I DID IT!!! I have completed reading the Bible "completely" through for the FIRST time in my 68 years. Praise GOD!! He has helped me set aside the appropriate time and allowed me to read/hear and understand soooo much of the word that I have never understood. I am ready to start another year tomorrow and do it again so I can gleen more from His word. I want to read the bible through every year for the rest of my life, God willing. Join me because if I can do this, you can too. Just start, Like Tara-Leigh says "HE IS WHERE THE JOY IS"!!
I'm reading through for the first time. I'll be 60 in May. My grandmother used to read through every year. She always said she learned something new each time. She did change up the bibles. All of them were KJV, but they were different physical sizes or type sizes. :)
I’m not the type of person to read my Bible at night, but I was the type of person to read my Bible high on marijuana. I told myself it helps. Me concentrate better, and it motivates me to read it. Which would have true I was motivated to read my Bible while high but I could never meditate on, remember it in a few hours, or even remember the next day. So I definitely wasn’t applying it to my life. I am now becoming sober, and I’m going to start reading my plan in the mornings ! Thank you for this series
I don’t know how my TH-cam algorithm led me to the Bible recap but I’m so grateful. I’ve been listening while following along to the days readings at night while I nurse my baby to sleep. Currently I’m on day 189 and I’m so excited to finish my first journey thru the Bible!
I found reading the Bible in the morning is really best. It’s best for me because what you read shows up through my daily life and I’m always finding him working and speaking to me through his word with what is daily going on with me personally. God knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s so exciting hearing from him and speaking to me through his word and getting closer to him. I love feeling his presence. It’s a total wake up call in my life and loving it. ❤️
I was so mad that I have to do this prep episodes first. This will be my third time reading the whole bible and I thought "what could possibibly so important to say that she made not one but SIX prep episodes" but I'm glad that I didn't skip it.
I appreciate the honesty. I've never seen a devotional with so many videos prior. I considered skipping too but I'm so grateful I didn't. I've collected so many notes from these videos and her approach and teaching style has me so excited to get started on this journey. It's also healing something in me. I usually approach these devotionals with the need to be perfect and very orderly about it; But the way she talks about this time with God makes it more exciting. It's a relationship where I can have the pleasure of spending time with Jesus and enjoy his company. 🥰
I appreciate how honest you are and showing you are just like some of the rest of us at times. Not using our time wisely. That we all fail at times You are so good. I am so glad I found you through Candace’s podcast.
Oh my goodness you are awesome. I am thankful that God led me to you to accomplish the goal I had set for 2024. It’s amazing how many times in just the first 4 things I’ve listened to that you have said the things that I’ve thought and felt. I am so excited for this journey. Thank you SO much.
Thank you so much for these videos TLC. For the time that I have been reading the Bible, I always did it at night and failed to remember what I read going into the next day. I really needed this. Before my feet hit the ground, God's Word needs to be going into my mind. He should have the firstfruits of my day.
I'm just getting started, I was introduced to you by my mom who has completed the bible reading for the third time. I'm looking forward to developing a closer relationship with my creator!😊
so true- I kind of like to read at night but more to wind down not to truly focus on what I’m reading and I usually get super sleepy. Morning is better when I truly carve out the time. Also I don’t think my bed is the best place- similar to journaling. It’s better when I’m seated at my desk
I'm so glad I found this. I've read through the Bible before but it never stuck and I read sometimes just to read but this time via the plan I will take my time.
I found Bible Recap in You Version in bible reading plans. This plan look different as I’ve tried others plans and just didn’t pull me like this one. I read the word in AM on the train, but also listen to it while getting ready for work, I’ve started the plan and just excited. Thank you so much as you make reading the entire Bible exciting!
I love how reading God's Word is so contagious. I had a friend who told me about Bible Recap & I am so so thankful for the truth about God's Word! I love your summary at the end of each bible reading day because I love looking for the "God Shot!" Thank you for all you have put into making this ministry happen!
Have read through the one year Bible several times. Tried the chronological Bible, hated it when it got to reading about the same battle over and over. This was is better. A nice recap wrap up makes for something I can look forward to.
Thank you for these episodes and all of your work. I have been wanting to grow closer to God for years. I read the Bible on occasion & do various plans but not like this. I am so excited to follow along and read the Bible & grow my relationship with God. I love your enthusiasm and love for your work.
Thank you for sharing... I downloaded the app, and now am ready, and willing to set time in my mornings to spend time with our heavenly Father, each and every day...in peace, in quiet and the best of each morning!.... Thank you for your words of encouragement, and I look forward to tomorrow!.. Amen!
Thx SO much. I’ve been introduced to you by watching you on Candace Buries’ podcast. It’s January 1st. Happy New Year Tara. Looking forward to reading and listening. I listen to the U Tube, audio NKJV ( by Blue Letter Bible, I think). I’m an old Calvary Chapel girl. Same Church since I was 19. 56 now. Chronologically reading is very fascinating to me and my husband. God bless you and thank you for sharing our Lord! - Mendy 👍🙏🏻🤗🥁 ( Husband is a drummer, lol)
7pm wasn't as easy to stay consistent as the 5-7am timeframe. My place isn't ideal but I'm getting it done in bed for now... journaling and all. Then, I post a snippet of my GODshot to my group. Thank you for the tip about setting the notification on my Bible app because my TH-cam subscription notifications come to my phone randomly.
Help me. I am lost I can’t navigate the app. Please help me. I can only see the reading for the day and it’s not the right day. Please give detailed instructions on how to do the things you did in the appp
I have a few questions regarding recap chronological bible reading. I hope this is the space where one can ask. My question is what for any important reason I miss one day reading . How do I proceed?
Just pick up where you left off! If you have only missed one day, you might be able to do both if time permits. But even if you can't, that's ok. Just don't skip over a day completely. 🙂
This has happened to me many times...I agree don't skip over that day but also dont allow it to defeat you...don't give up...this os so worth it...to have a deeper relationship with Christ...and truly He is where our Joy is!!!! Also for everyone a reminder of the group on fb...very encouraging!!!! Glad to be on this journey with you all!!!
God allows evil to go on in the world. When we complain, we do the opposite of worshipping. Complaining rubs it in God's face what he's not doing. Worship praises God on his goodness.

