Enjoyed this video, straight to the point without being too technical. What cables did you take on your travels? I tend to overpack so what would be the minimalist approach to cable management while traveling.
If you’re up for a couple things that might not be necessarily compact, but useful….I’ve gotten a launch pad pretty cheap for my drone. It folds down pretty nicely, but it gives me a good take off and landing spot. Usually I’m launching from a gravel parking lot or hot asphalt so I think that’s useful. I also fly with an old iPad Mini so I got an adapter for the drone controller so my iPad is still right over the joysticks. I also got a hard case for my drone for fairly cheap that holds it all. 3 batteries, chargers, SD cards, cords, that adapter, my launch pad even fits in it. Only extra thing I have to carry is my iPad.
Cool gear! I use the same camera, but different lens. The Sony 24-105 f4 G is my go to and slaps!! Very sharp through the full focal range of the lens and even at f4 gets great separation and beautiful colors. I use a Tiffen vND filter and a Moment backpack with their camera pouch for travel. It’s a simple setup, but I’ve done a lot with it. I need a drone! Great video!
@@awaytogether OMG, ok, that settles it, I have almost the same kit, gonna go with the Peak Design. Did you ever have trouble fitting the 20L under the seat on smaller airlines? (looking at you RyanAir)

About how much would you estimate the total cost of all your camera equipment? Thanks.
Not being nosy, am trying to make plans.
Informative. Thank you! Going to the Philippines in two weeks!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching. Have a great time! El Nido was our favorite in the Philippines.

I love that idea! Sometimes launching is a little tricky. Do you have a link???

Did all of that (including the DJI controller) fit in the 20L Peak Design bag?

Yes occasionally but not often! It usually fit

Do you check or carry on your camera bag?
Carry on, always!
