I've quietly been enjoying the Pink Floyd journey and enjoying your genuine-ness. (Is that a word?) This music is a warm blanket on a fiercely cold night. Cheers.
I saw this same show in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap frogged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION. I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all.
Everytime I see a reaction to this track I watch it, I can't remember how many times I have listened to this over the years, but to me it still remains the greatest guitar solo of all time.
The Beatles made the guitar gently weep. Gilmour assaults your emotional center and makes the guitar cry out in the agony of the worst heartbreak you've ever had, but combining all the wonderful that came before the break, making it as beautiful as the most beautiful of sunsets. I still sometimes bite my arm, that I actually have vivid memories of being at one of the concerts on that tour, with a head full of shrooms and lungs filled with Mary Jane to boot, that didn't exactly make it any less mesmerizingly AMAZING! Cloudless night until "Braindamage" where clouds hid the moon at one of the "see you on the darkside of the moon" parts. They blew my fucking mind something fierce that beautiful night in Ames, IA.
I have probably seen this concert no less than 100 times and still gets me thrilled every time, brings tears to my eyes out of pure emotion. This is the definition of “sublime” for me.
Nick Mason (Drums) and Richard Wright (Keyboards) always created the canvas/tapestry on which David Gilmour would create his masterpieces. Nothing can compare to Pink Floyd
No, you need to be there! Failing that, headphones give more bang for the buck, but if you are prepared to spend the money, REALLY good speakers are better - you can't feel the music throughout your body with headphones, which you can with a concert or high quality speakers. You can't beat the liver massage you get rom the lower frequencies, and which no headphones on earth can provide. If headphones were as good, they'd rent them out to concert goers. But sadly, such speakers (and the amp[s] to drive them) are hideously expensive to get the same clarity as a headset of even the up to $300 range. Basically, just add a zero for equal clarity. I've heard of people using a good woofer for the bass (soft cut off around middle C/C4/262Hz) and headphones to get the audio side (full range, no filter) and clarity at higher frequencies in order to get the feel and clarity at a lower price point, but haven't tried that trick myself. I guess it might work fairly well.
You mentioned the Live8 version, That concert is uniquely special because the remaining members at the time reunited with Rodger Waters for one special show and it would turn out that it would be the last time that all four members of Pink Floyd would ever play on stage together. There were literally tears of joy in the audience that day... a must watch sometime down your journey.
I was at that gig and was blown away by the atmosphere, the sound, the lights and the sheer talent of everyone that contributed to the performance. David Gilmour is amazing. It's like he has been transported back in time, to show us how emotion can be emanated through sound. What a fantastic talent he, Richard Wright (R.I.P), Nick Mason, Roger Walters and not forgetting Syd Barret (R.I.P) had. Love your reaction and also you are super cute. Peace and love x
TY beautiful lady with an even more beautiful smile & beautiful heart .. TY for taking me back down memory lane being at the Pulse concert in Earls Court 94 .. TY from the bottom of my soul for reacting to the worlds best .. ever .. no comparison .. Floyd for life !
It is good to see young people getting into Pink Floyd, i've been a Floydy for nearly 50 years now, i would not have picked up a guitar if it wasn't for their song Wish You Were Here, i flew from Australia just for this concert. it was the best life experience musically, i've ever had. in the actual concert version of this the second solo by Dave Gilmour was three minutes longer. you can find it yourself cos if i put it up it will get blocked. your journey into Pink Floyd has just started. don't stop you won't be sorry. every album is a journey, and every track is another road along that journey
I was flooded first hearing this in '79. Each generation has an artist or band that helps define it. This album is one of them. So good to see somebody younger appreciate The Floyd! Peace! Thank you!! You get it!!!!
The Pulse concert is amazing! The entire thing is worth watching. My other favorite song from Pulse is 'Sorrow'. It's super intense. I recommend reacting to that next.
I loved your reaction to this. You just absorbed the emotion until you felt ready to burst and it just kept on coming. It was leaking from your brain through your ears, your eyes, every pore in your body. A great version of a great song.
