Hi Scott, i am so in love with your work. and when i listened to this video i realised just how much your work draws me because it is a spiritual feeling. something bigger than paint and a canvas. i get lost in your paintings and feel recharged in such a good way. epic how i found this video now, when i have just started delving into the concept of the book you are reading. perfect marriage, art and spirituality. most people dont understand when i tell them my paintings is not just a picture that the eye recognizes. You must feel it when you look at it, the eyes alone cannot see what is captured with the painting. thank you for sharing these videos, it has tremendous value!
Hey, thank you so much, I really enjoyed getting your feedback. These conceptual videos aren’t for the masses, so I do appreciate you taking the time to let me know how much you have got out of it. Articulating these things isn’t easy!
Hi Scott, The timing of this exhibition and its concepts, meaning and referring to your past work and the reading you've been doing explains to me why I have always loved your work. There is so much art being produced around the world that has so much merit. Nevertheless, the kind of artwork I want to live with is that which mirrors my own thinking (as yours does), inspires to me to work on, hold the line, and lean forward fearlessly (which yours does). Some day I hope to meet with you to discuss the acquisition of art from the buyer's perspective and the profound need I see in the world for its timely rise to its proper place. A piece of artwork (to my way of thinking) thoughtfully conceived and masterfully created has the capacity to powerfully communicate what may not have been felt in any other way. Truly, were I able, I would want to purchase everything I have seen thus far to help me; first, with my work and, second, for the joy I would feel and the beauty that would exist living with even one of these pieces. I'll keep the thought of them in my memory to produce the life saving synergy I am hoping to contribute to a cause more important than me and mine and for a purpose above and beyond. On a more fundamental note, at my most depleted time during my battle with Cancer in 2015-17, this thought clearly came into my mind, "You need to get more color into your life." I immediately felt ignited from within, like fireworks. I still remember how I reacted to my first inspection of a package of 24 pencil crayons. At 5, I was instantly in love with those colors and longed to have them as my own. * Recursion -- the defining of a problem (or a solution to a problem) in terms of (a simpler version of) itself. * google Recursion 2023 is exciting and truly beautiful in a naturally powerful and simultaneously serene sort of way. A body of work to be cherished. Thank you for sharing your process and vision. I, too, am looking forward to your exhibition.
Just went and looked at the exhibition. Very impressive. I love the highlands and I'm also a proponent of the Pageau brothers, so this work really speaks to me!

Great summary of Pageau's ideas and the art looks gorgeous.
