ah, that makes sense. I finally upgraded from GarageBand to Cubase and I'm trying to get serious about recording and learn more about plug-ins. A few follow up questions: 1) What are some good free impulses? I've got some free preamp/poweramp/full amp plug ins that seem to need cab sims. 2) Do I need to use impulses even if I'm running software like Amplitube? 3) How does Amplitube compare to Guitar Rig or POD Farm?
