I should probably do this instead of telling the cluster to only expect 1 node every single time I need to reboot both my r720 and r710. Also first comment! Boo yah!
That's exactly what made me 'need' a quorum node - I rebooted my main PVE server but was working on the NAS one - the VMs that normally auto-start hung and wouldn't boot until node 2 came online. That could be worse than NOT having a cluster IMO... the Pi 4 seems to work just fine at being the quorum node and sips little electricity - if ya got a problem, yo I'll solve it - check out the hook while the DJ revolves it!
@techheart6090 It's funny because I have the name Pi, and I was thinking what I should use it for, and then your video popped into my feed. Problem solved!
Excellent instructions. The most thorough Qdevice install on Pi that I have run across. Thank you - Uncle Bob
Thank you kindly - the quorum node has served me well, but its about to get decommissioned by a Dell r730xd! Yay!!!! Thanks...
