Explanations of obscure characters would make a great replacement for "Beyond Omega". It's always interesting to get some history on the weird side characters that pop up

The good thing about ideas like this on a channel like this is that maybe the "right people" see this and give these characters a revisit.

That is such a funny concept. What if they instead had squirrel first fight the misfits but ultimately realize each of them alone save for squirrel girl doesn’t really amount to much. Thus bringing the three together to make their own superhero organization the Misfits but due to them growing to fame as the team for the people. You could also have cool Avenger and X-men crossovers since Two of the members are confirmed mcu mutants Toad and Squirrel Girl. @comicsexplained

@@ECopas I like this Idea too I wouldn’t be surprised if we see throg in secret wars to add an extra funny aspect. They could definitely do something with this after civil war pt2 more hero organizations either coming out due to it or going into seclusion like X-men did to deal with their own stuff and during this disarray is when Frog Man Toad and Squirrel Girl starts the misfits and along the way they need to go to new Asgard for questions possibly a death of Thor scenario by then where either throg is deemed worthy in the interim or even Frog man wielding the hammer and since everyone knows him as a failure except for accidental wins he rebrands himself as Throg since his goals are coming from a good place in his heart

@@ECopas even if it’s just like a Cap and Thor type thing where you have a feeling cap should be worthy then he actually uses it in a significant fight to turn the tide even for a moment or even an end to his story or story arc to have him wield it for that upper hand for the rest to finish off the main bbeg and ultimately he succumbs to them but he finally gets recognized as a true hero after and people tell him that I feel it would be real strong for a side character that usually accidentally did more harm than good
I love the new "Way-Beyond-Omega-Level." series.

This is the type of character I can easily see a writer either making a villain after he gets some sort of power because no one took him seriously before or making him sacrifice himself to save others proving all you need is an heart of gold to be a true hero.
Frog man and Squirrel Girl team up..... would that go well or terribly bad I really dont know.

Man, Rob, you got me on this one. I love Astro City and never realized Mock Turtle was a riff on this frog character. Nice.
Funny how things correlate. I've just finished the Vison and Scarlet Witch second miniseries, and Toad being a part of that story helped introduce me to the misfits, who you mentioned in this video! It was cool to hear about them a bit more. I'm excited to see him in She-Hulk tonight!

Would be a funny story to introduce the notion that he is a minor mutant like Morlock power level and has Domino-lite powers of minor luck that he can't control. Make him a lucky mascot that doesn't know how to control it. Useful, but not reliable.

I LOVE Frogman - in fact it’s the only Marvel action figure I have outside of 1970s Dazzler. Though if they did a lawyer clothes She Hulk I would totally grab it.

I would love to see a series on comics explained where you hypothesize what DC and marvel characters that are analogs of each other (Batman & Tony Stark or Moon Knight) would deal with the other's villains. Would they do a better job at fighting the other analogs' enemies? Or worse? It's an interesting concept.

Do you think Squirrel Girl will make an appearance in the MCU since she has been kind of a strange powerhouse at times? Especially since her first appearance was when she help save tony stark from doom by flooding the Doomship with squirrels and she is apart of the Great Lake avenger’s. I also noticed in the MCU the avenger’s team hasn’t really established east or west coast avengers so maybe after secret wars or leading up to it maybe we also see the avengers saying we need to be global and then lead into civil war part 2 after the events of secret wars
She was almost in the mcu via the canceled new warriors show

I'm just glad Sony didn't have the rights to Frog Man, although I'm sure their plans for a Frog Man trilogy would have millions of dollars worth of development wasted on it before it was cancelled. Then again we are actually getting the Madame Web movie even after Morbius was released and utterly bombed. Twice. Sony is just bad at this. I mean they are planning a Silver Sable movie. Silver Sable. She dresses in silver and has a gun. That's it. A foil embossed cover #1 issue couldn't make her interesting, much less a multi-million dollar, mainstream movie property.
Silver Sable is a highly trained mercenary leader and has several weapons and tools madame Webb is not related to morbius

The fact Marvel is giving D-List characters like Wong more exposure with Secret Invasion coming down the pipeline suggests that these are actually Skrull spies and with Frogman being a known Skull imposter in the comics it just cements that conclusion further.
I think its actually backwards these days list heroes are the ones that aren't imposters but the bigger heroes are the imposters with the d-list heroes having a underdogs story where they manage to stop the invasion by being underestimated
Im not going to lie, if the avengers actually took him in and trained him im pretty sure as unpowered as he is he would make a great shield operative or help Daredevil with gathering evidence as the suit could easily be modified in to a wetsuit/sneaking suit, his pure element of surprise already helps him out alot and with his playful nature and excitement i can see a lot of fun shenanigans already
id watch a whole tv series where frogman is played by danny devito. this is just the character danny would play tragic, outlandish, toeing the line of right and wrong.
