Hey guys! The reason Eren's titan form is skinny as hell is probably because hes training his ass off! Remember s1? When he's assigned to Levi nd afterwards they start training so Eren doesn't lose control nd Levi wasn't giving him a break which led to Eren being tired as hell which led to his titan getting skinnier and smaller! Im also gussing he's probably training the hardened ability since it was mentioned.
If this season has chapter 90, then yall in for a treat

I'm guessing that there's a political side to this season, it's probably that the central government has found out that Eren was a titan and decided to either investigate, or even eliminate the scouts.
And I'm pretty sure the skinny Eren's titan is when they are training with him, and seeing how many times Eren can transform in a day
