+MugenHeadNinja Well, the scene was quite heartbreaking. But this has little to do with my name (although I am starting to suspect that I will never hear the end of the trolling on the subject).
+Josh Stroven Technically, he DID replicate Excalibur in the Stay/Night arc when Shirou, Rin and Saber fought against Berserker in the Einzbern forest. One swing of Excalibur killed Berserker 7 times out of the 12 lives he had from his Noble Phantasm, Twelve Labours.
+vinnievinvin99 Caliburn is not the sword that brings the promised victory. I remembered there was one time that Saber lost the Excalibur.. but then retrieved it... during that time.. Caliburn (the decoration version of Excalibur) was used. Caliburn was not taken out from the stone, which explains everything. (Magic stone, btw) Shirou can replicate Excalibur. Is just that he havnt acquire the power to do so.. yet. Or you would see his Imagined Clone (EMIYA), using it instead of the Caladbolg II - The Fake Spiral Sword. But there is one weapon, sry not a weapon.. that Shirou cannot make. Ea, The Sword of Rupture , or I Should say the Key of Rupture. Every first time he uses it requires a key to activate the sword mode which consist of a complex mana circuits coming (as seen in UBW 2015). And when he look at it... the screen is blurry (like when a TV screen malfunctions). He cannot clone it but he can make one that looks like it, without the Enuma Elish power. Shirou can make Excalibur but cannot activate its full power. But in Fate/Ilya.... Excalibur was activated.
I keep coming back to watch this episode. Shows how awesome this episode is, you can feel the passion and love Ilya put his heart into forging that sword. That guy really has the knowledge and expertise to make Excalibur. His name is forever etched in the histories of Fate.
I can do that too. *Holds hands in front* See? It's just that you can't see it. Because if you see it then you'll know the length and how to counter it.
Datu Kula That's.... broken. Aside from Berserker, all Servants have one Noble Phatasm don't they? Specifically Saber having three is so op. Of course this doesn't count the Gate of Babylon and UBW which are only single Noble Phantasms that summon other NPs. Rito pls nerf Saber class
Datu Kula Gilgamesh has more than Gate of Babylon? Also, I always thought the swallow turn strike thing was Sasaki's NP. Shows how much I know about F/SN
Datu Kula Yeah, that's what I thought about Gilgamesh. I just thought Enuma Elish was part of the GoB. I see, thank you for taking your time to explain this all for me.
He said in one of his recent videos where he makes a weapon from Fate/Apocrypha that he’s not gonna make them ;-; But i’m not ensure if he meant that entirely.
Please someone help me request this! I've been leaving this comment on every video and it gets washed away under an ocean of less obscure weaponry. Take one look at it and you will see why I want to watch it be constructed.
***** I doubt that spiral would be easy to achieve. It would need to be made from two pieces of steel twisted together but uncoiling at one end to make a bident fork. (also ITS HUGE! even in terms of the human sized model)
Angel Palmar A Katana is a medieval sword technically (Since they existed before the XV century). You prefer medieval european swords XD (Just being a wise ass).
+hithummah Obviously yes but in the case of a certain someone who originally asked that question, "cough"Shirou"cough", You'll have to aim for the heart or brain to ensure that they truly die when they're killed by the sword.
+Mikhail Andalusia (Just call me Dae) Well otherwise it's perfectly functional, just that the guard is wayyyyy too thick and a bit too narrow. It just weighs a lot and doesn't really provide that much protection (the added thickness doesn't do anything). Knowing Skall I figure he would just cut the metal that went into the guard in half and stretch it out into a more thinner, wider guard. Beyond that and the handle being oddly thick, I think he'd be fine with it.
+Mikhail Andalusia (Just call me Dae) Skall would probably prefer Caliburn, though the only thing to be said about excalibur is the thick blade and the bulky brass handle. Beyond that though the thing looks fantastic
