Really cool! I wasn’t aware of this project but I like what I see. Brings some really cool world building and atmosphere I don’t see in most other world spaces
This looks so good! The location design is just so well-realised, with the overgrown look and the echoes of the Institute. The 14th look like a fascinating faction; the holographic shields, teleporting in turrets. Dare I say it, this is closer to how I believe the Institute should have behaved as a faction. Their weapons as well are really cool looking.
Good eye! While not shown in the gameplay demo (as we wanted to show off a new faction), the Institute does play a role in the story of ABW, so it’s nice to see that their presence is felt even when not directly shown.
This is *incredible* work. I haven't been looking forward to a mod this much since...well, Fallout London, actually. The fact that there are 2 mods of this kind of scale, scope, and storytelling currently in production (possibly 3, considering Fallout Miami) is mind boggling. I'm immediately intrigued by a whole bunch of what we're seeing here. The weird static...holograms? corpses? The funky plasma balls on the back of the custom guns, the funky scanners the 14th were showing...I personally love the high-tech, sci-fi parts of Fallout, and this looks to be both aesthetically and thematically in line with canon. I'm *here for it*. I applaud your choice to show the title characters as morally ambiguous. Making it clear that there aren't easy moral choices to be made, but that you'll seriously have to consider multiple sides in a conflict. The writing in this preview is quite good, and has me both intrigued and excited. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. If this preview is a taste of what's to come, I can only say please keep up the good work.
I'm going to be straight up and say that I've never seen level design this spectacular from a Bethesda game or mod for one. The level design alone has made this an instant download for me when it comes out.
You probably haven't played many mods yet. There are countless quality mods for FO3, FNV, FO4 that are equal to or better than the professional builds.
As someone who loved Far Harbour and wished the base game was more like it, I'm all in for skill checks peppered throughout quests. I'm excited to how this project turns out once I get to play it. Awesome! Little extra note post-posting this: This actually seems more Fallout than Fallout 4. Repulsor fields, scanning devices that emit those nice blue rays. All things that belong in Fallout which Bethesda seemingly forgot about.
The level design here is absolutely beautiful! Whoever you team is, they should be seriously proud of the love they've poured into it! The concepts, the execution, even the lighting and sound were all a breath of beautiful fresh air!
Yep. Adding this to my load order when it releases! This looks leagues better than anything I have seen in a long time. I love all the narrative behind it and I can't wait to explore the locales, getting the bigger picture.
This looks INSANE! The soundtrack sounds really good too! I love how modders are continuously making additional DLC-like content for this, and New Vegas. Cannot wait to play it!
It just takes a while for us to produce videos with our small team, so we try to save the videos for when the updates are the most meaningful. Rest assured we are still hard at work! :)
I’m not usually one to comment on pre-release stuff but I’m extremely impressed with this so far. The world looks gorgeous, the story is compelling, I adore the weapons shown here and on top of that it just seems well polished and executed. I’m also super happy that you reworked the dialogue system to be more in line with the historic fallout format rather than the 4 way system of 4. I look forward to checking this out someday!
No words can describe how amazing this looks like. It has charm, an actual intriging faction, lore and people. It feels like what FO4 should've been, a post-post-apocalypse, where the same dangerous technology is being unearthed, and abused, all over again.
This is looking very cool and very well executed. The dialogue exchange with Dolos was also really well written and engaging. Looking forward to seeing more videos and news!
This is so awesome, I'm most excited for the story! It looks more interesting than even the base game. I also love interactive scripts like the elevator, and the glowing memory people. Reminds me of the Division
Awesome, glad you enjoyed! Our narrative designer is ultra-talented, and in his professional life also works as a narrative designer on Destiny 2. He's really taken our script and story to the next level!
@@ElijahHouck Hold up, a D2 narrative designer? That is honestly, absolutely amazing. It's nice to see the good narrative D2 has is getting shared with the world of fallout.
I don't know how this pass under my radar but I'm glad youtube recommended this. So far, this is amazing. I just joined the discord. Good luck to the team!
So taking into account, i believe you mentioned things are lore friendly, that the 14th has to stop moving to scan; i postulate that to be the visual component they didnt have in Fallout 3 for the mapper Riley’s Rangers give the player to put in they pip boy. Also that is some seriously yummy looking terrain my guy, it’s a spicy scenery! So please keep up the world building and let a fella know when it hits the console scene so i can add it to my mod list
