I've got Sun Wukong on two accounts. I partially levelled them up with XP brews, then continued in campaign. I've used a support build on my level 55 main with bolster and perception sets. Even at level 34 (now 38), I've had some successes in live arena Silver 2. My newest alt (that I created during the second day of the Sun Wukong champion chase) has basically used an attack build with the starting lifesteal gear (he didn't get the perception gear like older accounts). I can't remember what the second set is -- probably cruel, since I don't have good accuracy gear on that account yet. Anyway, I got him up to level 50, so he is my main damage dealer (I was lucky to pull War Mother on Day 8), followed by Kael. Unfortunately, I can't get Sun Wukong on my older alts. What was my second newest alt accidentally got deleted when I updated Raid, so I reused her device to create my newest alt. My oldest alt is on a Chinese smartphone with a dead battery that I can't replace due to an import ban by the Trump administration. My other two alts can't update Raid because Plarium can't figure out how to properly update Raid (supposedly because they bought Raid from the original developers -- that explains why their updates are often buggy, not to mention that they don't do any playtesting). 🤓
A realistic video on WuKong? Getting tired of all the talking heads on TH-cam claiming he's META. Everyone needs masteries and now everyone can solo farm them for efficiency. Fantastic. Take my Like!
@@Atlasm2p Yeah he's good, no doubt. But you know what else kills Stoneskin UDKs? Bombs. WuKong is not META, he's too new and there's not enough data. Countering a single champ in Gold 5 does not make a champ META, it makes them useful.
He IS meta. You use him (and Georgid) to counter meta champs with meta stone skin. If we're talking arena.. Duchess, Lydia, Taras, Harima, Mortu etc. are all meta. Slap lots of accuracy in Wukong and you could strip their buffs, polymorph them, make Lydia's block revive useless and kill them if you hybrid built him to do dmg.
My wukong got 350 spd, 5k atk, 97 cr, 250 cd and 450 acc and i beat duchess/nekhret teams now with under 400 team power. I think i could beat 400+ teams if i change his atk % chest plate with acc
I did one good champ + 4 champs to do masteries for a while, but as I mainly use the free energy for it, it takes forever to get a champion done with masteries that way, so I switched to 1 champ at a time to finish masteries. Also a lot of times I use champions even before masteries as they already bring a lot of value without it, so a lot are already leveled from other usage.
Great video! I love how you break down the math on these videos and back your tests with absolute proof. Wukong is opening so much more of the game to my day 90 f2p account. Dont have the gear to make 30 second runs but i will definitely be using this strategy. Thank you for another fine video!

Last week we were having the Mino discussion in FB and I mentioned that I use Artak (55-110 sec) to farm mino… some people were all about 12-20 second teams and recommended me to build my Abbess and use her to clear waves and use boss killers at the end … I was curious about efficiency and YOU explained it to perfection! Thanks! So I decided to build my wukong for mino and then towards the end of this very video you mentioned Saltus and mine its quite slow but smacks! So i tried him and 29-33 secs runs as i am giving Wukong masteries! Now I do not know how to build Wukong anymore hahaha! Since i found my farmer…
As soon as I get any hero I plan on keeping, at level 1 of whatever they are, I put them in Minotaur. They stay until they have full masteries, then I will cycle them out for someone new. After that I will level them in a dungeon to get gear to keep or sell.
TY for this detailed breakdown on the maths! Since you asked, I mainly use Sun Wukong in arena, so I gave him super high accuracy, but he's slow. I use Leorius to farm Mino, takes about 30 secs/run.
yea i was doing 1 champion with 4 getting masteries but i was told it took to long, now i will say that i got wukong fully booked in about 24-48hrs ftp with him being the only one getting tombs, it takes me weeks ftp with 1 farmer 4 getting tombs.
Oh wow i just found your Channel this saved me so much. I was not confident in my gear enough so i never thought mine could do it because i don't want to swap gear because i play him in arena. Turns out mine is slightly faster with equal dmg so the mastery was enough to heal him. Thank you for you well explained video.
Damn, I'm a VETERAN at this game. Started playing in 2019 and never thought of this. Have so many legendaries i've not used because they aren't worth using 800 gems per mastery. This can help with champ training, roster building, etc. Great video.

Before i get time to look into it myself .. how does the exp gain plays out while getting masteries .. say rank 5 lvl 1 champ 0 masteryes, to get maxed scrolls how far does the levels go .. meybe comparison between 1, 2.. 3 champs u train/get scrolls for .. asking to see what would be the optimal highest level u could go into minotaur so u would not waste too much energy .. My Wukong is still naked .. not on my list for champs to train up atm ..
the speed aura does not make ANY difference in Minotaur as it is a ARENA Speed aura. or is there a kind of hidden mechanic that makes Mino count as Arena?

