Honestly, do you have any idea how smart you are? I’m so impressed with how easily you pull all this information about these product ingredients and easily educate us. Thank you so much for doing this. You are awesome!
They have several products online. The price is a little higher than in store since it includes shipping, but it’s still lower than other places. You can wait until it’s on sale.
I have never used much of any korean skin care products before but after my trip to Korea this year, I went to Olive Young which is a cosmetic drug store and bought different kinds of best seller brand skin care products recommended from bloggers, I have only used it for a month and already seeing better results !!!!! I can’t wait to explore more best sellers !!!
The fragranced soaps can aggravate people with allergies too . The Dr Bronner's have an Unscented Castile liquid and bar soap that is very nice - I use this to clean my makeup brushes every week.
It's nice to see Costco bringing in some new skin care. On sale and Dr Dray approved... yes please!! Thanks for showing us what's new, Dr Dray. Happy Friday!! I hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a wonderful weekend. 💖
The Olay Retinol has below 0.3% Retinol in it. It passed all the UK amounts allowed. Even though they don’t tell you how much is in there. It might be good for beginners, but to me it is way overpriced for under 0.3%
Avene is supposed to be really good, and I’ve also seen Naturium’s retinals mentioned a fair amount. There are 2 strengths, each around $30. Remedy also has three retinoid formulas with a lot of good ingredients.
After giving up fragrance in moat things i rediscovered Bath and Body works hand soaps again. Gives me ao much pleasure to have that little scent. And surprisingly they dont dey out my hands like many other liquid soaps do. They dont add moisture at all but dont make my hands awful.
I’m a 90s babe and grew up in Asia. That cream excellent by Kose was so popular back in the 90s and 2000s in lots of Asian countries. It was said to brighten your skin tone, the toner from same line was also extremely popular back then. I used it when I was in middle school, it smelt like it contains alcohol and my dry skin didn’t like it very much.
Just got the Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence and Mediheal Collagen Ampoule Pads as a gift, and it’s great to know that I can get them at Costco if I fall in love with them and run out! Thank you Dr. Dray! 🫶❤️
Thank you for all of the informative videos! I love how you break down all the ingredients and how they affect the skin. You are a teacher for all, and knowledge is the foundation of society. I love all of your videos ❤
Sorry to hear about that. That is not true for me though. I bought a set of three Torriden lip balms in Korea for about 6 euros. It is the best lip balm I have ever used, way superior to Cerave’s ointment.
This is fun. Thanks Dr Dray. I think these videos might be more helpful if you included a label, a tag, a skin care step for each product: when it is to be used.,This would categorize each product before you start reading the ingredients to us. Sort of like Paula’s choice does: here’s a product for Step 1; or ‘here’s another moisturizer’, which is to be used after steps 1,2 & 3. Otherwise these videos start to blend all together into one HUGE ingredient list and sometimes I have no idea what in the world something you are reading the ingredients list of should be used for. There is only a need for a few products, right? I know you do this categorization sometimes, but it would help some of us to climb out of the weeds more if there was a clear category or step for each product you are talking about. I hope this makes some sense.
Which is better for long term treatment and management of hyperpigmentation: cysteamine or 20% azelaic acid? One cannot use triple combination therapy forever. Does cysteamine or azelaic acid have anti cancer properties?
I have been using the Kose Sekkisei Brightening Essence and cream… It’s nice however, you can actually smell the alcohol tinge to it … but regardless it’s non drying.. I love it ❤
How fun! We are headed to Costco later today, not that I need any skincare, just water, eggs, steaks for this weekend. Why is bean such a big ingredient in skincare? I don't eat legumes of any type, especially not soy. Is it even something we should use on the skin? Great tip about hyaluronic acid on the lips under a barrier such as Vaseline. Think I will pass on the lip masks. AmLactin!! Yes!!! I use a bottle a month now. LOVE this product (not on face). My legs are so smooth and do not itch!! I don't bring Dr. Bronner products into the house anymore because the packaging has so many bizarre heretical ravings on it. I just can't. It's ZOTE soap for me forever. The hand soaps smell great and are cute but I am OK with a bar of ZOTE. Now I have a whole shelf of unopened soap I need to donate because everything except ZOTE makes me itch, including body washes.
That Round Lab Dokdo Toner set, is a GREAT deal, its wonderful right after cleansing, whilst damp, and immediately applying actives. I am surprised its there!!! Just moved after 10 years, from my homeland of PR to my hometown of Manhattan. The only Costco we have here is way up in Spanish Harlem, sadly, so its not realistic for me to go on a regular basis anymore 😢 but great video!
As a Korean, I have dabbled in some Korean products and the results are pretty disappointing overall. The Cosrx nail mucin serum is such a gimmick/curio and really does nothing for the skin. I have dabbled in lots of different legacy brands and some of the specialty brands over the years and I have to say that the only product that I will definitely buy again and again is the Origins Megamushroom relief and resilience fortifying emulsion. It is the only skincare product that I use and think, wow, this stuff is really making a difference.
I’ve been using Regaine men’s 5% for about 4 months now, lots of new baby hairs and positive results but no hair fall? Isn’t hair supposed to fall by 3 months? ❤❤❤
@zgts4u Isn't that a good thing? I would be excited if my hair stopped shedding. Perhaps you can cut down the frequency of applying Rogaine if you prefer seeing some hair shedding.
@@JENNIFERLE2012 thanks for responding, I’ve been using for 4 months and have no shedding what so ever! Isn’t the old hair supposed to fall out and new stronger and thicker hair grow?
I’m so glad you made this video! You go to my Costco and I was planning on going today to see if they had the packs of 24 Biodance masks!!! I guess I can skip! Maybe order online 🤪
I used to use Kose a lot when I was at college in Tokyo in the late 80's !! They now own Tarte cosmetics .Kose used to make excellent skin care products ,one of 'em is that one you showed in this video ! My mom's favourite as well ! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
None of the Korean skincare products are at my Costco warehouse stored yet. The K-beauty lip balm yes & Seikisi cream too. I'm in the Chicago-land area.
Dr. Dray - I appreciate you so much, and I really like your Costco skincare reviews. But my Costco in Michigan only has one quarter of the products you review 😢 Michigan Girls need skincare too!
Isn't it better to pour the toner into a spray bottle (sanitize the bottle first that goes without saying) in order to save wasting product and put the sufficient amount on the skin 😊. Thanks Doctor Andrea for taking us with you in Costco ❤.
Can sunscreen be used over products with petroleum in them? I think I might of previously posted this question, I appreciate for the redundancy, I just have wanted to know the answer to this for years lol.
I haven’t noticed it irritating my skin at all, but it is noticeable if it gets in your eyes. Not bad though. It doesn’t burn or make your eyes red or teary or anything.
Hi Dr. Dray! I have a question not related to this video: I’ve seen a tiktok where a girl uses VT reedle shot on her scalp saying it helps with hair growth. What do you think? Is it possible? Thanks 🙏🏻❤
I hate how the bargain brands that are actually good products always have the worst fragrances. The hydro boost moisturizer gel would be awesome if it didnt smell like a tween. Lol

