I use parameters when creating families all the time and had never thought of using them like this. What an awesome time saver. Thanks for sharing.
I never hear anything from any other Tutorial in Revit about this. It's great added knowledge.

Very useful (especially here in the UK with Building Regulations for accessibility), where you need minimum dimensions at the "leading edge" of the door. I think this feature will have many uses!
I find all your Video Tutorials very helpful (especially as I'm still learning REVIT due to not using it as much as I'd like!!!)

Pretty great! I learned a couple things... one thought is this is more basic parametric... I think what I had in my mind was the next level after this... That's not a negative criticism. Certainly a great video and quick touch on the topic.

Love it! Never thought of it. Will use it. I use parameters all the time for families, but didn't even realize they were available for projects. I want to make one with a formula to create the golden section on walls. Dang, doesn't work in Revit LT, no global parameters.

Can you please explain parametric linking using a couple of examples?

Do you know if this can this also be applied to 3D AutoCAD models?
Thanks for the video, are walls considered the strongest reference? does revit has a hierarchy on what is a stronger and weaker reference?
We can specify a value for distance between door and wall by using global parameters. but how can we specify a range for these dimensions? How to specify Minimum value or maximum value for dimensions? Can you explain it in a video please?
