I will be looking at it today and that's a good idea if there are any... though I don't think runs will exist as it's very thin water-based stain. But if they do.. I will :)
Well thank you :) I'm as surprised as you, if I'm honest... and yeah.. I think one more coat. I need to keep in mind that, as it dries, it goes matt and shows slightly lighter than it will with oil
Good point and yes with many you do ( & some go on best with a sponge). But this is really wet and quite diluted . I tried staining a piece of wood with this stain using a cloth and it virtually wiped itself off again. So I went brush!
Try rubbing down with some fine wire wool to even out any splotches and runs

Well that looks better than i actually thought it would, i think you are right a little darker and then a good finish jobs a good en.

@@mattscountry363 it looks really nice I can't wait to see it when it's finished👍
I was having trouble with mold grown during drying. I added a good bit of rubbing alcohol and that seems to have stopped it.
Dan I hasn't even thought of that.. I will keep a very strict eye on that... though.. mold is green....... hmmmmm
@@mattscountry363 there is black mold as well.
I am slightly worried by the fact you have a band saw...
The gun saw was too long so I hacked it does a few feet ;) ... actually.... I use it to cut up Custard Creams.....