I guess my Wukong would be hybrid. I had instinct and divine offense gear with HP% chest plate. Accessories are ATT, crit dam and ACC. Also scored a 3 star blessing from a hydra soul stone yesterday to put intimidating presence on him.
I'm trying to go for damage, and I'm 2 weeks new to this game and already he's 17k power maxed out his masteries with 800 gems and his gear but having trouble on how to find a ring for him
I usually have all the scrolls that I need on champions so whenever I get a new champion I just run that champion with 1 farmer because I'll have to use only 2100 energy before I no longer have to use energy but if I use 4 champions it's 8400 energy which takes much more time than just quickly getting masteries for 1 champ and go and put them in teams but if I were using 4 runs it would just make the game boring
His speed aura is fear. and if you make him counter attack yes you'll run mino faster but he needs speed and perception if you're gonna use him in arena or hydra.
If you have no other options for Minotaur then I guess it's fine but he's too useful in arena as a cc, imho. Also, if the champ I'm building is a damage dealer then I get as many masteries at 5*, upgrade to 6* and use HH's Extractor to gear up and let them solo Brutal 3 to 60. 8 energy for 34K xp per run.
I dont need XP I just needed to farm scrolls faster, But no matter who I use still having issues one shooting and soloing this I think its cause my great hall is only at lvl 7 not 10. But I'll find a way eventually
Since you ask, Full support SWK here. Lucky enough to have Ragash and Staltus in SS. So DPS easily covered. The ability to basically just "Banish" a champ key to the team is just insane to me. Idk of any other champ that can do this. Strips sure. A non block-able "Banish" ... nope AND he can self revive with a global turn count if something goes awry. Yeah, atm I have him @ 280 speed @ 600 ACC. I could have more. However, i have a 360s 400 ACC Kimi I pair him with. ... So SWK lead, Kimi goes w that inc acc an speed to have a 950 ACC SWK = I remove who I don't want to deal with. Ofc, still going to loose to Krakens and thats fine. Sun Wukong was designed as an arena champion (the only place where his speed aura works), so if you're going to build a champion to solo minotaur, you should choose another champion (which champion? Do some research -- I've seen multiple videos with recommendations). 🤔

@@wink1017: According to popular content creators (Ash and/or Hell Hades, if not others), you wasted your books, as Sun Wukong doesn't need to be booked and legendary skill tomes are hard to get. 🤔
You can also do a 19 second run with gnut Lydia/Venus/draco and a third dps who can one shot the waves without debuffs. It’s a bit faster but that only leaves 2 spot instead of the 4 you’re showcasing. Time is more important to me anymore but nonetheless love the content brother!
Would be nice to know how i get any of my champs over 40k power... im currently sat with like 10 lvl60 champs between 19 and 46k power. Can i heck get anythin over that or even close to 80k onwards like i always see in these videos about end gamers trashing places like its turd on their shoe...
I use Skullcrown for farming masteries and food too but mine is in Savage/Cruel with 7k att and 280 CD and she got 5s crushing rand blessing so she is fast as hell
So book and put him in amazing gear for mino. To save some xp while getting masteries(compared to running 1-4 booked champs). Hmmm. Thousand of gems is a stretch as well for that do saved. Speed for me is whatever. Mastery farming is 1 click on rsl helper and then leave it.

It take to long to do masteries that way I do one champ at time. I can do full masteries in about 2 hours. If you put 4 champs needing books it would take days to finish
I use ithos for waves and gnut for boss and 1 champs im working on takes 30sec or so on final stage. I can do 3 champs fast 1 at time rather than putting all them at once
But what about the auto battle count. Those are not free. Are you telling me you and wait. Tapping 150 time at minimum 30 sec per each? That’s if you have equal gear. More likely each run will take 1.30 min to 2 min. He is not talking about it bc he is on pc? I guess?
The only problem I see with this is. Add this in with all the other daily things we need to do just to keep up and if becomes too much. It's just too much going in all the time
Im so glad I quit Raid. Looking back, the animation, graphics are so bad, the health bars, the energy consumation, the lame victory screen. Everything makes me wonder how I was ever hooked in this game for a few months

I use savage and perception just something I thew on him until I get computer to use optimiser and get much higher stats

I did 32 sec runs last night with RSL auto, that took 45 minutes to fill 1 champs masteries, for reference.

If time is no issue, just level 5 champions in minotaur, give them gear and they can do it... it takes longer but 100% of ep gain is used

I am running Macbook Pro. Where are you getting the 150 runs over night? I don't have many auto's especially after 3 star food

Your greathall has to be maxed out to get these stats right?
Georgid in his arena build I've discovered can carry it because of his AOE and extra turn

i mean you only really *need* a team of 4 that can clear mino 15, only one champion gets rewarded for it anyway so what's the need to solo it?
I just want to know though, how do you get to 4 mil silver? I haven't seen that you get silver per champ you use though. Correct me if I am wrong

Instinct. It’s a defense ignore set from forgepass
I built mine in Lethal/Perception with helmsmasher as my tier 6 mastery

But what about the auto battle count. Those are not free. Are you telling me you and wait. Tapping 150 time at minimum 30 sec per each? That’s if you have equal gear. More likely each run will take 1.30 min to 2 min. He is not talking about it bc he is on pc? I guess?
The only problem I see with this is. Add this in with all the other daily things we need to do just to keep up and if becomes too much. It's just too much going in all the time

Im so glad I quit Raid. Looking back, the animation, graphics are so bad, the health bars, the energy consumation, the lame victory screen. Everything makes me wonder how I was ever hooked in this game for a few months
