DO NOT bother fighting the giant mech near the artist in Cailid! He has a unique spell and a ton of HP and drops literally nothing. NOT worth your time.

My first playthrought took me 170 hours 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
(Now doing the platinum on ng+, missing elden ending and frenzie ending. But for these im.just running through everything instead of doing every cave, every quest, every everything)
I'm on my 3rd new character. I haven't even tried ng+ because I just love the whole leveling experience so much that when I finish the game I just start a new one

I’ve totally been tempted to just go ahead and beat it but im loving exploring and know there sooo much still to do this first playthrough (about 120 hours now) that I can’t commit to beating it yet. But I really want a new character too and start fresh. I’ll eventually do a character just for pvp. And im going to keep this one and do ng + for each ending. Did glintstone mage first. Next going the prophet route then I’ll be brave enough to do a melee based build. Maybe lol.
@@evitanigaminU Haha totally relatable! Got 3 chars now aswell. As you stated below, perhaps for your next run you should give a hybrid Build a shot aswell. Havent played anything smoother than Dragon/Bleed Build (60 Arc at 150). Was super fun with Moghwyns Spear / Bloody Helice & Jellyfish Shield (and Dragon Communion Seal ofc). For big dmg just pull out Borealis & Rotten, literally melting bosses

4:30 there is actually a easier way to get down that area. If you jump from the spirit spring there and aim for the drop down spot you can actually bypass the cliff and drop straight down(may require a double jump), and since you take no fall damage from spirit spring jumps you can fall all the way down safely. Aim carefully!

fun fact if you co-op with a friend who is doing nokstella for the first time and they kill the giant rolling boulders that drop larval the summon can also pick up that larval tear so thats how you can get more of em also

Only boss gave me any trouble so far was the Dranconic tree sentinel..and I got em in like 25 tries..lol

Fall damage is percentage based, so there's not point in healing between falls unless something is actually attacking you during the fall process.
The percentage is based on your max hp, not current hp. If you're under 50% hp you are at risk if dying .

You can just barely jump from the horse tornado thing into the hole and skip the whole parkour session without taking damage
Took me a few tries to nail it, it's just barely in range

You can use cotton even while on torrent to mitigate fall damage. Hope this helps.
The great hood also is one of the highest holy defense helmets in the game.

In 1:37 did you say that you can break the statue? I have tried to use that giant to break it but it wont do it, i dont know why. He has hit that multiple times there is nothing that can break it. Is there anything good?
Giant is supposed to break for you, I think these statues just have stuff like smithing stones though. You can also cheese by quitting the game standing on top of statue then loading back in.

I have tried multiple times and that giant who is next to the statue when i Come there, tries to hit me then i dodge and he hit that statue but it still doesnt break. It hits many times accurately to it but somehow it doesnt break and it makes me crazy

@RageGamingVideos: I noticed when i used the reduvia dagger against Margit the ill omen, it makes almost no damage (like 1-5 dmg, but still procs bleed). I was at lv 25 and it was +2.
was this a bug (repeatedly happend) or is it suppost to happen because it's a weapon from the cultists of blood?

It’s possible you didn’t meet all the stat requirements for the weapon? That’s all I can think of
@@joshmay2944 i used the dagger from the beginning (as soon you could get it) and had even higher stats than required. Also the rest of the tine it worked just fine

If you are talking about the armor at 5:53 its part of Carian Royal Knight.
You can get the full set at Raia Lucaria Academy near/behind a pilar at the cemetery. Watchout the "zumbies" there. There is a big one and 3 of the normal ones.

Im dojng platinum run and decided to do it when i was finished my first playthrought after 170 hours lol. Pretty much had everything but had to start ng+ to get elden ending and will start ng++ for frenzi ending.
Theres also technically 6 possible endings (3 variants of the same) and each one should've been a trophy.
Getting every single talisman, should've been a trophy.
Lot of things they could've put has a trophy.
Especially getting every great rune. How is that not even a trophy.

Rain of Arrows is, by far, the best Ashes of War for bows. It totally shreds everything in the game.

@@sneaky5141 except that it's not a prank. During my entire NG+ playthrough, i mostly just used my Albinauric Bow with the Rain of Arrows ash of war. It deals 500 - 1000 DMG for each WA, and that's just using normal arrows. If you use more powerful arrows like the Stormhawk Arrows, it deals even more DMG. What's more is that it only uses 1 arrow to deal massive DMG. You also no longer need to use multiple Rot Arrows to inflict rot on bosses or great enemies. Just use Rain of Arrows with Rot Arrows once or twice and you'll inflict rot on bosses and great enemies in no time.

The strongest helmet in the game is that Scarab helmet. You gotta love that -armor. Only -armor in the entire game. Imagine a full play through with just that as armor. Literally No Hit %

Dude my game crashed n I lost hours of progress. So I’m doing this again and the game says I don’t have the first painting. So I go to grab it and it says I already have it. The game literally just bugged all my stuff and I basically have to do everything over again. Makes me not want to play the game honestly
Edit: I started a new game a while ago and went to go do the first painting again, and it still won’t work. I’m assuming you have to do this before you burn the tree. So I’ll try it in ng+2

As someone who doesn't really enjoy the pvp respeccing isn't the most useful to me so Larval Tears are meh and honestly the rest of these rewards seem... well pretty terrible. I mean maybe the bow ash of war isn't bad but the rest seem like jokes for the most part >.>
You've never found a weapon/spell/incantation and realized you'd been putting your levels in the wrong stats?
@@TheAntiSanta most times I think "hm maybe I'll try that on NG+ or another character" But I have always kond of strictly stuck to a build once I have it in mind. I wish Inhad heard the idea to start this game with a Wretch before I started playing. But yeah no I rarely respec, first time I did was on faith cause they secret nerfed the dragon breaths and I decided to try the int/ faith stuff... and it... isn't much better...

Interestingly enough, I found the majority of the artists before getting the paintings. Especially the last one, I'm 100% sure I found it before getting the painting. It seems to me that you don't have to possess the painting to get the objects.
Last I checked you did have to find the painting before the artist even appeared, unless they patched that to b different maybe...
They dont appear if you dont have the painting. (Well, didn't for me)
How do you break the statue?
There's a giant up the long staircase on the left. Get him to follow u down to statue and bait out one of his attacks to break the statue.
