    Am I a fast learner of I have varial flip, halfcab flip and all SMS vol 1 tricks down all in 3 months? I kno more those are just my main tricks... So is that considered learning fast or is it a normal learning pace?

      Just learn everything moving. It helps a surprising amount. You don't have to though. It just saves time and effort, but it can be scarier. Also, If you're having problems going forward, try the trick fakie.

    I'm still stuck on this trick!I got fakie and regular shuvs without pop all day but I can not pop shuv for shit. Every time the board either does the 180 but flip like a pressure flip except it lands upside down or I land with my front foot on the nose and end up shinning my other leg. This trick at least for me is not as simple as learn the shiv then add pop it seems so simple but so complicated but I'm going to keep trying.

    • @reyzorlramon
      @reyzorlramon 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't do anything with the front foot. Just lift it up

    • @KratosMayhem
      @KratosMayhem 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rey Perez Funny thing is the day I wrote this comment I went out for a session the same day and I got them more consistent but IMO they just look ugly.I can land them about 8 times out of 10 and they stay under me pretty well it only moves about half a board to 1 board in front of me and i land bolts its just low and ugly but I'm moving on to Front shuv.The problem with that trick is that its just a bitch to commit to since I got to jump backwards im getting the full rotation though and its not flipping or going primo.I have an 8 inch deck and the board goes about 1-2 boards behind me so 8-16 inches behind me I can catch it with my front foot but my back foot straight to the ground lml its hard to commit to.

  • @djbobfive
    @djbobfive 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    if you watch aaron's form vs. lance's, aaron's center of gravity goes through his shoulders through his butt and through his ankles. he doesn't have what surfers used to call "stink butt" aka "stink bug stance" which is not steezey at all. lance bends over not down, creating stink butt...shoulders over the knees . just an observation. you can really see it when lance is trying to do 180s.

  • @kwote
    @kwote 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I don't like the "steezy" scoop. Especially on tre flips. I don't know when or why that started, but I refuse to participate. I've heard it called stank leg. I think that's a more fitting description.

    • @FinalGrade
      @FinalGrade 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Steezy" just means clean. A steezy tre flip would be if you caught it in the air really high with the front foot and it looked clean. Someone might shout and say the it was "steezy".

    • @Primophobic
      @Primophobic 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steezy is like doing tricks effortlessly. When its done right, it looks effortless and clean. Some kids try too hard for it. Just do the tre flip and eventually itll come

    Help me out guys. I got in trouble by the school for bringing my skateboard onto the bus. They sent the board over to transportation and I walked 5 miles just to get it. They told me I had to have a parent or guardian to pick it up. So they called my dad and told him I walked all the way there. After they got off the phone he talked to me. He was super pissed and mad obviously. Now he is driving home from out of state to come deal with me. He told me that he was going to snap my skateboard and ban me from skating. I feel like killing myself this is so bad. Help me!

    wich abecs you have ?

    • @merlinzest
      @merlinzest 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      From my understanding, Abecs don't really matter at all for skateboarding. The different kinds are for diff applications. Remember bearings are used for 100x more things than skating.
      Bit of a myth surrounding em.

      get those ollies higher bro

    • @grazcarman5148
      @grazcarman5148 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't need to jump higher as much as you just need to bend your knees more and get them above the board.

  • @SuperBattlefieldGuy
    @SuperBattlefieldGuy 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    The trick to pop shov higher/bigger is to bend your knees more and to pop stronger down. You'll jump higher obiously, the board will go higher but won't spin faster. You'll have plenty of time to see it spin and land it.

    So I guess the definition of mastery is being able to do it 5 in a row? Seems rather lacking.

    • @MattMcConaha
      @MattMcConaha 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think he's using "mastery" in a sense that means "ability to do the trick." Like, if you can land it five times in a row, you're allowed to say that you can do the trick. If you land 1 kickflip, you're not allowed to say "Oh, yeah, I can do a kickflip." But if you can land 5 of them consecutively, then you're allowed to say that you can do it.
