Yep, the trail into Wyman Canyon starts off HWY 168 and heads west. After camping by the creek overnight, the following morning we continued west through the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest and down Silver Canyon Road (a pretty spectacular descent itself, with amazing views of the Sierras), which dropped us into Bishop.
Love it. I've done that run twice from Bishop via Silver. Can't wait to do it again in spring when the water's high.
