I've always loved Jusis as a character but damn that S craft was what I was waiting for with him. Plus Gaius with that almost primal voice for his was badass
Musse's second S-Craft in Cold Steel 4 really has the Kurumi Persona. As if she stopped time where her victim stood, summoned her history from all angles, opened fire, and delivered the kill with her pistol. Just like Date a Live episode 10.

My favorite S-crafts in TOCS III: Good Guys: *Ash's Belial Raid* (with Gaius's "Howling Heavens" being a close 2nd). Bad Guys: *Normal McBurn's Incandescent Hellfire* (Same favorite as in TOCS II). P.S: I will say *I like the S-Crafts in TOCS II way more* than the ones here in TOCS III IMO.
Even though I love Emma and use her a lot in this 3rd game, I just realized that I never use her S-Craft throughout the game. This is the 1st time I saw her S-Craft animation
The only real time I used it is when Mcburn and Arianrod go into their over limit or whatever modes so I can get the reflect up. Other than that hers is just for that. Her 2nd one from cs2 would have been nice in this one

Gaius, Wazy, and Kevin's Dominion S-Crafts are deliciously overpowered. Kinda makes you wonder how strong the real Thomas Lysander is in battle considering he's commander's second in command, and Rion and Celis are the same in Kuro no Kiseki.
The whole deal about the Stahlritter was always that they were insane when fighting as a trio. They were taught the same techniques Loewe was, thought they are slightly below his abilities.

I like stance she uses at the beginning of Sylphid Dance, the final hit on Shadow Brigade, and all of Lethal Crusade. They could combine them all and it'd be her Ultimate S-Craft.

They fix that in cs4. He says something like it's over and then right after says dragon fall as he's swinging his sword down. This like you said is way too early. Theres too much empty space between where he says dragon fall and then explosion happened here

Well, it's not like they're doing a different technique, just that Victor is stronger, but even so... Maybe the words in Japanese means the same but are different, while in English there's only one way to speak the obvious xD
Yeah it sounds kinda dumb when Victor does it. The words are still coming up and then hes already done. Would have been better if they had him say each word with a pause. Like Radiant....Phoenix....Blade. that way theres no silence
They really should've kept Rean's Ashen Slash Mortal Leaves for CS4, Sean's voice delivery was so amazing for that move. Don't know why the developers reused termination dawn for his ogre form

The only thing I don't like in the S craft on Cold Steel 3&4 it's that Emma have now only Support S Craft. I can understand for Elliot, because he is obviously the healer.
You liked Alisa's S-craft? It's just a glorified Judgment Arrow from CS1. If I'm completely honest they could've done better with Alisa's new S-Crafts cuz both Gabriel Arrow and Radiance Arc (CS2) could've been made better
Honestly I just beat this game and damn did Gaius need a good reason to stay relevant to the story and good thing he got it...now its just Elliot, Machias, and Towa that are pretty irrelevant which is sad cause I kinda liked Machias
Depends on what you look at, when it comes to speed Joshua can effectively flash behind enemies to execute them, but fie can outmanoeuvre them due to how nimble she is
Omega Impulse (Tita - probably since the Orbal Gear is her default weapon, instead of Trails in the Sky where you had to summon it) and Ether Strike (Tio - from what I can gather, it's based off her initial Trails of Azure/Zero S-Craft) were only implemented in CSIV
@@CGInferno Probably because they only appeared briefly in the game. Tio has a bigger part in the story of CSIV and Tita becomes a proper party member (So, that's likely why they waited until that point)
Yeah, Trails of series doesn't have an awesome well done english dub like triple-A games. That's why sometimes I feel some cringe and then I put on Japanese dub.
@@advmx3 I beg to differ. A lot of the cast are A-List VAs and you could recognize them from other big titles. They may sound off due to the direction they were given or the timing required for the lines.
The only one that sounded really bad was and I really hate saying it is Victor's. His is the exact same as Laura's but he does his one handed and instead of saying Phoenix Blade they just make him say Radiant.........blade. theres too much silence in between

I think the only ones I saw were Azure Siegfried, Mcburn's twice, Shirley's, Arianrhod and.....I think Lechter. Only reason I saw Lechter's was cause he joins you on that one mission and I wanted to see it. Oh and Victor's. Though that one was just cause I wanted to see it so I prolonged the fight till he used it lol
Yeah, this game is easy to break. I don't know what they were thinking with battle orders like the one Sara has not to mention plethora of other imbalanced stuff. Once I reached Arianhood no bosses ever took even 1 turn of action except the Dark Dragon because he's a fucking cheater.
@@Firzen8 It's funny, this game started out hard for me--like I was getting a couple game over screens on bosses and even an enemy advantage wrecked me in Isthmia, but after a certain point in chapter 2 it seemed like everything just got cheesable. Spamming Sledgehammer & Wind Blade (and Sara's Brave Order, & occasionally Machias') really does just break the game. Scorpio also breaks the game like crazy, not just because it does extra damage to broken enemies, but the whole thing where you get guaranteed unbalances on broken enemies means that once you have Scorpio, you don't have combat links any more--the second you run into an HP sponge, you just switch links every turn so that whoever has Scorpio on is always the link attack and always Laura/Sara/le Guin/Rean. Why do 2,000-3,500 extra damage with your link attack when you can do 9,000-13,000 with it instead? Because of all this, I don't think I saw a single enemy S-Craft after Shirley's. I got a lot of, "Unscathed," vs bosses because I just used these brave orders & Scorpio & relied on Cold Steel II strats when I thought I might need them--sticking Domination on Laura and Gaius is total overkill if their first move in both cases is an S-Craft on a broken enemy, rocking e.g. Gungnir/Minotauros.
@@evewhoo It works even better if you link the character using the art to someone with auto-charge (preferably II or III), if you luck out you won't even need EP items to kill a boss or two
Arianrhod translation..she said "justice" in japanese, not "this is your end".Just watching dub alone made me have a concern for translation's quality, not gonna replay on ps4 though, just gonna wait for pc port assuming there'll be one.
Everything will be different depending on people takes. Translation has been done pretty well. Not everything this going to be word for word when translating from Japanese

The only thing I don't like in the S craft on Cold Steel 3&4 it's that Emma have now only Support S Craft. I can understand for Elliot, because he is obviously the healer.

