Thanks for making tutorials over stuff that GBG either does not explain very well, or even maybe does not cover at all! I would say that you are pretty much the "Brakeys" of the Game Builder Garage community!
Considering that modulos are very helpful for decoding a saved number transmitted through the Swap-Game Nodon, the setup with two Map Nodon and an Angle Difference Nodon is way more efficient than previous methods. I thought I knew everything about this Nodon, but you just had to prove me wrong, didn't you? Cheers.
I don't have GBG (but I will get it one day) and I love just seeing these videos and getting a deeper understanding of the coding. I definitely know which videos to watch when I walk into an obstacle and I will try to remember to organize my code!
Can you do what about turn-based text? Like dialog for a character in your game? That's the best I can explain for that but I really want to know. When I get a switch Nintendo online and this game I will try my best to make wonderful games
Best way to make dialogue like that would be to link a bunch of text objects (somehow) to a counter that counts up as the dialogue progresses, unfortunately GBG isn't too good with non-diagetic stuff like textboxes and UI.
Nintendo: What if we teach the players all the basic stuff 10 times over... but then all the complex stuff... we don't even tell them about and force them to learn it themselves in 50 tedious puzzles AFTER the main tutorials. Eh? Eh?
Every Loup video makes me go back to my code and try to make it better
Thanks for taking the time to make these extremely helpful videos so that I can understand and enjoy the game more.
Thanks for this! I like how you bring central limit theorem into the game.
The best reason to subscribe to loup&snoop Is the amazing thumbnails

Totally agree! :) I always learn something new from Loup&Snoop.
Alternate title: Loup explains basic algebra to 7-year-olds
Well thanks for making me feel even dumber
@@ungabunga2472 Well he's right at least about the algebra part
@@spiritbaki108 doesn’t change much. I feel like this channel is better for people with a more advanced understanding of programming aka not me lol
@@uragaan4923 well i dont have experience in programming and understand this
@@uiinpui Congrats! Have a 🍪
Awesome tutorial, barely knew what the map nodons even did lol!

Yeah, definitely gotta revisit my level with the knowledge of modulo.
The biggest revelation for me in this video was finding out that putting multiple inputs into one port adds them up.
I want to see a series of motion control tutorials using Nodon such as If-Face-Up, Shake, and Rotation-Speed.

I'm now subbed to this channel because of all the great game builder tips.
this video goes from 0 to 100 real quick 😳
He used a map nodon on it
Ahhhhh! You made it, you actually made a video on Map Nodon! Thank you for this!!! 💖💖

Thank you so much for this video!
Can I get a video that isn’t Einstein explaining how the map nodon works?
I’m not even subscribed and your videos appear in my recommended
I don’t have this game but I played that demo and am wondering if a title screen / level select could work
you can't play a game on game builder garage if you don't have game builder garage
@@AndyGun11 I want to see a video of so one else playing it
So many Math stuffs,thank you.
My person can punch or kick depending on which button was pressed using maps. Thanks!
This tutorial went from 0 to a 100 really fast.
Nah, your map settings are set too high. 😉
Thanks! I didn't quite get it in the story, possibly because I was feeling kind of tired through most of the story.
Can you make a tutorial about all the angle nodons?
Information on the angle nodons is contained through my other videos, especially on AI.
The second he hit that arrow my brain died.
I can't get away from Calc, can I?
Mapping nodons are cool, but using the essential limit theorem to generate random values with a normal distribution in GBG is pretty sick
Thanks.
Can you explain the Start Nodon?
On Start gives one on the first frame after pressing start, and outputs zero otherwise.
@@loupandsnoop can you make examples in a video?
What happend if i put range input 1 to 1 and in output 5 to 5?

I NEVER GET THEM TO WORK!
Why do you have so little subs
Hey don't laugh. At your recommendation I went and cleaned up my code. Did you know comment nodons have their own upper limit? I ran out.
I heard “NOT”. Not “Map”.
Ha u tried to make me comment on this video...