Well done! Their live shows are insane. However, a bit of friendly advice from a lifetime Floyd fan. 1. Headphones are a must. 2. Their musicianship and lyricism is next-level elite. 3. They are very cerebral and deep. Their albums are ‘concept albums,’ meaning each song blends into the next to tell a larger story. The album ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ spent (I think) more time on the Billboard charts than any other album and is considered to be one of the greatest pieces of music ever made. Many can tell you where they were the first time they heard it. I would do a reaction vid where you listen to the whole album in one sitting. Trust me-you will be amazed. If you would like to try a stand alone track, listen to ‘Echoes’ live from Pompeii in I think 1972. Also incredible, but all their stuff is incredible. Great job!!
@@keypressplay9129 Dark Side Of The Moon was in the top 100 of album sales for over 15 years, far longer than any other LP in history. When you do get around to it please get some headphones and listen to all the songs in order, as each flows into the next!
I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shock both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well.
Dave is the best guitar player ever this solo best ever hes the GOAT qnd miss Jones thanks alot all thou i watch orher channels as well like the vocalist who is awesome u still learninf about pink floyd keep on learninf sofarbu doinf well
Loved it. Two songs from this same concert I recommend is "Coming Back To Life" & "One Of These Days", to show a little different Floyd, the one constant however...that guitar!
One of the most amazing performances of such a great song (My favorite PF song!)! This is definitely a song you feel. Your reaction was great as well! I could give you a TON of things to check out but start with Stevie Ray Vaughan's Texas Flood (from the Live at El Mocambo!)...
Pink Floyd is an amazing band. They have a long history. Coming out in 1966 and releasing their first album in 1967. The band has a total of 27 albums which includes 15 studio albums, 3 live albums and 9 compilation albums. Their final one which was titled "The Endless River" was released November 10th 2014.
Such an awesome performance this is. After all these years it is still fresh. This remastered material is even better than the Pulse DVD. Enjoyed your reaction!
If you want Pink Floyd Live you need to get a double CD of the Delicate Sound of Thunder, it's live and awesome. I saw them live in 1994 at Sheafer Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. It's Gillette Stadium now where the Patriots play. Absolutely amazing in concert, was in row 17 directly in front of David Gilmour, best live guitar I ever saw and I've seen Page, Clapton, Joe Perry, Richards and a bunch more. None as clear as Gilmour.
Now that’s how u do a reaction vid u listen, enjoy ,no pausing and commenting , pure music ,get those shoulders moving young lady welcome to the pulse club lol
here´s a tipp: there´s another great version of this song, DAVID GILMOUR LIVE IN POMPEII 2016. that´s 22 years after pulse and it is a joy to see how gilmour matures. he´s 70 in that take and getting better and better like good old wine.
Great video 👍 Love this song, the final guitar solo is just amazing. You seemed a little awe struck after watching this lol....that's to be expected with Pink Floyd 😃 Liked and subscribed for more fun.
Song was one of the last ones written by bassist Rogers Waters before the fude between him and guitarist David Gilmour broke up the band. Song is about a rock star who needs a little medicine to help him play the next show. Written in the 70s. I saw this play live!!!! "Just a little pin prick be there will be no more ahhhhhhh!!"