+Rachel Esselink It has so many moving parts and intricacies, it would be easier to do pretty much any other weapon from the series besides it. Although it would be cool to see, I doubt they would make it to a point most fans would be satisfied with it, they also like to swing around with them at the end of videos, so it's a little difficutl since it would likely be too heavy. That said, for a weapon to go in for build by them, I'd want Weiss' Multi-Action-Dust-Rapier: Myrtenaster.
I love the shear passion behind the build! Exactly how I would be if I could forge, and wanted to make my own fantasy blade! Keep up the good work, and never lose that passion Ilya!
I just love it. I dream of having this one. Afterall saber is my favorite anime character. And for those who doesn't watch anime, just appreciate their art, rather then being a dictionary.
The thing that earned a sub from me. Been a fan of King Arthur since I was a kid, and naturally ended up digging Fate when I first heard about it. Seeing the Sword of Promised Victory brought to life like this, step by step... it's magical, there's no other way to say it.
it would be amazing if they also did Sir Gawain's sword, Galatine, from the fate series along with this one as a matching set. Excalibur Galatine I feel would be more difficult to make though due to its design, but these guys know their stuff. I bet they could make the Reborn Sword of Victory, sure would love to see it.
9:40 The guy's face and the way he moves tells he has been anticipating to do this for the longest time, possibly more than anyone else featured in the video.
Well Excalibur and Ea are wildly different. And I really hope I get this right cause the nasuverse is convoluted and difficult as hell Excalibur is a crystallization of humanities hopes and dreams forged by the earth and given to Arturia. It is a Last Phantasm and one of the greatest of the god forged weapons. Ea however is the primordial weapon said to split the earth from the sky or at least to represent it Its a weapon that can return the world to the state of beginnings and nothingness. Excalibur could cut a mountain in half. Ea could crush the freaking planet. So yeah its a divine construct. But its transcended a divine construct to be even more.
Yes, they both are divine constructs as they are god-made armaments/ god-made weapons and are artifacts created by Divine Spirits and the planet that surpass human limits.
as awesome as ea is, at the end of the day it's no real sword and you can basically recreate it like one would make those multi segmented light sabers. it has the same shape and all, and I doubt they'd take the project up as it really isn't something that could cut something like a sword would. forging it is another complication as there are no weapons like ea that have practically been forged, so it'd be odd to make it from basically segmented pieces of steel that can rotate
He mentioned earlier in the comments that he was making his own separate one. I believe he was making the one from Fate/Prototype, but I could be wrong.
Aren't the engravings actually on Caliburn? I remember that Caliburn was meant to be "more decorated, fit for a king, but not as resistant or as durable as the more simple Excalibur would be"
+Nicolas Sauk I like that idea, However: As much as I like Archer's Kanshou and Bakuya; I also like Gilgamesh's Ea Archer's Daggers would win for the Archer Servant; But I would still be torn
I rolled at Saber banner aim for Mordred, but I got, Rama, only to have np2. Kore koso wa Waga chichi yo horobosu jaken Kurarentoooo. Burado Aaahsaaaah!
Huge Fate fan here. I honestly didn't think much about reforging Excalibur (while awesome, it's value is more in the narrative aspects rather than its design in an of itself), but I really like your idea of forging it out of reforged older weapons - it's a great attempt at capturing the history that gives it its weight. Keep up the great work!
This thing is absolutely beautiful; the amount of time, energy and effort put in just getting the steel is astounding. For future builds, I'd like to see Mugen's sword from Samurai Champloo with the sheath and sheath-knife. If not those, I'm weighing in for Conan's Sword (his father's or the atlantean sword) or Voltron's Blazing Sword.
+Juan Masi In terms of something that would actually be mechanically possible, I'd say it would either have to be the Saw Cleaver/Saw Spear, or the Blades of Mercy. Kirkhammer and Memeblade are too huge and complicated in terms of sheathing.

