Which is the REAL ''Blue Beast''?!? In this video I will review the NEW Amouage Interlude 53 and compare it with Black Iris and The OG (2012 Interlude man). Let me know your thoughts on Amouage and your favorite Amouage fragrance in the comments. Have a great day! *Video Legendado em Portugues* Me diz se voce curte a casa de Oman, Amouage e qual seu perfume predileto nos comentarios.
I own Interlude 53 and for me personally it's a solid 10/10. I could still smell it on my Skin after showering. The Silage is just out of this world. Got up this morning and my Wife literally asked me if I reapplied it because the scent was all over our House. Hands down 🙌🏼 Really good Fragrance.
Long Term use I still think it's awesome but it actually offended people outside. The strong Incense smell has a really churchy vibe to it and not everybody liked it. My wife likes it 😅
@@angelogonzales7945 Mr. Angelo thank you so much for taking the time to help people about this fragrance, my last question to you: does this fragrance get you bored wearing it over the days and months ? because you know there are fragrances that you start to not enjoy them after some period of time using them.
I am wearing the original interlude for the first time and man is this good. This is POWER in a bottle. You really need to up your game and be in control to pull this off. It's uncanny. I can see ancient prophets and kings smelling like this. The smokiness is another level. I wish the Bergamot in the opening lasted longer.
Love your reviews ❤️ we send you love all the way from Oman 🇴🇲 Amouage perfumes are truly unique and the people who own an Amouage perfume are considered rich in Oman😂
I’m glad I tried Interlude Man later on in my fragrance journey because I know I would’ve thought it was horrible. But I have just smelled it for the first time and omg I’m in love! It’s incredible. The overdose of incense and the oregano then followed by the sweet dry down. Bought a full bottle after spraying the sample once
:O Extrait ?? omg. I started my journey to niche with Interlude Man. Sure,I liked perfumes before, but when i smelled the blue beast for the first time, I was in awe,and got hooked instantly. Bought a FB on the spot.
I haven’t tried 53, but I like black iris over the original. Black iris is more easy to wear and better blended, imo the original dries down and smells syrupy and sweet whereas black iris is a little powdery but still smoky.
When heard of the Blue beast as a very daring fragrance I thought that's nothing for me as usually I don't like smoky stuff. However my first experience with smoky fragrance was Kolmaz Arabi Cana which is pure cigarette ash smell, LOL ... so when I first tried the Amouage Interlude Man I was like "WTF are they talking about? This is a really beautifull fragrance" So I assume it's all about expectations. I don't see anything daring in Interlude Man.
I’ve had a decant of the original Interlude for a couple of months and I’m ready to pull the trigger on a full bottle. I wanted to test Black Iris first though, so I got a sample of that which I put it on for the first time yesterday. I was surprised by how similar they are, as I was expecting more pf a variation. I think I would be very happy with either one, but for me the original is just edging out Black Iris at the moment. I found the opening of Black Iris to be slightly (but noticeably) more bitter and acrid in the smoke notes , which sticks around a couple of hours until the mid starts to cool off. During this time, there is a very subtle powderiness from the orris. It’s not that noticeable, and it doesn’t smell at all like ‘makeup’ or ‘lipstick’. The dry down last for a long time, although I find it a bit more subtle than the original. Whereas the original has more of an amber scent, Black Iris is more vanillic. You get subtle suggestions of smoke right through the dry down, which is lovely, and I think I prefer it to the original, but for me, the opening and mid of the original is better, due to the Smokey incense being smoother. I’ll have to wear a couple more times, because my nose tends to develop on most fragrances as I become more familiar with them. Both excellent choices though.
I’ve had the original Interlude Man and it’s been my favorite overall fragrance. I love the brand and have Reflection, Jubilation 25, Journey, and Overture (which I also love). My wife bought the 53 for me a few months ago and I think it’s a little smoother also than the original and I just love it, it lasts forever. It’s expensive for me but my favorite overall fragrance, I’ve told my wife to bury me with it!
Nice! I've been waiting to see a comp of all three. I've only tried the Original and Black Iris. I slightly prefer the Black Iris opening but then I prefer the OG's drydown lol.
Hello good sir, thank you for your work in this video, it is absolutely spot on. Would you please review interlude 53 vs Black Afgano (Nasomatto) ? What are the differences in terms of silage, projection etc? It will be nice to see if these aftershaves have anything in common or if they are two different beasts. Many thanks in advance.
Just got a sample of this it definitely not for me but I understand why they call it the blue beast it’s very unusual I find it has a warm smell to it.
I love the original but I never find a right occasion to wear it because of its strength and insane projection. 53 sounds interesting; my favorite Amouage is probably Beach Hut
I'd like to get the black iris as it's supposedly milder and more wearable but I'm worried about the performance. I enjoy in-your-face, loud and bold perfumes so does the black iris also fit that category?
@@kingbruce8468 I got a decant of the Interlude and I'm going to get a full bottle to wear on a daily basis. It really does last a whole day even though I expected a more powerfull projection according to what people said about it filling rooms with just one spray. I'll try two sprays next time to see if that does the trick.
Max Forti our nr1 choice when it comes to buying a fragrance ! Hey Max I.m trying to decide between Amouage Interlude Man and PDM Layton exclusive ... where I live I can't find them anywhere to try them so it would have to be a blind buy from Notino. I´m interested in which is the better oud fragrance between the two. What would you recommend ?
@@MaxForti ya I thought the opening was different but I couldn't express it I like to think I am all about strong fragrances but this one may have outdid me after wearing for a day
I recently got the original Interlude, the smell of it is INSANELY good. I chose it because it had more of a kick than black iris. As for longevity it doesn't last more than 6-7 hours maximum and hadn't got any compliment yet (covid maybe?) I don't regret buying it at all though as the smell is just So good
Dont buy fragrances for the compliment man, especially not niche fragrances. It also depends on the culture. In my country (Netherlands) people would rather go to hell than compliment you. The only 2 fragrances that have ever gotten me compliments (from strangers) were One Million in 2012 and TF Tobacco Vanille in 2018. They're either lying about compliments on the internet, or the culture just isnt the same. I do get compliments from my family and friends though.

So actually I was thinking that the fragrance isn't about chaos but chaos is used as its juxtaposition and the fragrance is about a pause among the chaos - an interlude - of peaceful meditation

I’ve got Interlude and Interlude Black Iris, and love them both! Amazing scents! I want 53 too, but need to save my pennies.
I ordered a sample of Interlude man. Can you describe how it smells like in detail ?

Great vid, brother! I couldn't handle the oregano note in the original, but I may still give Black Iris a chance because it's toned down in that one.
Thanks Dan, I know - definitely not a mass-appealing scent!

53 is a dream, not as overpowering initially as the original.
Very nice Max! Love the music in the back ground!
Big like to you Max, really great summary of them and I enjoyed your video. Keep them coming, my friend.