i would be so excited to see k-beauty at my costco. i check every time, but nothing. i'm jealous!
Costco has Most Inc where they sell their k-beauty online!
Same here
They have several products online. The price is a little higher than in store since it includes shipping, but it’s still lower than other places. You can wait until it’s on sale.
Hopefully the price doesn't go up there usually so much cheaper ordering from korean sites.

I tried the Torriden lip balm, but it seemed a little drying, and not as good as vaseline. It was expensive too.

I love torriden! But I’m more a fan of their solid in line rather than the HA dive in one.
The gel serum ceramide product is so nice 😊

i put all my toners in spay/mist bottles!
I like pump bottles so it’s easier to control the amount. Plus the extra just gets rubbed into my hands
Pat it in w clean hands, mist not enough imo!
That expensive Kose moisturizer looks like Sekkisei branding. Sekkisei is generally a pretty expensive Japanese brand!
Love our trips to Costco, thank you! Have a great weekend!❤️
My hot take is that niacinamide sensitivity doesn’t exist and it just people not using products properly or another ingredient causing problems
Can sunscreen be used over products with petroleum in them?
I think I might of previously posted this question, I appreciate for the redundancy, I just have wanted to know the answer to this for years lol.
No. No ingredient exists thats more occlusive than petrolatum. None. Sunscreen last, before any and all topicals and cosmetics (makeup).
Does the sea salt in the round lab dokdo toner make it irritating for the skin?
I haven’t noticed it irritating my skin at all, but it is noticeable if it gets in your eyes. Not bad though. It doesn’t burn or make your eyes red or teary or anything.

@@missbry7 Torriden SOLID IN Lip Essence
@@missbry7 Torriden solid in lip essence
What about all the chemicals in these products? Cancer causing?
Sad my Costco doesn’t have the glowiest lip trio.
Has the Olay retinol worked for someone here? Im looking for something that helps fade some of my sun spots hyperpigmentation too
A little. I tried it when I was starting retinols but I had much better results with adapalene and of course tret.
@ thank you for sharing your experience. 🙂
I’m surprised you’re looking at all of the scented lotions and washes. Peppermint oil is disastrous for skin.
Canadian Costco doesn’t have so much kbeauty and Jbeauty products 😢
Dr Dray you still call peptides as humectants, others call them collagen buildlrs
She doesn’t believe there’s good evidence for that. That’s why she says humectants. She’s doubtful of the collagen building claims
The Costco Next has both Japanese and Korean skincare / makeup …
Why no best of 2024 yet?
I love Costco ❤
awesome

hand soap is VERY drying.
I hate how the bargain brands that are actually good products always have the worst fragrances. The hydro boost moisturizer gel would be awesome if it didnt smell like a tween. Lol
