What great memories! I heard them at Word of Life (Island, Inn) on Schroon Lake, New York, in the 1960's. I was in high school and our "gang" went around singing their songs after we had spent a week on the Island! Thank you. The message of their music is still unsurpassed even though the "sound" may seem out of date to younger generations. God's truth is timeless!
It gives me great joy in listening to this hymn which was my favourite one some 60 years ago. It brings back memories of my days when I believed wholeheartedly that Jesus was wounded for me. I do not regret having taken that step of faith.
I love all these old songs and used to play on the piano.....I just learned about the White Sisters this week when I looked up the song , "Trust God in the Dark" .

Faye was the only sister still with us. One had passed & one was living with Alzheimer’s. I haven’t spoke with Faye in a while. As far as I know she is still with us.
