Thanks. Free, but perhaps one could say there's still a paywall or a hurdle. At the Playground interface , I get: "You don't have any API credits. (next line)You'll need to set up billing before you can use the playground. (next line)Finish account setup ->
This video is 7 days old, but already it seems out of date. wasn't able to follow along past clicking playground. no prompt generator from what i could see.
Thanks for posting video! When I go to "Chat" in "Playgound" in the middle of the screen it says "You don't have any API credits. You'll need to set up billing before you can use playground. They said for o1, a detailed prompt that doesnt spin instructions around, isnt too complex and is much more direct, are better for it specficially. That does not mean you cannot improve prompts given to it, for example they also recommended separating sections of your prompt, like so: (any knowledge or info it should know, or a file or code snippet etc) (what you want it to do) This is from their article on how to prompt o1.
@@SkillLeapAI Mine works flawlessly, I have an app called SideKicks AI which allows users to create their own SideKicks with instructions, the prompt engineer I created allows them to generate system prompts easily and then use them for their SideKicks. It really depends on the use case. With more basic prompts like summaries and blog writing, the results are going to be close. But for much more advanced tasks, it make a very noticeable difference.

As I spin around on this little rock, I can't help but wonder what people will find this feature useful for. Thank you for rousing my curiosity. 👍

Looks like you have to setup a billing account & deposit a minimum of $10 to even see this feature as of 10/12. Thanks for the info though!
Thanks! Very helpful. Love your content!
Thanks!
Thank you
One needs to set up a billing method before one can utilize the playground. No mention of cost or lack thereof to play with the prompt generator.
Very informative and useful for Advanced OpenAI ChatGPT users. Thank you very much!
Very helpful. Thank you so much.
Just so you know, I did try the real-time option. I must have used it for like a minute or so, and it costed $9.61 US. Very expensive.
Oh wow that’s very expensive
$100 per 1M input tokens, $200 for 1M output tokens (audio) is crazy.
@@SkillLeapAI Maybe you warn people about the costs in the description and /or video title?
Yeah, used it for 2 prompts, like 10 seconds, costed 3 dollars lol.
@@Joooooooooooosh ouf
Great content as usual. Thank you for an awesome channel. Keep up the great work. ❤❤😊😊❤❤

I ran into the same issue but didn't look around much to see if there was a way around it - I ended up just adding a card and doing the minimum of $5
@@tlmonk3414 Did it use a lot of credits though? How much of the $5 did you still have after testing this?
When they released o1 didn't they say simple converstaional prompts work better than complex ones

It does not work have to pay
Great video, Great content, Go On
I created my own prompt engineer using Claude for one of my apps and it does exactly the same thing. I will try doing the same using Open AI.
Yea I have a similar one as a GPT and sometimes it fails

Great tip! But I am only seeing GPT 4o-mini and not model 4o, which I prefer and see you're using. Any suggestions on enabling it?
Great information, thanks! any chance you have any suggestions for creating Chatbots for Tools like PickAxe?
thank you so much🥰
well that was short lived. No longer free.
Great, thank you👍
well as far as i have used to use playground we need to pay as i uses api
Is there any chance you could explain how to fix the issue where ChatGPT is telling us to upgrade to Pro even though we're already upgraded?
thank you you are the best
In my case I found only 6 models there. You here have tons of them.
What's the difference from asking GPT to create a prompt for something specific then feed it back?
Very useful thanks! Btw how much are pennies worth these days?
Ask chatgpt lol
I don’t remember the last time I said pennies out loud. Felt weird
Interesting, thanks you
Thank you for sharing ❤
You're welcome
what happens if you input the generated prompt, back to the prompt generator? woult it get better, sharper... cluttered?
Good to know, thanks!
How is Chat GPT on generating prompts for himself? Can I ask him to generate and then use it in a new chat session?
To clarify, it costs above and beyond just paying for chat gpt?
Yea the platform website is separate.
another greeat insight
Gpts are not equal to prompting directly on the gpt4o chat.
I think they are a bit weaker
Why do you say that?
unfortunately it as a time usage limit :-(
you also need to pay a minimum of 5$ just to sign up to OpenAi's playground
Really useful or epic? 🤔
Curious (pls help me :) how is this better than say, using reverse prompting to improve the user version of the prompt?
You can get similar results with a prompt or a custom gpt. This is just much easier and doesn’t require advance prompting knowledge
@@SkillLeapAI thank you very much for clarifying
I am trying to test it, and not having options higher then GPT-4 mini
My interface 2 weeks later is not at all like yours :(((((( things change so fast . . I have the paid version FYI . . .
I wasn't showing the ChatGPT website in this video. here is the link I was using. platform.openai.com/playground/chat?models=gpt-4o
Is this availible in the EU currently? I don't see that option currently 😢
Yes, it’s available in EU. Just follow the steps and you will find it
@@aymanbrkt I found it! thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Useful info.
bro,you look so handsome like a baseball player
Is it a free API to use in any project?
when I press playground and are logged in it says: You don't have any API credits
You'll need to set up billing before you can use the playground.?
Because it wants to link what you input to the permanant database assocated with everthing about you.
Why does it always reply to me with a code? Did I miss something? Or did they change something?
what is the cost when you use the realtime for 30 minutes?
On the iPhone app, it’s part of the plus membership. I haven’t used it on this platform yet so not sure the cost
Just so you know, I did try the real-time option. I must have used it for like a minute or so, and it costed $9.61 US. Very expensive.
Love this
Misleading. It's not free, you have to set up billing before using it.
Didn’t work for me. Looks like you have to pay.
you cant blueball us like that, if you say something hype worthy like how you audio chat with it, then you gotta show a little of that dude
The promps look nice, but the output that ChatGPT gives is almost the same as would I prompt it myself, nice gadget but basically useless.
