- Yamaha's 2024 YZ250F has received a host of major changes, primarily around the chassis and ergonomics. Check out our thoughts and changes we made on our initial day with the machine. To check out all the tech specs of what's new, head here: www.vitalmx.co...

If they made this in a 350 I would be heading to get one. There is a very large segment of riders that prefer the 350 platform and don't want to get it from the KTM group. For vets the 250 is not enough and the 450 is just too much. The Japanese are missing out on a lot of sales. I love my KTM350, but I grew up on Honda's and Yamahas.
A YZ350F would be insane. 😤
Whoa thats crazy
@@vitalmxI would buy one 💯
@@vitalmxI’d buy one 💯
Funny you should say 350.. an A rider was at a track and told me he was selling his ktm350 and going back to the yz250f. He said overall the yz was better and the fact he could tune it and made it feel better than his 350..
So excited for this. This will probably be the next bike I get
Have you bought it?
Love it, can’t wait to see what Star Yamaha does to this beast!
I really wish they did that color scheme on the X models also.
Will you do a review on the new 250f with the GYTR kit installed and give us the low down on what you guys think? Is it worth the $? Pro circuit or fmf exhaust? Please
Yes, we will once it’s available.
@@vitalmxwhen will it be available? what will the cost be?
Interesting that MXA said they noticed a loss in bottom end but both SWAP and Michael say the engine is better. Thoughts on this ? Maybe it’s just subtle ?
because josh moans about everything 😂
Very subtle, airbox related primarily. - ML
@@vitalmx awesome. Thanks man !
mosiman actually rode back to back…how testing would need to be done to compare. The airbox to get top would usually trade some bottom. The difference will likely be small - he was able to able ride back and forth to nit pick it
@@harryaustin9223just not KTM even if it’s crap..
When is the Shootout?!? 😮
I have a 2002 yz250f….I can’t deicide if I should get a 2023 or 2024 yz250f after this video…
I’d wait till there’s more reviews on the 24 from guys that are more c level to b level these guys always have something to complain about. I have a 2023 yz250f and absolutely love it. But every brand and bike has its issues. But likley can’t go wrong either way.
19-2023 have timing chain premature failure and 3rd gear on the transmission will fail just Google it.
@@johnb2019 this is only at the highest level of the sport my guy if your truly a level or pro this may happen but to the average Jo this doesn’t happen
Wow look so good bruhhhhh
Question for Mike Lindsey can you find out the changes the race teams do to there bikes because the teams always increase the compression ratio
& custom made cams
Will there be a G.Y.T.R KIT for the 24 model
With your money what 250 f would you buy?
There will be a GYTR kit for the 250, full head, cams, piston and ECU like prior years - ML
Great job on video
I ordered mine been waiting for 3 weeks I live in Orlando
It'll probably be a couple more weeks.
@@vitalmxI figured that there was only one in the store I went too and it was sold that person must’ve pre ordered it when they dropped thank you
Excelente rutina😊😊me encanto
MXA rides 23 and 24 back to back and said something a lot different
Ya I don’t listen mxa.. he’s hated on Yamaha for years even when they were winning shootouts! I’ve watched 3 other channel’s saying good things. When mxa talked crap about previous years I rode them and they were completely fine and turned way better than what he said. He also said the phone app tune was stupid as well. Yet it only takes a few seconds 😂
@@mxr248 They hate it so much they said the 23 250f was the best bike on the market last year, in their shoutout
I like MXA but they are extremely opinionated on bike tests and they think their opinion is the holy grail.
@@bradpowell843they speak the truth. That's not being opinionated
I trust MXA the most for bike tests and shootouts
I need one
I heard the release is delayed in Europe due to engine issues. Of course, that's from KTM guys. Is that BS?
I’d say it’s bs, there’s been no real engine change outside of the cam chain update. Bike are heading to dealers in the next couple weeks.
with the heavier cam chain and it being stronger there has to be some power loss
Other tests have said they felt the power loss coming out of corners and the 2nd gear wasn't very usable on this new one and that they had to shift to 3rd right away.
My mom buy this one sooN
Looks like a classic Mugen Honda. Yammie needs to stay Blue or Yellow
Lindsay getting a little chunky tubb tubb bud
Sadly I been losing weight, I was worse ha.
"For most Joe Blows," very nice ML512! Nice to know what you think of your audience, your arrogance never ceases to amaze me!
I am also a Joe blow / weekend warrior sooooo… - ML
@@vitalmx Sure you are!
Stop looking to other people for affirmation. The only opinion that matters to your self esteem is your own. If you’re triggered that someone says they don’t have a dad bod and when someone uses the euphemism Joe blow it probably means your a fat loser in denial. Change your diet, do some cardio and achieve some personal goals if you’d like to fix this insecurity. Best of luck.
@lostcoastliquid3490 Hhhmmmm, you sure seemed triggered by my remarks, but I will clarify some things for you. I'm mid fifties, I don't have a "dad bod" I make 7 figures a year and can afford anything I want. What I'm referring to is I feel it's disrespectful to call viewers "joe blows" because the consumers keep this sport alive. Maybe you should go back to school and try to achieve some insight because you sound like a ignorant fool!
