- Today I modify the pipe on a mate's Harris Decorite race bike.
He's quite tall so modifications were required.

GREAT to have more content, I love the AR STUFF. Spent three hours binge whating ur channel. 43 now but brings back memeries of been 14 years old, strip engine fri nite FILE PISTON/PORTS and thrashing bike at local trading estate saturday. My death trape of choice was Honda mbx 50cc running nitro methane.
Then later RD125 WITH POWER VALVE MOUNTING HOLES FILED OVAL. CHASSED A STAN STEVENS RD175cc HOME ONE NITE HE STOPED AND SAID WOW HOW MUCH HAVE YOU SPENT ON YOUR BIKE HE FACE WENT GREEN WHEN I SAID NOTHING BUT OVAL HOLES ON POWER VALVE AS HE'D SPENT OVER 1,500 QUID
NOW I AM THINKING I SHOULD START TO PLAY WITH SUZUKI RG125 THATS BEEN SAT FOR 20 YEARS UNDER THE KITCHEN WINDOW...........

Sounds like you have had some.good results from 2 strokes! It's amazing what can be achieved with a set of files and some determination!

It's a true rarity, with a truly atypical design. In France, this work of art could only be seen in magazines.
I'm currently rebuilding 2 1981 RD350 LCs for my small 2-stroke collection, which had been waiting in my garage for 3 years. What I'm missing now is a Kreidler, a Zundapp and an RG 500.
Hi siem, it is a work of art for sure - I spent a lot of time looking at it. There was no CNC from what I could see just a lot of manual miling - very nice.
I can't imagine the Kreidler or Zundapp are cheap? I know RG 500's cost a lot. One of the things I wish I brought many years ago when they were a bit cheaper :)

I'm new around here. Enjoying the content. I remember the era of the British 250 championship in the mid 80's. There were some trick race specials in that series, as well as the Decorites there was the Exactweld the Armstongs & EMC. It's all proddie based stuff nowadays.

@@AutoBeta2T ibelive that engine rated at around 89 hp that's incredible for a 250. Love to know the bikes weight. 2022 yz 250 has about 49 hp. Super cool vid you made greatly appreciate your time sharing. Great job on the pipe. Loved the vids very interesting whenever opertunitys arise like you working on any cool or semi cool projects come along and you have time I will allways be interested.

Ive got a Old motorcycle test im sure on that Harris bike think back from 1982 ish think they had a Harris magnum !!! if recall

Hi Shelley, I'm currently about 80% through the next video which is about finishing the pipe. The next few weekends are really busy for me but I'll hopefully it'll be released shortly. Cheers for asking 😃

Hi Drew, unfortunately the bike isn't fully working... There's no coolant in it. But hopefully Andy will get it sorted and we can run it on the Dyno and racetrack soon and capture some of the sound 😊