Looks great! Now if I could live long enough to actually play it. Been waiting for Skyblivion, and other projects like this for many years. Keep up the great work.
Out of any of these large scale fallout mods this is the one that straight up feels like a bethesda product, the weapons perfectly fit into the world, the 14th look great and the voice acting is of professional quality. Ill be looking foward to this mod
The music and the sound design of this mod is absolutely excellent - wonderful work on all fronts. Greatly looking forward to the development of this interesting project!
This mod is like a spin off towards the vanilla Fallout 4. I like the narrative of the story and it's kinda interesting and i want to know more about it actually.
Really loving the look of this mod and absolutely can't wait it! One note tho: Dolos' voice might wanna be a little louder for the conversation scene or just a bit more base to it.
Hey there! Thanks for the note. We're planning on doing a re-record of this scene, as Dolos's VA didn't have their voice recording setup fully installed yet. It will definitely have a better mix when it's released!
This looks fantastic! The custom soundtrack in particular is an amazing highlight. Between this and Fallout London, the future of F4 modding looks bright!
This looks really well made so far but if I had one complaint it would be the placement of the key card at 9:35. Basic game design theory teaches you to place key items, even hidden ones, in a spot that naturally draws your eyes to it. If I went into this blind without seeing this demo it would take me an hour to find that card, it's the same exact color as the counter it's sitting on with nothing else there to make it stick out so my first thought would be to kill or pickpocket the guard and then scrape the whole area for containers instead. This is a lesson that's learned in the playtesting stage as a recurring complaint, you won't think about how hard it is to find things like that if you're the guy who put it there. What I would do is change the color of the card to blue or something, put it on the small circular table with a light pointing on it and a trigger for dust to fall from the ceiling to add movement, and maybe even add a skeleton in the chair with a gun on the table to really get the player over there looking for loot and to add backstory for how the card got there. Edit: Like that Repulser at 11:40. You have lighting and big red electrical wires leading you straight to the next stage of the quest and a cool new gun as a reward. Excellent placement there.
Hey hey! Thanks for the lovely feedback. Indeed, as we haven’t started playtests (yet!), this is the sort of stuff that’s easy to overlook. Totally agree that the card color is way too subtle. Ideally it’d even have an emissive texture, like the FO4 keyrings with the little Nuka-Cola Quantum trinket. Anyway, have a good one, and thanks again!
Wow - this is so much beautiful maded MOD what i have seen :) perfect places, perfect story :) i think u can do future games and maybe more MODs like this :) and im so much excited to play this MOD walking in all places and just see everything what u did with your team :) good job very amazing almost DLC :) i love it
I think the first settler dialogue needs a little bit more urgency in it, meaning the conversation probably shouldn't last that long as it takes a player out of the action for a little too long. Also without the tutorial of seeing the player smack the elevator, if a player didn't know that that's they had to do in order to make it move, they probably would have never thought and smacking it with your gun would do anything. Maybe it needs to be some kind of dialogue communicated to the player with a sledgehammer found nearby that unlocks its position.
This looks AMAZING! Seems like something Bethesda themselves would put out. The setting looks really nice, and the story seems really intriguing. Plus the presentation is just phenomenal.
Came here from the Nexus. Didn't know about this mod until I saw the main menu mod xD. From what I have seen, it looks amazing; assets used look very good, world building and level design look solid ((At least what's in this demo)) and the story seems interesting enough. I will definitely try it when it's out. Good luck and hope you finish it soon.
Ok this looks amazing already. I can't wait to check it out whenever it comes out. I wish Bethesda put this kind of love into their atmosphere, because from what y'all have shown its stunning.
Wow this looks awesome. Visuals, sound effects, voice acting and quest are all top notch even at Alpha. Cant wait to play it. Thank you and your team for dedicating your time and effort.
Okay, so the thing you do at 4:41 with the loose panelling was something i really felt was missing the mark in the original FO4. Status checks were largely for useless items, things that really didnt give you an advantage for interacting with. Its nice to see you are working this mechanic in a good way similar to how New Vegas operated with status checks. Good on ya!
Really cool! I wasn’t aware of this project but I like what I see. Brings some really cool world building and atmosphere I don’t see in most other world spaces
Hey I use your mods.
This project looks really unique, can't wait to play it one day!
This looks so good!
The location design is just so well-realised, with the overgrown look and the echoes of the Institute.

