I done a slinger course a month ago, got a job on a site in Southampton, turns out I need a supervisor ticket. I'm booked on the supervisor course tomorrow. In 5 days I'm back on site with no experience as a slinger, no experience as a supervisor. Good thing I can take away from it is , that I got a day's work before they told me I needed a supervisor ticket and they were super happy with me, hence how I'm back in on he 9th. Plus, it's a quiet site, thank god. I paid for both tickets myself and should be able to get my blue tickets as I have until December on this job
@@Mark.Claughton Wow, they should have told you before you started with them, eh. Still, never mind, you're booked up now. However, it's always advisable to get some experience as a slinger before becoming a supervisor. Supervisors get put under a lot of pressure sometimes, so you need to know the job first really. Still, best of luck with the course, mate. It's something else under your belt. Let me know how you get on.
