Gutted you are leaving the game and wishing you all the best. I think I would have quit a long while back without your content. Couldn’t agree more with this video - SP heroes have trashed the game and no regular source of astral tickets without spending big bucks is a ridiculous situation. Why didn’t they put some in the monthly and weekly passes at least?
This should have been the time they announced catch up mechanisms, but alas
I quit when Korraxia was the SP. Glad I did considering this is how the game turned out :(

I concur man, the introduction and evolution of SPs appears to be more driven by a financial analyst presuming no change in behavior by the whales & dolphins rather than someone that thinks about it holistically. I have not spent on EE since the holiday pack and am waiting for the next casual/time respecting game (my spidey sense is telling me that Eternal Evolution has already jumped the shark). I hope that you plan to maintain the channel and callout the next game that looks interesting. Thank you for all that you have done from a theory-crafting and build recommendation perspective!

I quit the game 1 month ago now and the reason why was the merge and also the game was going more into p2w route. The merge was needed yes, but they heavily and badly implemented it. What I mean is it makes no sense to play against oldest servers... ( In my case I was in 135 and the cluster was starting to 70 ). And also the sp heroes killed the game like you said. I was a whale back in june when I started and a stopped to spend around september when they started to plan more SP heroes after Koraxia.
The game had a very good potential at the beginning, but sadly the devs got more and more money hungry. They are killing their game so Its time to find a new one Dylarr.
It was a nice ride and I hope you will find a new game. You were my my primary source of informations to progress in EE and thank you for all your videos and your spreadsheet!
I'm done with mobile games because I have spend too much for my taste ( 2.3k CAD ). I'm going back to pc games they are way cheaper.. maybe you should consider joining it. Helldivers 2 or Last Epoch could be good for your channel. I know you were doing alot of theorycrafting build in EE... And Last Epoch has so much potential to do the same so you should consider it.

the immo 5 idea for getting SPs sounds great! as someone who loves focusing summoners i would 100% get all my summoners immo 5 to get a potential SP at a faster rate. as it is right now you either go for one copy for extra endless battle points, or just ignore the rest and spend months and months building an SP that will be irrelevant by the time you build them

I think it wouldn't hurt for the developers to also make another exotic expedition but the bosses would be the SP heroes, and whoever did the most damage would win fragments of them every week, at least 1 copy per month, because that way in 8 months you would at least have them complete but they don't care
100% agree, there are plenty if easy ways to distribute sp resources.
The highest damage dealers are the ones who have the SP heroes …
@@Juggz-00t obviously SP heroes would not be allowed on the team, it would not make sense, the krakens would continue to be first if that were the case
i play everyday and i didnt even care to learn or memorize the name of the vanguard sp. but now i guess i'll remember it cause i saw this video haha

I agree. I've been a big defender of EE but it's getting harder to do that. I spend a fairly decent amount and only got a mythic Kora. No pieces of the other two. It's annoying for sure.
I like almost every other aspect of this game minus SP's and a few nit picks.
100% agree. I left the game this week due to rl matters, but I was already in the same opinion of how badly SP heroes have disrupted the game. Sad to see the end of my time in this game, but after investing so much money into it, I still feel a clean break is needed due to the SP impact on this game. Thanks for all your efforts Dylarr. Played SWGoH for 2 years. It was such a time suck. But at least you could get everything eventually. I’m a F2P and I’m enjoying EE. I like the minimal daily grind, but you’re right on the SP issue.

I'm from SEA52, I've been playing this game over a year. As the time I started to play, EE dev was so nice. They listeen to the player's feedback. As time goes by they've changed, as if they were trying to earn as much as money before they close. I'm sad that they stop listen to us.
Theyre gearing up for the next game.
I'm VIP14 and still don't have max Kora. Don't have any copies of Artemis or Heimdall. Once Kora dropped, that is around the time I greatly reduced my spending. Then there are also the suggestions I posted in the official EE discord because Regular and Galactic Arena need to rework the rewards. The triangle also needs to have more stages added for the rest of the dungeons.

the awakened heroes should have the same potential as a geroi SP because they have the fifth passive, etc., but I think that one day they will obviously launch 10 more levels in the heroes' passive and then they will match it, but obviously the developers want money, and not The day this system comes in, if you mess up, the SP heroes will go to SP+

Sorry to see you leave. Couldnt agree more with what you said here. Problem is devs does not seem to take feedback seriously and they have no visible roadmap. As a somewhat regular spender I've just been spending less and less amplifying what you've said. They are boycotting themselves and hurting the players at the same time

oh man i'm sad now. I just started 2 weeks ago as a F2P after watching one of your videos on the game ! sad to see you go. what games would you recommend for a F2P with perhaps a guaranteed hour or two a day to play and most weekdays 4ish hours and weekends most of the day(no life!)? I've only played Raid, Awaken:Chaos Era and Watcher of Realms. Mobile or PC games are fine, just like Gachas
Currently the only games that I am playing for fun is Palworld and Helldivers 2

My thoughts... are exactly everything you said. I am not a huge spender in the game but what I did put in is going to go to waste when this game crashes which blows. And the increasingly bad decisions kept me from spending more. I know I'm not the only one. Bad business.

The whales on my server all started to dip when Artemis came out. At this point there are only a handful of players who compete in events, and it takes zero spending.