The thumbnail gave me Dead Money Vibes and activated my ptsd
WOW. You've convinced me. I don't need to see any more past the puzzle in the entrance to the crypt. I'll get it and try it out.
This is *incredible* work. I haven't been looking forward to a mod this much since...well, Fallout London, actually. Wow, thanks for your kind words! Glad to hear that what we’ve shown off has struck a chord.
You should also look at Fallout Cascadia (Fallout in Seattle), Fallout Hawaii, and although this last one is in the FNV engine, Fallout Nuevo Mexico.
Don't forget about Fallout Cascadia, the oldest of the modding projects for 4 and still going strong.
never forget Fallout: New California AKA Fallout: Brazil
Everyone just forgot Fallout Miami?
I wish more fallout 4 modding was like this instead of tactical stuff.
Same
Agreed
I'm going to be straight up and say that I've never seen level design this spectacular from a Bethesda game or mod for one. The level design alone has made this an instant download for me when it comes out.
You probably haven't played many mods yet. There are countless quality mods for FO3, FNV, FO4 that are equal to or better than the professional builds.
Just looks like Skyrim to me lol
You should look into Enderal for Skyrim then. Its very detailed
You really nailed that "E3 gameplay reveal" style in this video.
The level design here is absolutely beautiful! Whoever you team is, they should be seriously proud of the love they've poured into it! The concepts, the execution, even the lighting and sound were all a breath of beautiful fresh air!
Ayyo what's up man how's your mod project going?
Yep. Adding this to my load order when it releases! This looks leagues better than anything I have seen in a long time. I love all the narrative behind it and I can't wait to explore the locales, getting the bigger picture.
bless the algorithm for bringing me here, this looks awesome
This looks INSANE! The soundtrack sounds really good too!
I love how modders are continuously making additional DLC-like content for this, and New Vegas. Cannot wait to play it!
I’m hyped! I thought it went cold, I’m glad you’re still working on this!
It just takes a while for us to produce videos with our small team, so we try to save the videos for when the updates are the most meaningful. Rest assured we are still hard at work! :)