+vinnievinvin99 No, that was Caliburn, as it's decoration is more elaborate than Excalibur's.
Gahh...the whole Caliburn/Excalibur thing is as confusing as the Nasuverse Saber clones/variants :|
(Magic stone, btw)
Shirou can replicate Excalibur.
*Holds hands in front*
See? It's just that you can't see it. Because if you see it then you'll know the length and how to counter it.
Datu Kula Her noble phantasm isn't invisible air. Her noble phantasm is Excalibur. But yes, I have invisible air.
She has two swords Caliburn and Excalibur
Archer's Kanshou and Bakuya please please please.
Liezard Valeth I’d love to see that.
Agreed
He said in one of his recent videos where he makes a weapon from Fate/Apocrypha that he’s not gonna make them ;-; But i’m not ensure if he meant that entirely.
Excalibur is done, so do Mordred's Clarent next!!
Milen Anessar yes thank you 🙏 😊
would it be cool if it was Archer Emiya dual blades
Or lancer lance Gal dur
Milen Anessar archer dual blades would be better
This channel is Unlimited blade works
9:51 now that's true king-like hair
Please make Archers twin blades from Fate/Stay Night
You mean kanshou and bakuya?
Frankiestein Finally... Someone who knows the names as well....
Make archers twin blades
ACExSPADE yass
And his spear arrow thing
*Caladbolg II
@@Eule153 you know what, just make all of Archers unlimited weapons.
Billy Debiase holy Jesus, it’s going to be endless aahahahha
I really like the fact that they tried to make their own steel and stuff, and mentioned the problems they had and how they worked around them. :)
The Level And Caliber You Went Into Forging That Blade Ilya, WOW!!!
Definitely Did Your Homework!!!!
Infinity blade please
Yaaaaaasssss infinity blade please
+Marvel2328 Infinity Blade from were? There are soooo much of them...
+Floriab Dumser either the original infinity blade, or the new one from infinity blade 3
+Floriab Dumser from League of Legends
please make the infinity blade pls pls
Lance of Longinus from Evangelion please!
Please someone help me request this! I've been leaving this comment on every video and it gets washed away under an ocean of less obscure weaponry. Take one look at it and you will see why I want to watch it be constructed.
+Desert Foxchild i would also like to see this and i think itd be a simpler and cool build
***** I doubt that spiral would be easy to achieve. It would need to be made from two pieces of steel twisted together but uncoiling at one end to make a bident fork.
(also ITS HUGE! even in terms of the human sized model)
+Desert Foxchild haha, I just wrote my own Spear of Longinus comment :P
Andreas Sjöberg Then thanks for banding together to make that a reality.
Saber? I think you mean Baeber
Muad'dib2288 lol
Sasaki Kojirō
How do you feel about saber after she defeated you?
How do I feel about Baeber after she defeated me? Sad and proud of her sword skills
GIVE ME BAEBER!!!!!!!
Ba dum bum tsshhh
This is probably the most epic sword you ever made
+Angel Palmar I'd consider the Katana they made the most epic, this one would be #2 XD
+TheSLK66 yes it was quite epic but im more of a fan of medieval swords
Angel Palmar A Katana is a medieval sword technically (Since they existed before the XV century). You prefer medieval european swords XD (Just being a wise ass).
+TheSLK66 yeah sorry european sword*
+TheSLK66 Medieval is part of European history. It's like saying the cavalry saber is a typical Edo period sword.
Archer's Caladbolg 2 or Kansho and Bakuya; those would be some awesome pieces of art.
+manamaster6 I think a ton of the weapons in the series lend themselves to some awesome art pieces.
Garrett Carpenter Just imagine Gaebolg or Ea.
Maybe Fate/Zero Berserker's sword, Arondight.
+Garrett Carpenter All the Gilgamesh and reality marble of Unlimited Blade Works weapons :D Good luck with that.
+manamaster6 yup kansho and bayuka, :3
Yeah. Please do Kanshou and Bakuya. Please. Please. Please. Please
You guys should seriously do a short film about Ilya's origin story.
this one is actually amazing, i love that this guy is actually a fate fan so he really pours his heart into the little details of it
Next up, Archer's Kanshou & Bakuya.
+҉_ |Cεεpεr_Kιng_2|_ ҉ Well he did say "as well as the rest of the Fate Stay Night's" or something along the lines of that.
+҉_ |Cεεpεr_Kιng_2|_ ҉ Please, please, please, please, please I want to see this.
+҉_ |Cεεpεr_Kιng_2|_ ҉ I agree do Archer's Kanshou and Bakuya
+Blackwingsupersonic YES YES YES! That or Fate/zero's Bereserkers Arondight

