A masterpiece!

R.I.P., Rick Wright. Over the course of their whole career, Rick was the most laid-back, easygoing member of the band-contributing so much but getting so little recognition for it during his lifetime. He was a bit like the George Harrison of the Floyd. The outro duet between David and Rick is the closest thing I’ve ever heard to pure friendship and goodwill translated into music and shared openly before the world. I understand how Dave could never play such an intimate duet-vocally AND instrumentally-with anyone else. Moistens mi own eye a bit , just listening to them two. I couldn’t imagine being Dave and listening to this now, with Rick having passed.