amazing, i was intrigued
the entire time didn't want to look away extremely exited to get my hands on this

I don't think I've ever been hyped for a mod like I've been hyped for a game before. This is a first.
I don't know how this pass under my radar but I'm glad youtube recommended this. So far, this is amazing. I just joined the discord.
Good luck to the team!
the slow smooth camera movements make me feel like I'm watching an E3 presentation XD
an absolutely stunning presentation at that
looks so beautiful; visually, musically and story wise
OH! MY GOD! How am I just seeing this now?!?! That looks absolutely fuckin AMAZING!!!!!
So taking into account, i believe you mentioned things are lore friendly, that the 14th has to stop moving to scan; i postulate that to be the visual component they didnt have in Fallout 3 for the mapper Riley’s Rangers give the player to put in they pip boy. This mod looks INCREDIBLE!
World, VA, whole nine yards!
Very cool preview! I want to point out that Dolos has a really well designed face! Fallout npcs can look very samey and he looks very unique.
Looks great! Now if I could live long enough to actually play it. Been waiting for Skyblivion, and other projects like this for many years. Keep up the great work.
Iiiiiinteresting. I look forward to seeing where this is going.
This looks incredible. Great worldbuilding and mood.
Out of any of these large scale fallout mods this is the one that straight up feels like a bethesda product, the weapons perfectly fit into the world, the 14th look great and the voice acting is of professional quality. Ill be looking foward to this mod
abbot county looking like a skyrim reference and im here for it
No way. this looks AMAZING, so fucking good I really hope I’ll be able to play this some day
Wow this looks so cool :D can't wait to play your story
The potential of this project is amazing please don’t abandon it I hope to see it at its fullest
Love the ambient/music
Incredible work! Love the environments and your commitment to using quest markers sparingly.
the music is insanely good
Damm this looks amazing just location along looks great it’s nice to see a mod like this that does something unique with fallout
Ooooh new vegas / old trpg style quests with 4s engines sounds good
Always love when surprise modes make an appearance. This looks very interesting and I'm happy to see a world space that isn't completely dead.
This looks real well put together! 😄
Thanks Yannick!
This is why I keep coming back to FO and TES games, quality mods. Don't give up, finish the mod and ignore the non-constructive stupid criticism.
Props to the composer for some gorgeous tunes and spooky atmo that match the original score so well
Looks like you've come a long way since Alton.
incredible world building, level design, atmosphere and general design, good work!
Also really cool to see some immersive sim elements in there
This story has me super interested. I look forward to release!!!
Top tier stuff mate, shaping up really nicely by the looks of things.
This is probably the most beautiful and heart-breaking mod I have seen and feel desired to play.
Finally something original, well made and without lore breaking elements
Really loving the look of this mod and absolutely can't wait it!
One note tho: Dolos' voice might wanna be a little louder for the conversation scene or just a bit more base to it.

Jaw dropping stuff here, what an amazing time we'll have when this gets out. Hats off to the folks working on this mod.
This looks fantastic! I can't wait to try it out once it gets released.
This mod looks great! Really enjoy some of the mechanics introduced. Very much seems like a passion project.
This is marvelous !
Amazing job guys ! ^-^
I cant wait to try this out !
Off topic but this guy is amazing at narrating things
Haha, thanks! I'm new at this whole narration thing, but glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Fallout and Skyrim are having a baby. love it.
I thought this was a Fallout 4 DLC. Great work.

Looks decent. Love the voice acting. Environment is much different then most mods. Hope it doesn't take took long to release....best if luck!
Ooo someone played mass effect 2, but seriously this looks amazing can’t wait
Honestly everything looks gorgeous
Really awesome work
Dude holy shit I remember being a young teen playing your Alton mod for Fallout 3. Happy to see you're still making stuff
Level design looks great
This looks amazing! Keep up the good work!
i remember dj peach cobbler talking about this mod a few years back, it definitely looks way better now
I shall definitely be installing this mod as soon as it's ready.
Love the 'hit it til it works on the lift'.
Shame it didn't go to plan. 🙂
Looks great, keep up the awesome work.
LOOKS SO COOL, its a like a whole new experience. Can't wait!
feels like im watching the release of a whole new fallout game. i love it.
I swear to God, I thought it was an Elder Scrolls mod in Fallout at first
good stuff right here!
Holy!
This is some AAA project world building and environment. Really cool. Wasn't aware of the project, but i'm glad i found out about this one.

wow, it's great to get a fallout video recommendation about a mod I had never heard anything about!
looks great, guys. good job!

Both the level and audio design work together really well here. Its eerie, creepy, ans unnerving.
This is really something Special.

damn what a starting presentation, that overlook of the whole vally sent goosebumps down my back
If only the Bethesda devs knew good world design like you
This is amazing. I don't have a nice pc so I'll prolly never get to play it but I'd def watch a whole playthru. Keep up the great work
this looks absolutly amazing
the narration feels so professional! love it
Looks interesting, I hope someone does a playthrough of this.
Since my fallout has a bad habit of crashing, no matter what I do to get it to work. XD
This looks freaking fantastic!
Finally something with the Enderal approach to things, wonderful work mate, looking forward to it
Man I'm excited for this. It gives off such a dishonored vibe, too, which is another game I absolutely adore. Can't wait to try this!
This looks *awesome* . I don't have Fallout 4, but this mod is actually tempting me to buy the game just to get to play this.