Greatsword of Artorias. It's not going to stop...
+Theordinarystrangers
"Every time untill you like it"
It's like you read my mind
Considering I've posted that on every video now xD
Knight Artorias Yea man, sorry for killing you 5 times. I only did it because I had to.
+Theordinarystrangers Ludwigs holyblade from bloodborne
+Theordinarystrangers Artorias' or anything else from Dark Souls really.
but will people die if they were killed by this sword?
you just answered your own question :)
+Jean Rushmer someone didn't get the joke
DarkSlayer2381 I'm sure he did get the joke.
Only fate fans will get the reference
+hithummah Obviously yes but in the case of a certain someone who originally asked that question, "cough"Shirou"cough", You'll have to aim for the heart or brain to ensure that they truly die when they're killed by the sword.
The exact moment she wielded her Noble Phantasm was one of the most epic moments in the entire franchise. Thank you for forging the King's Sword.
Mugen's sword from Samurai Champloo. Complete with sheath and sheath knife.
+Duke Manivong yes!!! I want to see that
+Duke Manivong Wouldn't mind seeing that.
yes, please.
dammit, I posted that before I scrolled down and seen yours lol
+Duke Manivong it would be cool if they made his sandals too as a bonus.
I wonder what Skall would think of this. It's a perfectly functional, and beautiful, weapon. I'd like to see a review on it.
Anyhow, great work you guys, keep it up! It's great seeing pieces of art like this, I hope I can do things like this myself one day. ^-^
This is why I rely on you people, because I know next to nothing about these things.
+Mikhail Andalusia (Just call me Dae) Skall would probably prefer Caliburn, though the only thing to be said about excalibur is the thick blade and the bulky brass handle. Beyond that though the thing looks fantastic
+Murzac just a pleb observation too, the blade seems rather broad.
RWBY Ruby's cresent rose would be awesome!
+Rachel Esselink Yes!!! OR maybe Weiss' blade or even Blake's weapon would be really nice.
Any of the original 4 would be amazing
Rachel Esselink Any weapon from RWBY would be amazing to be honest.... ;-; I really wanna see and buy them now.
ArynosValinir true. it'd still be dope as shit to see tho
Imagine forging this great sword just to see it thrown at the lake because of the wielder's problematic child.
Too late who cares, but Excalibur in Fate is forged for the use of the protection of the planet itself and is only lent to Saber.
*Actually, the worse thing was the scabbard thrown because of the owner's incestuous crazy bicth of a sister.*
I love the shear passion behind the build! Exactly how I would be if I could forge, and wanted to make my own fantasy blade! Keep up the good work, and never lose that passion Ilya!
Do Archer Twin Blades (Fate/Stay Night)
+josh mckay Kanshou and Bakuya, the married swords.
+josh mckay Those blades look amazing... especially when there are those glowing hexagon patterns on them.
And Gae Bolg
Ilya is a freaking god of metalworking. I can't even bend a paperclip into a straight line...
I just love it. I dream of having this one. Afterall saber is my favorite anime character. And for those who doesn't watch anime, just appreciate their art, rather then being a dictionary.
Wouldn't Arturia be technically categorized as a hentai/porn character?
@@GBlockbreaker nop, even if fare started as an Eroge, there's a striking ammount of mangas, novels, animes and even movies based on the fateverse.
Artorias' Greatsword from Dark Souls pls? :D
+Disgruntled Goat All 3 versions? :D
+Disgruntled Goat I would love to see the Zweihander
Oh hell yes DO THIS