This is my favorite Pink Floyd reaction by far! Just let the music play react along the way and most importantly...no solo interruption ! Good young lady 👏🙌
Awesome reaction girl 💯👌...I knew you would enjoy that. Next up should be Sorrow from the same concert. Pink Floyd really do touch ya soul. Would really love to see you react to "The Great Gig In The Sky" from A Delicate Sound of Thunder concert. Rachel Fury..Durga McBroom..and Machen Taylor will blow ya away with their amazing voices. 💯🔥
Pink Floyd changed my life. David Gilmour never was a shredder, he never was a technical demonstration guy. his guitar playing is quite simple BUT a guitarist that makes a guitar sound like that, and cry, so much feeling in his notes so much expression so much emotions, and the tone, everything about him is unique. I love that man

Back then, Pink Floyd filled the Earls Court seven times within 14 days always with a day off to check the gigantic equipment and I saw this concert in 1994 in Cologne's soccer stadium, together with 75,000 fans. With my 58 years now I have been to dozens of partly very big concert events but what I was able to experience in Cologne has beaten everything. At that time a good friend of mine lived about 500m as the crow flies and could see the arena directly from his balcony. He later told me that as the block of additions with: Wish you where here, Comfortably Numb and specifically Run like hell - th-cam.com/video/G2n9_AmDTqY/w-d-xo.html was played, the whole stadium looked from the outside like the colorful glittering spaceship at the end of Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" after landing, because the light show could of course be seen from the outside through the distances between lower, middle and upper stand. Until then, Genesis were the absolute specialists for composed light shows for me. After 2 hours of watching it was clear to me that there is probably no more or better. And of course the overall experience of light and sound is inextricably linked. When the sphere was still closed, it rotated and turned the stadium into a huge disco by the spotlights directed at it. When it opened, lasers were directed at it from various positions, reflected by the mirrors on it, which in turn were reflected back by mirrors fixed around the stadium roof and other mirrors distributed around the stadium near the ground, creating indescribable effects. You can't see this on the concert video because they made these setups only in stadiums and really must have been there because it's literally indescribable ! In the preannouncement of the concert it was promised that, regardless of where one´s position in the stadium is, listen to at least stereo if not even quatro. They implemented this advertising promise in such a comprehensive and impressive way that I will never forget this bombastic sound experience together with this indescribable light show. And to this day, when I hear this piece, especially during the guitar solo i get goose bumps all over my body and it leads me to another dimension ! EVERYTIME ❗️❗️❗️👍

First ever song I played on a guitar was Wish you were here 🤙🏾
Still my favourate iconic solo by any band some 39 years after it was album released. Serious soul food music!
I was flooded first hearing this in '79. Each generation has an artist or band that helps define it. This album is one of them. So good to see somebody younger appreciate The Floyd! Peace! Thank you!! You get it!!!!
She didn't interrupt David Gilmour's solo...this girl is dialed in! She's also gorgeous!
I love your facial expressions when you listen to floyd.
the guitar of gilmour is a voice in its own that sings to the soul and spirit in ways that words can never touch or explain
Caught a few of the Earls Court performances. Best gigs I've ever attended.
The Pulse concert is amazing! The entire thing is worth watching. My other favorite song from Pulse is 'Sorrow'. It's super intense. I recommend reacting to that next.
Nice reaction to pink floyd try SORROW and KEEP TALKING from the pulse concert awesome songs
@@Quake120 Sorrow is my favorite Pink Floyd song.
Girl, your Reaction to the 2nd Guitar Solo is awesome!
Greetings from Germany.
Agree with Eleazar. Also from the same 1994 Pulse concert.
SORROW
HIGH HOPES
LEARNING TO FLY
Great reaction, very fun vibe. Keep going...
David gilmour the man who makes grown men cry with a guitar 🎸
Headphones are a must when listening to Pink Floyd. Sarrow from the same concert. 😀🤘👍🔥
ES EL MEJOR SÓLO DE LA HISTORIA,MINUTO 9:32 CONTROLA LAS CUERDAS .....
I loved your reaction. This song touches the soul. Glad you enjoyed it.
"Coming Back to Life."
Great job!!
🙏🏽❤️😎
Dave is the best guitar player ever this solo best ever hes the GOAT qnd miss Jones thanks alot all thou i watch orher channels as well like the vocalist who is awesome u still learninf about pink floyd keep on learninf sofarbu doinf well
David Gilmour does not simply play the guitar. He tells a story with it.
i always say it hhh
The best solo ever by David and yet again love yr smile u are stunning ❤
Headphones are recommended for any Pink Floyd listening experience
I was at the Earl’s Court Pulse concert absolutely brilliant . Over 250 ,000 people saw the show .
There is no better live show than a Pink Floyd show. Saw the wall in 1980 David did this solo standing atop a 60ft wall at The Forum in LA.❤️🙏✌️
😯😯
Pink Floyd is an amazing band. They have a long history. Coming out in 1966 and releasing their first album in 1967. The band has a total of 27 albums which includes 15 studio albums, 3 live albums and 9 compilation albums. Their final one which was titled "The Endless River" was released November 10th 2014.
You've such a gorgeous smile and a buzzy person thanks for sharing a wee bit of your love for The Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb is one of the top 5 songs, followed by numbers 2,3,4,and 5. You just never want David Gilmore's guitar to stop. He is brilliant!!
