Hi! My name is Suzanne. I have been a Christian for a long time, and really have a desire to read The Bible from beginning to end and fail. I start reading at any given day and then stop, or don't go on after a day, week, or month. My prayer is that I want The Word to become part of me. And come alive within me.
Have you tried using audio bibles? I find it easier when I just don't feel like reading. I can also go for a walk or get some other physical activities done while the message still gets in.
I know it's been 2 years but I'm 23 and reading your comment makes me really happy. I hope you're still focused on God and not giving into any worldly pressures that friends or social media might be putting on you. God will strengthen you to do what pleases Him❤❤
This is the third year in a row that I have followed TLC through the Bible. I am just as excited this time as I was the first time. I learn something new every day! Thank you TLC!

My best friend and I spend a lot of time together in worship and traveling. We love attending contemporary Christian concerts and travel hours if needed to experience them. I read through the whole Bible in a year for the first time in 2022 using the Bible Recap (I had read it through before but not all in a year, even though I had tried many times). Thank you TLC for all you do to encourage the Body of Christ to get into the Word and to look for God! It's a huge blessing and I'm grateful. It really is life changing when you start reading the Bible this way.
I’m currently reading the Bible with a Bible in a year plan and I am loving it. I plan on doing the Bible recap when I finish because I’ve always wanted to read the Bible in chronological order. I bought the entire Recap set so I can get the most out of my reading.

This has been an amazing experience for me and my husband. It is so good; I won't let getting behind sometimes deter me from continuing. I have learned more this year than I have my whole life. My husband and I read the Bible verses and listen to Tara-Leigh together. Then we discuss the things we didn't know as well as the things we are wrong about. We love this so much!! Thank you! You put into words many things that I have thought and struggled with over the years. I have felt guilty and ashamed for "not liking" and not understanding why God would do certain things. I love God and I thank Him for my salvation through Jesus Christ. I have read through the Bible multiple times, but there are certain parts that I quickly read through so that I can move past them because I do not feel comfortable with them. I know He is God, and I obviously am not, so I trust that He must have a good reason, but hopefully your plan with help me with some of my 'uncomfortableness'. Looking forward to it! 😊

This is a little uncanny. I’ve always loved God even if I haven’t understood Him. I wanted to understand him so when a niece of mine mentioned Bible Recap I was intrigued. Tonight I went to Amazon to get a sample of the book which led me to Tara and the preps to get started. I love her and her zeal. I’m a TLC too. I know I'm listening at the end of the yr first time. I'm excited and scared, I've never read the Bible through. I don't have a relationship with God. Not a spring chicken. But somehow I was guided to this. So I'm going to start this anyone does read this please pray for me that I can have a relationship with God. TLC mentions a printable reading checklist, I have looked at the web page, if someone has it link it here, please . As I have started many bible reading plans, do not think I have ever completed one, Lord let this be the lit fuse I need to soak up & learn your word, Hebrews 11:6
I've probably spent an hour trying to understand all the apps etc., I'm on a Samsung and just can't figure out how to do this process so i guess I'm stuck using TH-cam which gives me tons of interupting ads

Even though Noah's ark story is a foreshadow; however, the story really happened. Did you know in the same month and day of the Hebrew calendar of Noah and his family getting on the ark; that thousands of years was the Passover; where the children of Israel put lambs' blood on their doors; where God's people were saved from destruction? Did you also know that on the same month and day, thousands of years from Passover was Jesus's crucifixion, which brought salvation? These three stories happened on the same month and day many years apart, but all dealt with God saving His people.
The Bible contains so many inspirational lessons for every day life like the story of when God raped Mary to create Jebus. Sometimes rape is not bad I have been educated in that.
This will be my first time reading through the whole Bible. I have tried in the past but always felt overwhelmed and not completely understanding what I read. @thebiblerecap I would like to make a suggestion though. I like many others live on a fixed income and cannot afford the journal and daily study guide. I wish there was a free digital version that I could print or copy into a blank journal. If anyone has any suggestions for this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Audio helped me tremendously! This is my 3rd time. I would have never made it the first time without the audio.