++AWE me
THIS IS NOT AWE ME.
THIS IS AN IMPOSTER
++AWE me YOU R A LAYR
The thing that earned a sub from me. Been a fan of King Arthur since I was a kid, and naturally ended up digging Fate when I first heard about it. Seeing the Sword of Promised Victory brought to life like this, step by step... it's magical, there's no other way to say it.
Please do the Levin Sword!!
Yes, but we must have the sword of seals as well. Levin first tho.
The ragnell would be nice to see too.
it would be amazing if they also did Sir Gawain's sword, Galatine, from the fate series along with this one as a matching set. Excalibur Galatine I feel would be more difficult to make though due to its design, but these guys know their stuff. I bet they could make the Reborn Sword of Victory, sure would love to see it.
Love that Ilya is a fan of a series that has his name in it. Even if it's the name of a little girl xD.
+MasterRichard Finally someone else who mentioned it too
+MasterRichard BERSERK! Ilya is a badass little girl!
It's not really a little girl. She's older than Shirou
Ilya is a commonly used name in russia for... you guessed it - boys.
+MasterRichard
The spelling is a bit different, but I thought it was cool regardless. HIs name is spelled Ilya, while her name is spelled Illya.

The guy's face and the way he moves tells he has been anticipating to do this for the longest time, possibly more than anyone else featured in the video.
please do kanshou and baukuya(fate series)

Archer blades, yesss

Ea from Fate Stay night
ohohohoho this guy
Wait, Excalibur is a divine construct as well.
Well Excalibur and Ea are wildly different.
And I really hope I get this right cause the nasuverse is convoluted and difficult as hell
Excalibur is a crystallization of humanities hopes and dreams forged by the earth and given to Arturia.
I wonder if Ilya got to keep Excalibur.
Coramelimane I think he did.
Son of The lost ones She*
Demon Giraffe oh ok.
I think he meant blacksmith, not Einzbern homunculi.
He mentioned earlier in the comments that he was making his own separate one. I believe he was making the one from Fate/Prototype, but I could be wrong.
The only thing they missed were the fairy engravings along the blade, very nicely done guys!
Aren't the engravings actually on Caliburn? I remember that Caliburn was meant to be "more decorated, fit for a king, but not as resistant or as durable as the more simple Excalibur would be"
I ship you with astolfo
Kanshou & Bakuya!! Let's keep up with Fate and make 7 (six more) Noble Phantasm, one for each Servant :D
+Nicolas Sauk I llike That Idea XD
👍 agree
+Nicolas Sauk I like that idea, However:
As much as I like Archer's Kanshou and Bakuya; I also like Gilgamesh's Ea
Archer's Daggers would win for the Archer Servant; But I would still be torn
+Nicolas Sauk Keep it up! make sure to make Archers dual blade. then Gae Bolg :3
+Nicolas Sauk Gilgamesh's Ea please ?????
Modred sword from Fate apocrypha plz

Pretty sure Enuma Elish is a name of the attack Ea does.
The passion of Ilya put into every detail of this sword is what made this video truly amazing
Worth a watch just for the end. That hair.
Yay.. more anime stuff..
+Jack Prime Ikr? Isnt it awesome? :D
+Jack Prime Glad you liked it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+Jack Prime Right?! This build was awesome.
Yes! And an actually good anime no less!!

Say, is that a threaded pommel? Are you able to end people rightly with this one?
+Lelouch Vi Britannia
ayy, skall memes
YTaccNo3 hell yeah
+Lelouch Vi Britannia Only if thrown
Evan Erickson you want to throw the entire sword?
Who needs pommels when you have geass?
+Charles Scholle Mugen yes! Mugen is infinite love.
Heavy sword from Destiny: Taken King

+TheCoolAWESOMEMartin then get my comment popular and i bet they'll make it

Please make the Greatsword of Artorias from Dark Souls 1, with a pattern forged blade and etching it whould look so incredibly awesome!
+Abyssiner jesus i just wrote the comment and if you scroll down its everywhere they have to do it man its outta control
Nick A Yeah, i reaaly really hope they will finally build this wonderful sword, i wanted it for so long.
Abyssiner
just annoys me man i mean dark souls is big i mean its hard and i mean come on this is like a no brainer
+Abyssiner i want
fabricio arruda So much want. And the Dragonslayer Ornstein's Helmet whould also be very nice.
Make a trick weapon from Bloodborne. Kirkhammer or Ludwig's Holy Sword would be awesome.
Blades of mercy would also be great.
I would want the cane that turns into a whip. That would be awesome :)
+Juan Masi I'd be down for the Whirligig Saw
+Juan Masi In terms of something that would actually be mechanically possible, I'd say it would either have to be the Saw Cleaver/Saw Spear, or the Blades of Mercy. Kirkhammer and Memeblade are too huge and complicated in terms of sheathing.
+Juan Masi If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.
So, in the spirit of that saying I'd say Amygdalan Arm would be friggin sweet
Since you did Artoria's Excalibur and Jeanne's Luminosite Eternelle, I want to see Nero's sword, Aestus Estus.
OMG that would rule
