I think that this is a superb build and the modifications and the stowage add such a lot to the model. I am currently making this kit and will use some of your suggestions to improve my model, many thanks.

Thanks Steve. A lot of the mods were inspired by what I had seen from other model makers on TH-cam also. Glad you have some inspiration and good luck with your Cromwell build 👍

Thanks for the support. Glad you enjoyed the build. Have this ones big brother in my stash, the A34 Comet. I'll see if I can get started on that before the end of the year.

Great build. I am going to attempt this one next so it's given me some ideas. Its always a shame to use boxes etc and then cover them with tarps.Seems a waste. I Have seen people use bits of scrap foam cut into squares and the edges of the tarp used for the proper bits. I'm going to subscribe.

      Thanks Spencer.
Yes using cut foam blocks to form the shape of boxes covered by a tarp is a great idea. I've also seen this being done by the GamesWorkshop community for use in their role play games.
I'm sure you'll enjoy building the kit.
Glad you have sub'ed to follow my projects in future. 👍

Hi im planning on making a similar tarp to the one you made here. What kind of tissue did you use is it toilet paper or is it more like gift wrapping paper? Thanks

      Hi Finn, Thanks for watching.
I use a couple of methods for tarps. This one is made from using face tissue, the type you get in a box.
This one is a 3 ply and mostly has no pattern embossed on it. Its a type made from bamboo but its not required. I find it quite strong and nice texture to it.
The other way is using rolled out Green Stuff as in the Panther video.
Good luck with the build 😉

I use medical gauze for tarps and camouflage netting and acupuncture needles with the wind bases for antennas. I file the needle so it's dull.
