    A year ago I was at my wits end, suffering from several years of incessant clattering in my ears. Neither doctors nor alternative methods were able to help. I called Phillip for his prayers and was healed within a week. I continue to rejoice .. and my love for Phillip and the Love he reflects is beyond words or measure. 😊❤

      Healing happens naturally when we open our thoughts to God! We appreciate our Christian Science practitioners so much, helping us to understand our relationship to Him. Happy to hear of your healing. ♥

    Phillip, this is the clearest, most understandable lecture I've heard on Metaphysics ever. I felt like something clicked. My copy of Science and Health just arrived today. Looking forward to it's study. God Bless.

    You have a clarity of thought. You have a way of explaining the complexity of metaphysics so that it is easily understood. Thank you!

    Excellent explanation of image and likeness. I’ve struggled with that understanding for a very long time and in mere moments you’ve made it absolutely clear in a simple way. (And this is not the first time I’ve heard one of your lectures.)

    if everyone experienced that amazing love come over them and were healed this world would be a lot different. why doesn't that happen?

    • @PrayerThatHeals
      @PrayerThatHeals  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, if everyone were open to the Christ it would be a different world. What we can do is be open ourselves and try to understand our relationship with God more clearly. That can have a healing effect on those around us!

      I love Christian Science in many ways, but found it only after years of seeking in diverse ways, including Buddhism, Taoism-tai chi, and so on. I had also had some contact with Unitarian Universalist interfaith association, along with my concerns in eco-social justice activism through Civil Society public interest groups, like Sierra Club, Greenpeace, and Oxfam, along with food co-op grocery-supermarkets, and more. In reading and watching much CS material, I´ve seen many types of testimonies, and see that my range of interests is merely an extension of many interests that are less common in people´s worldviews.
      In fact, I suppose my spiritual awakenings have been another kind of result of CS healing, such that I have recognized advanced thinkers like Fritjof Capra and his Systems Theory of Life, and how his views need to be reframed from merely scientific to philosophical. The detail helps emphasize details that appear already in Christian Science as the healing of attitudes, for one.

    Your story reminds me of the story of Doubting Thomas, when he demanded, for lack of a better explanation, "historical proof" that Christ was real. Doubting Thomas wanted to see material evidence, and so received a gentle rebuke from the Lord.
    But then he repented and realized how useless was his toil in the dark when him and his fellow disciples shared that breakfast with their Master on the shore of the Galilean Sea. And his eyes were opened!
    So it is with all of us. Do we not all have our "Doubting Thomas" moments when we get hit with a sudden dart of error -- but then it occurs that it's never too late to make a turnaround and have our eyes opened, too?
    Then does the light dawn upon us to "cast our nets to the right," as the Bible says.
    I know because it happened to me one time. But the turnaround is occurring!
