Musa عليه السلام:
    "fear not!"
    Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said to his companion: "be not sad!"
    Spreading reassurance amongst people in an hour of anxiety is from the method of the prophets.
    P.S: Don't Panic and don't let others around you panic. Increase your Tawakkal in Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala and reassure others about it.
    Work for Aakhirah for verily this Dunya is so temporary!