Couldn't agree more and it's really unfortunate for all of us that you're leaving the game. It's feeling more and more cash-grabby than long-term playable. Not sure what data they have that shows lowering event rewards (Christmas vs January gift boxes) and increasing paywalls (SP heroes and their gated protos) increases overall spending but it sure feels bad as a player.
I think that they are cash grabbing before releasing Star Zone 52
I will say, your idea for the imm5 pathway to an SP is awesome it's a straight gamer idea that makes too much sense.
However, devs for these type of addictive pay2progress/pay2win games, don't care for that.
Similar thing surrounded a game called Evony: Kings return. They sell armor sets called Civilization Gear, and it costs 6k USD to get the full 6 piece set. Insane kraken only method.
Player base and the most popular streamer for that game, went on dev calls, on suggestion type of "meetings" with the devs, to implement civ gear fragment pieces into the game, by allowing players to farm really high level bosses for a chance* to get shards to eventually build civ pieces without spending thousands.
Devs shut down that idea instantly. Because once people are super addicted, they don't care they'll keep spending to stay at the top/relevant. And those are who the devs focus on catering the game to.

@@dylarrstwilektactics mobile game industry is a cesspool. It's the only community where p2w tactics are "accepted". Frowned upon, but accepted.
Competitive PC/Console games, like first person shooters, battle royals, etc... if a game introduces even the smallest p2w thing, like a weapon skin that adds 5% damage for the pride of 5$... The whole community goes up in flames and there would be Soo much backlash towards the devs, the devs don't even want to test it 😂
The other thing I'd change is remove the crap rewards in the Astral ticket pulls. Why are blue heroes in the reward pool? Astral Tickets should give only VERY good rewards, and they need to decrease it to be 1 SP roughly per 100pulls. I do really like the idea of unlocking a boss if you have a full team of 5 Immo 5 Lvl120 or something.

@@dylarrstwilektactics there is 40 astrals from hell arena. This way i get kora and now i hav 50 art shards but it takes me 2-3 months for 1 copy
I'm a whale at least and I can't keep up with SP, I'm 2 copies away from finishing my Artemis and I literally don't believe these game is growing like at all and I don't even believe I should be spending trying to get these new unit because these game doesn't seem like is lasting much longer.

SP System is fine when, AND ONLY WHEN, everyone is kinda able to get them! With the speed of releases it's impossible to build SP's. Cause when you finally get the FIRST copy of a SP the new one gets released.. this is so antifun! I am even VIP 9. I mean that's not alot but i am not F2P either. It hurts me to see, that the game i love the most for like a year does this dirty to me.
Game will not be the same without Dylarr.. i might even consider quitting cause he was my ''gaming buddy''. The one i could ''talk'' with about the game. Even if he only talked to me and i almost never talked to him. :P
U kept me going on with the game when it got boring.. when we had no changes and the P2W rocket launched up in the sky..

Maybe cuz your server is older, less SP lol. But my ascension arena bracket, the top 3 of 4 people all had 3 Sp, and 98% of their roster was imm5.

"causing f2p to quit" bro not f2p player in their minds believes they can stand a chance against a whale. Most whales on my server had maxeds out SSS units before SP, I already know I'm not supposed to win against those teams,, now they have SP -- big whooop, deal with it.

Spoiler alert, i am a f2p and i beat p2w in almost everything: expedition, twilight lands, some endless battle, all except pvp so is not impposible, but with the sp system is getting harder and harder to catch up
@@migueldavidfernandezmoreir6232same here. F2p on my server and I beat the whales in all PvE content (either 1st or 2nd). The whales now spend a lot less after SP got released. And because of that, I-m catching up in PvP. Still, SP heroes are a giant mess and if the devs don't resolve it in time, this game will fall off exponentially.

I think the developers overlook that aspect.

I hated that they put this same system into the EVA draw event, giving rubbish to players like blue or elite level heroes. Astral mirror should give a copy of the SP hero every 60 shots like any other banner, which would take 480 tickets to complete 1 SP hero, which wouldn't be absurd as it is nowadays, and over time a F2P player will play in the infernal arena right and buying the tickets in the store, he would at least be able to keep up with the krakens more slowly, because even the events these heroes are getting in the way, whether due to the bonus damage and their fighting potential, heimdall deals twice as much damage as a clarion in the store. vanguard team, artemis is an aberration compared to other shooters in terms of damage, the best is rebbeca almost keeping up but still behind, koraxia is the same aberration as always, that absurd damage, so even the free events of the game the F2P won't but being able to play, I'm in 7th place, I don't know how I don't have any SP heroes or those red ticket trophies, when these players stop supporting this system, they'll change that overnight because their money factory is gone, and now there's this hero awakening system, prototypes that don't go to the twilight lands just by purchasing, annual pass trophy, this is just pushing players away from the game little by little, by the end of the year, there will be 2 more SP heroes, 10 more awakened heroes How do you follow this?
I dont think they will pivot as the income starts to wane, they'll just launch Star Zone 52 globally.

Awful implementation. I can understand wanting to pay wall the releases for 3 months but after that the acquisition should be significantly ramped up. As a daily player and low to mid spender I have koraxia 1 copy, 1 copy of artemis and 3 shard of new vanguard one with about 50 of the astral cards ready to use. Koraxia and artemis should be much more obtainable. Maybe from a new daily mini game or something like that.
And thats for a mid spender. It's silly

f2p my entire EE career. I have about 270 tickets saved for sp and have a single copy of kora... SP heroes are insane.

This game become a joke😂 I go back to Raid with Jgigs the real game.. atleast its the real game and having more fun playing then EE a micro game wannabe a Raid solution😂 nooo. Raid is still number one top dog gatcha game for a reason whatever anyone says... you should play Raid instead and doubble your TH-cam channel for real, even what people say, Raid is still better even playing with some rares is more fun in Raid then EE only can dream of... being a small spender is more fun in raid then EE Really.
The CC space is too in depth and saturated for me to jump into RAID now.

Tried it and while I liked it for awhile I did not find it ftp friendly and I hated that you could not sim multiple dungeon runs.
