In einer neuen Folge URBAN MUSIC begleitet ALEX den israelischen Sänger Idan Raichel, der im Lido sein neues Album At The Edge Of The Beginning vorstellte.
Idan Raichel ist bereits seit 14 Jahren in der Musikbranche tätig und gründete 2002 das Idan Raichel Project, in dem mehr als 90 Musiker aus aller Welt zusammen musizieren. Mittlerweile feiert der Produzent und Komponist gemeinsam mit den Musikern des Idan Raichel Projects internationale Erfolge.
Wie er dazu steht, dass seine Musik außerhalb von Israel als „Weltmusik“ gelabelt wird und ob das Vaterwerden sein Wesen und sein neues Album beeinflusst haben, fand Carolin Schmid im Interview mit dem Künstler heraus.

This interviewer. She definitely had something going on (at the beginning of the interview) For Idan Raichel. Then she realized, that he has a family, and then she goes like, aha, uh-huh... 🤣 But, mb, just mb,...we all been there 😭 He just is a man of family. Even we don't like that 😆 (or we do, just a joke). But, yeah, I grown over it, after 20 or so years 🙃 Hope his family is ok nowadays. And all the musical family too

And THIS will create a song that will not be forgotten it will add drama and mystery to this ancient wonderful love story.