Best reaction to this I’ve seen. Love it, it’s how it should always be.
Hands down the best guitar 🎸 solo ever 💯💯
You'll never find a better musical performance than this concert anywhere.
I see my self blasted and luckiest guy in the world to be in this show 1994 and 1987, my favorite band and listen to Pink Floyd every day for 40 years
Wow … Amazing
Such an awesome performance this is. After all these years it is still fresh. This remastered material is even better than the Pulse DVD. Enjoyed your reaction!
Lovely to see that genuine smile on your face, this is the only guitar solo that makes me cry..... the guys just a genius.
I love your reaction! This why pink floyd has an entire room in the rock and roll hall of fame
Just purely talented artists at work here, not many can compare…
Delicate Sound of Thunder was the best live performance, but it next to impossible to find on DVD.
Great video 👍
Love this song, the final guitar solo is just amazing.
You seemed a little awe struck after watching this lol....that's to be expected with Pink Floyd 😃
Liked and subscribed for more fun.
Your reaction was a joy to see - thank you! Music doesn’t get much better than that...
Great song and super reaction!
Greatest guitar solo of all time!
absolutely dying at the edited out laugh at 2:11
admit it, it was the way Gilmour says Lips
This is my favorite Pink Floyd reaction by far! Just let the music play react along the way and most importantly...no solo interruption ! Good young lady 👏🙌
Your beauty along with the beauty of the song make for a wonderful experience!
Sólo con lo que hace Gilmour en el segundo 6:38-39) ese sonido de cuerdas ya nos dice la calidad que tiene tocando y es solo 1 segundo
You just witnessed perfection!!!
This song is one of many off the album The Wall, listen to each song and the words it’s one big story of the ultimate demise of a fictional rock star.
Just Love your genuine appreciation for the great music Beautiful young lady!!!
They took down the house with that. Try-Us And Them-from this show. Every song is spectacular from this performance.
I love that man
That, young lady, is Mr David Gilmour the "Shakespeare" of the guitar.
Thank you for your great reaction's! MORE FLOYD!! No, just keep on keepin on like you are. You know good music when you hear it. And, say so!
Gilmour doesn't plug his guitar into an amp....he plugs it into his soul!
No he plugs it into our souls
The Pulse tour is the apex of modern music and performance 🎭 none better imho ❤️
I was there in '94. I can still feel in my soul!
Best Solo ever!!! ❤❤❤
...and to think, Pink Floyd began in 1965. That's 56 Years ago! That's insane!
I was just looking around at different videos since youtube keeps on adding all kinds of new and different videos to my main page and I just happened to come across this page of yours again. And even though I've seen it before, I wanted to see your reaction again. And besides, you're beautiful too. Great Reaction!
Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all-time (by default?) they have so much great music to enjoy plus their live shows are simply the best!! What a solid performance EVERY TIME!!

Great video!! 🔥
David Gilmour: “I just spoke with God and this is what I was told”: Starts playing guitar solo.
one of the best concerts i've ever been to! it's definitely a trip............
Any requests that are featured on the Pulse Concert, gives you lots of extended instrumentals along with the light show and vibe.
“High Hopes” is one the featured songs, which sees David Gilmour (lead guitarist) use an Electric Pedal Steel guitar, which few people have seen, but most have heard.
Absolutely Loved your reaction, and subscribed accordingly.
🙏🏽❤️😎
This re-edit was awsome.
Thanks
This is way better than Live 8. This solo is one the best ever.
I'm 64 and I still love girls who love pink Floyd
The stages…Soooo overwhelming … with joy of course lol!!
You make my day beautiful eyes lady 😎👍 Best band of all times .. ✨ When you can , react to Pink Floyd - Coming back to life ( Pulse concert ) = 3 guitar solo ... 👍✨🎸🎶
🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️😆
You now know WHY this is a Legendary Band .
Song content is a TRUE story about the Founding Bass Player . Roger Waters . He had Adolescent Giantism .
Nerve pressure actually made his Hands feel like Two Balloons as a Child .
And Later as an Adult , in the middle of a Concert . Yes ! The Doctor administered HEROIN to get him through the Show . TRUE STORY .

Wow, Thanks for sharing and watching!