It's just a glorified Judgment Arrow from CS1. If I'm completely honest they could've done better with Alisa's new S-Crafts cuz both Gabriel Arrow and Radiance Arc (CS2) could've been made better
Yeah, but on the other hand shield-based S breaks have a history of being broken as hell, so it is pretty much a buff for Emma.
Honestly I just beat this game and damn did Gaius need a good reason to stay relevant to the story and good thing he got it...now its just Elliot, Machias, and Towa that are pretty irrelevant which is sad cause I kinda liked Machias

Depends on what you look at, when it comes to speed
Joshua can effectively flash behind enemies to execute them, but fie can outmanoeuvre them due to how nimble she is

Omega Impulse (Tita - probably since the Orbal Gear is her default weapon, instead of Trails in the Sky where you had to summon it) and Ether Strike (Tio - from what I can gather, it's based off her initial Trails of Azure/Zero S-Craft) were only implemented in CSIV
@@CGInferno Probably because they only appeared briefly in the game. Tio has a bigger part in the story of CSIV and Tita becomes a proper party member (So, that's likely why they waited until that point)

Yeah, Trails of series doesn't have an awesome well done english dub like triple-A games. That's why sometimes I feel some cringe and then I put on Japanese dub.
@@advmx3 I beg to differ. A lot of the cast are A-List VAs and you could recognize them from other big titles. They may sound off due to the direction they were given or the timing required for the lines.
The only one that sounded really bad was and I really hate saying it is Victor's. His is the exact same as Laura's but he does his one handed and instead of saying Phoenix Blade they just make him say Radiant.........blade. theres too much silence in between
The cast is top tier, but the sound quality and mixing aren't the best and half the dialogue isn't even spoken!
@@OTioRean I mean it looks badass and I love victor but that gap and silence when he says his doesnt sound right. Plus why is his different when it's the same technique that Laura uses yet he only says part of it? It makes no sense when it's the exact same thing

I beat them so badly they never got em off.....sadly including "Steel"
I think the only ones I saw were Azure Siegfried, Mcburn's twice, Shirley's, Arianrhod and.....I think Lechter. Only reason I saw Lechter's was cause he joins you on that one mission and I wanted to see it. Oh and Victor's. Though that one was just cause I wanted to see it so I prolonged the fight till he used it lol
Yeah, this game is easy to break. I don't know what they were thinking with battle orders like the one Sara has not to mention plethora of other imbalanced stuff. Once I reached Arianhood no bosses ever took even 1 turn of action except the Dark Dragon because he's a fucking cheater.
@@Firzen8 It's funny, this game started out hard for me--like I was getting a couple game over screens on bosses and even an enemy advantage wrecked me in Isthmia, but after a certain point in chapter 2 it seemed like everything just got cheesable. Spamming Sledgehammer & Wind Blade (and Sara's Brave Order, & occasionally Machias') really does just break the game. Scorpio also breaks the game like crazy, not just because it does extra damage to broken enemies, but the whole thing where you get guaranteed unbalances on broken enemies means that once you have Scorpio, you don't have combat links any more--the second you run into an HP sponge, you just switch links every turn so that whoever has Scorpio on is always the link attack and always Laura/Sara/le Guin/Rean. Why do 2,000-3,500 extra damage with your link attack when you can do 9,000-13,000 with it instead?
Because of all this, I don't think I saw a single enemy S-Craft after Shirley's. I got a lot of, "Unscathed," vs bosses because I just used these brave orders & Scorpio & relied on Cold Steel II strats when I thought I might need them--sticking Domination on Laura and Gaius is total overkill if their first move in both cases is an S-Craft on a broken enemy, rocking e.g. Gungnir/Minotauros.

@@evewhoo It works even better if you link the character using the art to someone with auto-charge (preferably II or III), if you luck out you won't even need EP items to kill a boss or two

Arianrhod translation..she said "justice" in japanese, not "this is your end".Just watching dub alone made me have a concern for translation's quality, not gonna replay on ps4 though, just gonna wait for pc port assuming there'll be one.
Everything will be different depending on people takes. Translation has been done pretty well. Not everything this going to be word for word when translating from Japanese
@@CGInferno It's obvious that with how japanese is you can't translate it word for word, but translation still has to get point across, or at least that's my opinion.
@@DiabolicCrusher Personally the idea that she's delivering "justice" is kind of.... weird to begin with. She's just following her master's command. It's not like her enemies are unjust or heathens. In fact, considering she's fighting a frigging Dominion in the second fight it's downright sacrilegious to claim she's delivering Justice.
@@LeonGun8 Eastern culture derives their form of justice as punishment from heaven, not necessarily because of people doing wrong but those in power deciding what's best for you. This message is lost since Western justice is about law and order,
She literally said this is your/the end (kore de owari desu), they did not include the word you are referring to (seigi) but that would be a weird reason to question the translation's quality.
