when i try the feature he's already outside the pokeball and he's in the middle of the screen with no way to move him and no shadows at all

I've met him in person when he went to NYC, theres a full video of it on here as well, the megaphone in the photo has his autobiograph on it.
So I was really excited about this update, but now when I go to the camera app, I only get a static Pokémon over the AR background, no footprints to choose from or 3D walk-around. Any idea why this is? It's not like I'm using an old phone.
Do you have iOS? iOS is having issues at the moment, the feature works really great on galaxy 7s,8 and 9 from what I see, they're patching up for ios very soon at the moment.

Word is that it's being updated for iOS, try and see if theres an update.

I have an old smartphone (Samsung Galaxy J5 2016) and i can't go around my pokemon, what i need to do?
I would delete the game but make sure you have your Google account linked to your game so you don't lose progress, this might have a chance of working with the full update, pokemon go at the moment is having some major glitch issues including the smeargle glitch which prevents him from appearing.

When you open the game go into the pokeball menu and you'll see a options on the top right above events that says settings, go into that and turn on ar+
Why mine is different
Go into settings and turn on ar+ if that doesn't work your phone might not be compatible or up to date.
It is very hard to hear you.
Maybe a little at some points, the bgm was at its lowest and it was 2am I didn't want to wake anyone.
