In 2-P, he was just a random green unit I had never seen before, so I waited to see if he would do anything/come talk to me, but he just left. I just thought "huh, that's a little weird I guess" and kept playing. Elincia's gambit was a little harder for me than for most people... (Coming straight from 3H, I wasn't aware that missable recruitments were common, especially from the enemy army.)

Everyone here's talking about Elincia's Gambit and the 3-13 archer, can we talk about how epic this song is? This song probably solidified my view that this is the best fire emblem soundtrack of all time.
I really like RD's soundtrack, but it's really damn difficult to stand up to the absolute titan that is the Fates soundtrack. They went all out for it.

Jeffrey Dupont Ik this is kinda late, but to me Hard Mode this map was kinda easier. Idk if it was because Hard Mode made me get used to more strategic advancement, or if I used more units strategically. But it was definitely easier.

@@geenobe9941 Haar isn't invincible and there's enough enemy units down there to kill him if left on his own in Hard mode, especially if you're unlucky with dodges or a Thunder Mage crits. I just play through organically to get the Nullify scroll and energy drop before picking Ludveck off with Calill's Meteor.
Has anyone else ever killed Ludveck using a card with Leanne? My brother and I did it years ago and it's still one of my favorite moments of playing FE10.
Had a friend once who played a FE10 challenge run with the goal of getting the three herons to the top three spots in their army at the end of the game. Involved a lot of kills with those cards, as well as killing off any units that got too many kills on non-heron maps.
I'd love to see a remake of the Tellius games for the Switch. Maybe they could do it by combining both Path of Radiance AND Radiant Dawn into one game, maybe called Fire Emblem: Radiance Saga. They could also add some stuff to it, such as having the portraits just be expression portraits (similar to Awakening, Fates and Echoes), Casual Mode for the players who don't like the permanent death aspect, Memory Prisms that help tell the backstory for the characters (which was first done with Echoes), full voice acting outside the FMVs for at least the main story stuff (similar to Echoes) courtesy of Cup of Tea Productions, and dual supports.
I would definitely love that! I'd prefer a Binding Blade and Genealogy of the Holy War remake first, though, as Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are already in 3D/have voice acted cutscenes, so it'd be cool to see the classic sprite based games with HD sensibilities.
Jordan3D The voice acting was only in the FMVs, and was not acted well (Ike's "Don't leave me! Father!" line when Greil is slain comes to mind). In Awakening and Fates, there were small voice clips during the non FMV story moments, while in Echoes, there was full voice acting in the non FMV moments. Also, I'm saying the Radiance Saga remake could be done down the road, as maybe the Japanese only games probably would get remade first, probably either Binding Blade (Roy's game) or Genealogy of the Holy War, more likely the latter.
The director of Echoes showed interest in remaking Binding Blade, so as long as Echoes did fairly well I think that we can expect that on the Switch in 2020 or so (hell, maybe even 2019 since it's just a remake). After that I can see a Genealogy remake (although Nintendo would censor almost everything). Then I could see either a Tellius remake or a proper Shadow Dragon remake, since people revile the one that we have and I think that IS would like to try to make an actual definitive version of Shadow Dragon.
Jordan3D Hopefully, Nintendo will just stick to 8-4 ltd and Cup of Tea Productions for the localization of future FE games, since they did a better job with Awakening and Echoes than Treehouse and Kris Zimmerman Salter did with Fates. Also, what made people dislike Shadow Dragon?

Man this game was ass but these 2 levels were actually fun. They really are what fire emblem should be in its purest form; movement and terrain management/control. The desert level in part 4 was also great in that respect although it was more attack and evasion focused rather than defensive. It's not form up and wait 30 turns, it's not just mash all the way to the boss, it's actually a big brain strategy game. I'd always thought something was missing from awakening's main story even though it's good already, and this is it. Just a huge endurance marathon
Honestly, apart from the base themes, the FE9 battle preps music and some cutscene themes I don't like the music of the Tellius games that much. It focuses too much on atmosphere for me, and not enough on delivering actually memorable melodies that are good to listen to on their own. It's all just too bland for me, it feels like a collection of sounds rather than actual music. Most of the time it doesn't really come together to form a cohesive whole. THIS SONG IS INSANE THOUGH OH MY GOD
@@fakesmile172 most of FE7'S defend/survive chapters are pretty bad because they're easy. Even ones with alternate objectives like ch. 18 and 31 are pretty easy to get the valuable treasure. And when they're not easy they're RNG-fests you cant do anything about like 28

How to easy 2 turn this chapter. Buy hammer in the previous chapter, give hammer to haar, fly haar down turn one, kill boss turn 2.

As far as I'm concerned, the only competition Radiant Dawn has in FE as the best soundtrack in the series is Genealogy of the Holy War.

i hated these defend chapters D: so slow and my characters were always so weak in comparison to the opposition! maybe i just sucked?
The point of the defense chapters is that your characters are weak. Otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge.

The defense chapters made the stakes seem so real. Probably the best fights in the FE games.
The Dawn Brigade, story-wise, is supposed to be weak. I mean, you're fighting against an army of laguz with Greil Mercenaries backing them up.
