What FNAF Help Wanted Hides in the FNAF 2 Area

- Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 1 is a VR game that recreates a lot of the iconic earlier FNAF titles. But how does this game work behind the scenes and off camera in each of these areas? Let's join Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy and take a look at the FNAF 2 mini game and the intro of the game prior to Help Wanted 2 releasing!

The Cupcake in the office lockers turns away from the camera because it's meant to always face the player, but stops moving when being watched. It seems like the movement of your camera around the environment without the player being included somehow breaks whatever it determines its direction, and through some chance it's considered unobserved. The same is true of the version in Chica's Parts & Service level, where her eyes also follow her, meaning if you move some stuff around it's likely you'll see her eyes facing behind her at some point. This is also likely why Withered Chica's eyes start rolled back in her jumpscare - the eyes are almost certainly meant to follow you, as otherwise even slight movements would make it seem canned and detached. You just can't observe the effect on Withered Bonnie because, well...

What’s interesting is that the way the animations are done, the characters aren’t actually warping, they’re just playing the animation which has the base position at a certain location.
At 5:13 I'm not 100% sure on this but I'm pretty sure the toy Freddy underneath the map is the toy Freddy enter animation waiting to be triggered. Since toy Freddy is one of the few animatronics that actually has an animation for entering the players office while the other animatronics simply warp into place. So this is likely what that toy Freddy under the map is for!

This video kind of reminds me of when fnaf first came out and people were making “accurate” replicas in GMOD and there always be hidden details, like golden Freddy in the kitchen.
The mask will only teleport that far in flat mode, as you have to manually move it to your face to attach it in VR.
I’m a FNaF fan, and I’m loving these new HW out of bounds vids, keep up the good work!
FNAF 2 uses a queuing system for animatronics both moving and being in your office, Toy Freddy being stored under the map is simply him waiting his turn in a more physical state.

Doubt it, it’s far more likely to be a toy animatronic, as those ones got discontinued after FNaF 2, and the withereds were kept and made into the FNaF 1 animatronics

I have an explanation for this even tho I’m 4 months late the kids weren’t stuffed inside the toys but the withereds after the second location was made the toys are just intelligent ai who thought we were afton even tho we don’t actually know if that’s true but yeah

I love the new detail with the Freddy mask because in fnaf 2 we never actually saw what the mask looked like but just assumed it was a spare Freddy “head” which it what it looks like in game. But phone guy says it’s a “mask” so I love how they made it one of the toy masks like you’d wear at a party or Halloween.

10:30, this is clearly visible in game too and it makes me wonder why they didn't move Withered Freddy to the other side of the entrance

Yet in the original FNAF 2 it was entirely possible for multiple animatronics to attack at the same time, so chances are this was done to try and balance the game for the VR experience.

No, that's actually because, when an animatronic tries to attack and you put on the mask, the freddys in the hallway sometimes disappear
Oh... That's how the Parts and Service room is positioned? Huh. Me and everyone I know, we all assumed that it was how every 3D recreation of FNaF 2 did it: with the extended wall on the other side, not right next to the door. But I mean, it does make a lot more sense.
Also, Chica has a severed leg?? What?? As far as I know she doesn't have that... the only time I've seen a one-legged Chica was in the Final Nights series... Burnt Chica, more specifically. It's also odd that Foxy is stored outside the back room, to then only appear once you flash the lights at him for the first time. It is cute to see that the Toys have their arms locked on each other, even if they're clipping. It's like they're really good friends!
The toys wish to see the wizard and the witherd....well they just had a lil to much booze

I love that you use audio and music from NITW. I love that game sm that when I heard one of the songs I immediately recognized it from NITW
I adore how goofy the Toys walk because they basically got flippers as feet.
2:14 That's part of the lore, long story short: Chica killed phone guy in night 4 FNAF 1. And for 5:27, It follows a similar system the original did, since FNAF 2 was based off sprites, there was an animatronic queue system where its basically one animatronic at a time. Help Wanted followed this same formula.

its an interesting detail that withered chica has blood in her mouth but the other withered animatronics or even mangle don't, could this be steel wool subtly telling us the answer to the old question "who caused the bite of 87"

I have to wonder why the map is constructed the way it is
I mean, it's not like the party rooms and vents don't fit with the main map. The vent section is just the same corner of the vent that is like 5 feet away, and the party rooms are all in one connected block that also contains the hallway
Like. . . why did they get put in a separate part of the map?
Keeping them in separate areas allows for a wider range of movement without risking the player see something they should not be able to. Also, constructing the entire map as accurate as possible would use up too much resources just for stuff the player wouldn't normally see, which is inefficient.
Withered Chica being the only fnaf 2 animatronic with what appears to be blood in her mouth leads me to think that she was the one behind the bite of 87. Anyone else thinking the same?

So glad you did fnaf 2 in VR. I'm surprised you found that withered chica endoskelton has blood on cause I knew about that like months ago and other people too, thanks for showing it's close up look and another thing I didn't know the withered animatronics didn't move until night 6.
With the general size of Chica’s head and how wide her mouth is open paired with the blood on her ending teeth and biting animation of her jumpscare, there’s a case to be made that she was the animatronic behind the bite of 87’ (I do still think it was Mangle though)

im not sure if anyone has called this out but the parts and service room is flipped around in the original fnaf 2 game the door was under the camera but in help wanted the door is behind the wall you can see it clearly at 1:39

Could that blood looking stuff also be oil or scraped/ scratched up paint with chica being a damaged and withered animatronic robot?
It’s a lighting error from the Freddy files. The render used for reference when making Withered Chica’s model has a red tint on the jaw from the lighting, which the people making the textures assumed to be blood.

These videos are helpful for trying to make certain features in my game

So after 1 robot attack then after 1sec or 1.5 sec the next one will load in to attack

Random fact: Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle use recolored versions of the FNaF 1 animatronics' eye texture. Weirder still, only Balloon Boy uses the proper Toy eye texture from FNaF 2. Even weirder, the toy Cupcake uses a recolored Sister Location eye texture
