Beautiful girls!
Eliaabeth Risdon was flat out excellent in a supporting role as Joan Crawford's mother in Mannequin, 1937.
08:20 Actor Bonar Colleano was the husband of actress Susan Shaw (Fire Maidens of Outer Space). He was killed in a car crash in 1958, she never recovered from the loss, died penniless of alcohol related problems, the studio and producers of FMOS picked up her funeral tab- very sad story.
Heart wrenching story.
So many of these people committed suicide
Harry Einstein had just finished roasting Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz at the Friar's Club in Beverly Hills, California, and had just returned to his seat on the dais, when he suddenly slumped over onto Milton Berle's lap, dying in front of a live audience.
Tala Birell was 50 at the time of her death not 61. Jack Norton was 76 not 69, having been born in 1882 not 1889.
Jack Norton played Larry Fine's father-in-law in the first official Three Stooges short Woman Haters (1934).
Seems like almost everyone who died young (especially men) was listed as having a heart attack. Makes you wonder?
Exactly in the making and data collection part I've noticed this, heart attack thing and always think about "why so many young famous people had heart attacks..." 🤔
@@obituarypedia I think medicine has advanced a lot since that era. No doubt many of those would be attributed to other factors today.
