Yeah not like just plonking a bucket on your head..maybe if I did it a few times before recording, I would have a bit of spacial and muscle memory, could have been a quicker video..cheers Graham 🍺🍺🍻
Lord SiFi, this helmet is epic! I have the last 2021 version, but I really want this one with the proper neck piece and red lens.. awesome purchase my friend.. I will give you advice on putting this thing on, keep the faceplate and the neck piece together, but loosen one side of the back neck clips, slide it as one piece on your face then clip the neck piece on the back, then after the complete face plate is on then drop the dome helmet on.. it's easier this way.. awesome piece SiFi 💯
Yeah it was a little tricky Vader had the help of machines to fit it on and Luke removed it..but I was prepared to do a second take if needed..cheers Marco🍺🍺🍻
Great Video Si! Unfortunately the Black Series helmet is not approvable out of the box without some modifications. The most glaring is the top of the helmet, there's an artifact of the injection molding process used to make these and it needs to be smooth. You also have to take into account a political portion of the 501st. The GMLs have a lot of authority and no real checks on them. When I tried to apply for membership, if you looked at the standards for a TK Stormtrooper, I should've been approved no problem, but the GML wanted me to make modifications to be at centurion level and would not approve me. It really killed my enthusiasm for joining the 501st. I put a lot of work into assembling my TK kit and was shot down without any sort of appeal. Later, I heard that guy was fired because of his shenanigans (he was body shaming people and other things unbecoming of the position) but by then I just didn't want to re-apply.
Wow for something that is meant to be a hobby and something that you love..that's bloody crazy..imagine if I told you, that's not the way to display your figures or certain customs are not allowed..that's extremely disheartening..talk about bullying..the young lady I talked to at work is prolly only 5"5..a little short for a Stormtrooper?..keep your armour and wear it proud..fuck what they say..cheers Matt 🍺🍺🍻
@@SIFIactual Don't get me wrong. There are a lot of great people in the 501st doing great things, there just happens to be a small group within the organization that can really take the fun out of it.
Very cool helm. Vader didn't dress himself, so yes, you need a second person. My buddy Drew Ridley is part of the 501s... you have met him. I am sure he can give you more information.
"Luke. I am your father"..whoops😢
Darth Si is in the house! Really cool Si,looks really cool on although maybe a bit tricky to put on by yourself.Thank you for sharing my friend.

Good advice...but I don't think I will wear it anymore unless asked...it's a great display helmet...and hopefully getting more..cheers Eric🍺🍺🍻
Hi mate, assemblying that helmet seems like a two man job, congrats on pulling it off alone😁 these black series masks look quite nice! Cheers Si!🍻👍😎

This helmet is not approvable in any way. The 501st requires a certain degree of accuracy for basic approval. This helmet has zero accuracy

Yeah they are very specific and inclusive I believe, I'm not going to participate..would just like to know what they thought. .cheers Ol🍺🍺🍻
Too cool 😎
Totally agree...but I won't be wearing it again in the near future..it's a great display piece though...cheers Greg🍺🍺🍻
When I put mine on it pinches my ears and pulls my beard. If I could remove the interior I think it would fit, but that's what's holding it together.
Yeah I haven't worn it since I made the video...it's a great display piece..I can live with that...cheers mate🍺🍺🍻
Cool! :)
Cheers Tim🍺🍺🍻
