- A&Z #1111 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus The Station Hotel's Mighty Kebab Stuffed Chicken Parmo Challenge hosted by The Station Hotel located in Pickering, North Yorkshire, England of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 3-week Scotland Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 4 weeks (1 month) exploring most of the major cities and areas in the northern half of England. During our travels, I attempted 18 English man vs food restaurant challenges. For British food eating challenge event #3, we headed to The Station Hotel in Pickering, England, so we could each attempt one of The Station Hotel's food challenges. I love chicken parmos and I also love lamb kebabs, so I had to try The Station Hotel's Mighty Kebab Stuffed Cheesy Chicken Parmo Challenge which combines my two favorite foods. Because this would be my final parmo challenge of the trip and I was feeling well, I asked for extra again!! I had 40 minutes to feast on three giant breaded and fried chicken breasts smothered with bechamel sauce and 3 types of shredded cheeses. The chicken breasts were stacked and stuffed with lots of locally sourced lamb kebab meat which was also so good!! I had to also finish a bowl of English coleslaw and 1-1.5lbs of freshly cut chips. I was trying to win my £33 British lamb kebab stuffed parmo meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with The Station Hotel Pickering for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks to everyone from around Pickering who came to watch that Thursday evening. The Station Hotel's Mighty Kebab Stuffed Chicken Parmo Challenge in Pickering, England (£33):
- The Station Hotel is next to the train station in beautiful Pickering, North Yorkshire, England.
- The Station Hotel offers lots of different food challenges, including this lamb kebab stuffed cheesy chicken parmo challenge. The base challenge requires brave challengers to feast on two giant breaded and fried chicken breasts smothered with delicious bechamel sauce and three types of shredded cheese - Yellow Cheddar, White Cheddar, and Mozzarella Cheese.
- This was going to be my final parmo challenge of the trip and I was feeling great, so just for fun I added a 3rd chicken breast served parmo style. The Station Hotel didn't have a third large chicken breast, so I just enjoyed two normal-sized chicken fillets.
- This challenge is amazing because in between the parmos, The Station Hotel adds lots of lamb kebab meat from a nearby kebab shop local to the area. To clarify, they didn't have extra lamb kebab meat available for my larger challenge, so my challenge just featured the same amount as the normal base challenge does.
- There is a 40 minute time limit to finish everything, including a bowl of English coleslaw and over 1lb of freshly cut chips. The Carling drank during this video and the bowl of dill flavored garlic mayo were both optional and didn't have to be finished.
- Winners receive the £33 English parmo meal free plus a sweet T-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame!!

Food here can be good too if you exit your radius and support local restaurants using local organic produce
If you are in the USA food here is just as good you probably just don't go to the right places. I don't know if you're realize this but we have people from all over the world living here and there are amazing restaurants all over the place I do DoorDash driving and and I know that there are more places with good food then I will probably ever be able to try.

I worked on their organic farm in Downs, IL that provides their restaurants with fresh organic produce poultry and amazing pork. Literal farm to table and we're just a small city in the Midwest of America. When you look for it you'll find something similar in literally every state. But yes you come here I would gladly cook for you and anyone you bring friend

Bechamel is one of the mother sauces of French cuisine. You can make Alfredo using a bechamel base... just remove the nutmeg and add garlic and parmesan cheese.
Or, add cheddar and chilies for chile con queso.

Great one Randy...Béchamel sauce is called the "Mother Sauce" as it's the base for other sauces and cream gravy's and soups...such as Alfredo, and Chx fried steak gravy.
My years of watching have paid off! I got the trivia correct because I specifically remember one of your old videos when you used to listen to music and hearing you mention "Party in the USA" multiple times lol. Great job as always!

Randy, you are awesome, but just so you know for the future... Bechamel is basically the base for making cream gravies, like for biscuits and gravy, it needs flour. A true Alfredo sauce does not use flour or cream. It uses pasta water, butter, and cheese. The cheese and pasta water together will thicken on its own to create the sauce. I'm not trying to sound snooty, but my husband is a French trained chef, and I picked up a few things from him. Love you and Katina! Happy holidays to you both!

Bechamel sauce is strictly all-purpose flour, milk and butter. There are many different types of white sauces though. I agree that food does look delicious. 😋

Bechamel and Alfredo are not the same...
Bechamel sauce is a simple white sauce and uses only all-purpose flour, milk, and butter, Alfredo sauce is made using heavy cream, butter, garlic, fresh parsley, and parmesan or cream cheese.
My favourite bit was seeing Katina walk out. 🤣

Don't live too far from pickering, it's a lovely place. Donner meat is normally served with garlic and chilli sauce, the meat sometimes comes free with takeaway delivery and is usually bought before going home after a night on the pop. It always seems like a good idea at the time but in reality it's pretty rough. The food on the challenge looked amazing.

The best Bechamel sauce has the milk infused with a Clove studded Onion, and a couple of bay leaves, it's really a two pan sauce if done properly. You will know when you have the real deal, all other incarnations do not taste the same.
Randy is being very generous in calling ‘Carling’ as one of England’s leading beers.
