This actually helps you with the helicopter cartwheel!! You’ll see she goes into the cartwheel as a lefty, but finishes the front walkover as a righty!
Same (opposite but same, ykwim😅). If my experience may help you, prioritize the cartwheel😊. Landing a walkover with our shitty leg is uncomfy AF but it' s not that noticeable as we feel. It' s just an akward sensation that does not change the torso-spine position. A cartwheel and the extra switch with the bad side? How the hell am I gonna end something that already started clumpsy and weaker? Maybe prioritizing the cartwheel side doesn' t work for y' all tho😇... 🖤

I can’t do it either just remember try to stretch thighs back arms and ur wrists then use a mat and go for it remember if u fall nobody will make fun of u and if ur on a mat u will be fine don’t overthink and good luck

I am awful at commiting to skills out of just fear, I don’t have a very flexible back, and I’ve never done gymnastics - but I want to train my body to be more capable and stronger, and learning skills like this and handstands sound just so fun. I didn’t know this was a gymnastics move. When I was in 3rd grade (I’m now in 7th) I used to do a cartwheel and I would always do a helicopter not knowing that thins was a semi-difficult gymnastics move
OK this sounds basic and random but it rlly helped me for some reason? I do my front walkover with my right leg so if u do with left just reverse it. So kick up to ur handstand with ur right leg down on the ground and left leg up in the air. When u get to the center, (this is the weird part) make sure u really FEEL that split handstand, with ur right leg in the back and ur left leg forward. Then step ur left leg down to the ground and lift yourself up pushing off ur hands. Idk the staying in the split for a sec rlly helped me idk y? So yeah js stay in the split then put the left leg down and sway ur self up kinda? Hope this helps and you understand!
So here’s the problem, I learned mine from a cartwheel into a handstand so first I did the cartwheel into a handstand with my legs straddled for at least 2 seconds in the air then I went into my backbend from the handstand then I did a kick over 😅😅
here’s where it gets difficult. I’m a righty with cartwheels but a lefty with frontwalkovers
