Fun fact deoxys actually beat him and giratina once but only because it was giratina vs mega rayquaza and the 2 had just been throwing down for god knows how long with deoxys pulling up right before giratina could finish mega rayquaza off and beating the 2 because they were both exhausted

The gas giants, while mainly gaseous, have cores. They have land, you just can’t get to it without being crushed to oblivion.

I remember the first time I had caught rayquaza, my brother somehow accidentally used the master ball on a magikarp so when I faced rayquaza I was panicking, I lowered it's health to 1 and only had pokeballs,ultraballs, and a few nest balls. I had ran out of the poke and ultraballs and on the final nest ball it was caught, I was 10 years old at that time so I was hyped for that catch.

Yeah i and my brother restarted so may damn times. The problem was qe had few balls and alsl rayqueza didnt stay freaking alive till then. We damaged it rests then gets up and knocks out 3 pokemon with outrage. In 3 rest turns we revive two cause swampert and swellow and was our only actually trained pokemon and then try again for it to fail. We use a turn and then it ether crits r its still confused and hits itself making it faint. We quit after sk damn long and caught him. We also really didnt like the biking secrion in the 3rd where u had to fall in the middle hole damn that took us forever.
Oh yes? Well I got a story for you. My little sister got a hold on my game when I wasn't looking and she went and faced against Rayquaza and I kid you not, (had to be pure luck) she didn't attack, no debuffs, nothing. She threw a PokeBall on the first try and caught Rayquaza. I wasn't sure whether to be upset or grateful because before she got to my game, I used every single ball I had and failed miserably

When i played gen 3 i never understood how Groudon could stand a chance against Kyoger. So glad he got his primal form made him such a threat.
Sunlight makes water do 50% less damage which basically just removes groudons weakness, and also lets him use solar beam every turn. He can also learn moves like thunder punch in case the weather changes (can also learn thunder which has 100 accuracy in rain). But on the other hand rain makes water do 50% more damage, and kyogre can learn ice beam. So at the end of the day theyre pretty evenly matched, its just a case of who can get the weather off first

To be fair, Groudon does know Solar Beam, I think.
Groudon had Solar Beam as part of it's learnable pool since Gen 3 and it's ability comes out second in Gen 6. It is very much the better of the two. Kyogre has to be returned to his ball and sent back out to use a single Super Effective Move, while Groudon gets One-Turn Solar Beams right from the second he steps foot on the battle field.
I think Kyogre gets Earthquake to hit Primal Groudon super effectively, but it's coming off of an inferior attack stat and it's not stab. And it's hitting Groudon's superior defense.
@@mordecai144k2The two have an identical base speed, meaning if one selected Solar Beam and the other selected Earthquake it literally becomes a 50/50 to see who kills the other.