@@DioniWise87 I'm starting this year too! High-five!
So good!!!! I'm just starting, trying again for the 20th or so time eek
Congratulations to you! I will be 55 soon and am also determined to be faithful and read the entire bible for the first time. God is so good!

I call it Father daughter time.

I'm excited to start this program on January 1. I've read through the Bible before, but this will be the first time with TBR.

I went through the whole year and enjoyed it but the notification didn’t happen. I had to search for TLC each day on YT but it’s worth it
Priority time!! That is so good

I love that, "priority time" I'm going to use that on my alarm
I just put my books and things in a tote so everything is in 1 place for my reading time.

"No shame in the nighttime quiet time game." 😂 🤫
I'm not new to the Bible but I am new to the Bible recap. I have a question in looking over materials. What is a God Shot?
That is where you see God's character in the daily reading. TLC shares her's each day..

Yes, and it's a HUGE part, my fave part of the day ❤
Thank you 🙏. Awesome video 🕉️☮️♾️☯️💟
Thank you 🙏😊❤️🕉️
I wish I had the time available to read through twice!
Read once in the morning and read through again later in the day....maybe during your lunch or in the evening.
I realize me wanting to be there for everyone was really foolish because I was empty and giving from a vaccum
You mentioned that you'd provide a list of good study Bibles in the description, but I don't see the list. Can you please tell me where to find it?
Didn't realise how much I read the bible as a to do list about me until now! 😅
Gonna try searching for God instead
Expect to learn new things about God as you read the Bible daily.

Where is the paper to print for following along?? Thanks
thanks. Says Journal and Study Guide are unavailable as of 12/31/22. When will they be available again? Thank you.
@ YT, Happy New Year! 🎉🌟 They are both available on Amazon.
I don’t see links to your favorites bibles and study bibles in the description. Can you add them?
