Forgot to drop my comment yesterday 😅 nice explore I really liked the small church and the lovely bright red plants they were great. So many stalls looks like a place I would buy lots haha
I'm the one waving to you from the cruise ship!! lol Just seeing that nice warm sun is making me envious! Looks well worth a visit for sure! Bruce and Otis
Great vlog style video, you do great content! (just found you at Yasmins channel) I subscribed to you, so "I'll be back". Warm greetings from Hong Kong via Denmark... Thomas
Puerto Del Rosario looks lovely! I loved the little church, the harbor, and he lovely poinsettias. The food looked great too! I must visit here someday. Have a great weekend! 😊👍
The Canary Islands are worth a visit, the landscape is interesting being volcanic and the coastlines are always spectacular. I prefer Lanzarote and Fuerteventura to Tenerife and Gran Canaria as they seem less commercial. That said I'm sure there are fantastic parts to those islands waiting to be discovered. Have a great weekend.
Hi Mr and Mrs Out&AboutwithAndy 👋 this was great, lovely area and fabulous little eateries with very yummy looking food! Gorgeous sea front and views! QR codes and apps needed for everything now hence why we had to invest in a smart phone before our jollies! Hard to get around without one these days! Superb video have a great weekend guys 👍❤️
Thanks for watching Nick and Jill. That restaurant if fantastic, we were impressed so much last time in 2022, we had to go back. Yes QR codes are great but only if you have data/wifi - that caught us out a few times in the past. Thankfully my mobile provider now gives you 4G access abroad, it wasn't always the case.
We enjoyed the tour of Puerto Del Rosario, Andy. Looks like a lovely city and well worth a visit! Gorgeous sea views. We enjoyed seeing the port. Thanks for the tour!
Dave and Kathy, thanks for joining the premiere. We love these islands, pretty much guaranteed good weather, we're back there in March, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but at a part of the island we've never been to before.
Thanks for watching LB. It's such a shame travel is expensive, the whole world is there for us to explore and only a short lifetime to do it in. Yes those prawns are some size, my wife really enjoyed that meal. Have a great weekend now you have power!
Hi Andy, a lovely walk around Puerto Del Rosario. Loved the idea of a library outside. ha ha , nice little church and the sea front is lovely, nice sea views. Little restaurant looked good , take care , have a gr4eat weekend x Julie and Tony x
Thanks for watching Julie & Tony. The church is pretty cool looking and there is always something new to spot in the city whether it is a mural or sculpture. The restaurant is a great reason to return to Puerto de Rosario, we found it by chance on our first visit but it didn't disappoint the second time round. Have a great weekend too!
It is a great restaurant, Steve. I've been on the wagon for a while now and become a bit of a connoisseur of alcohol free beers now, there are some great ones, and then there is Becks Blue :) This one was really nice, you'd struggle to tell. Cheers for watching.
Puerto Del Rosario looks beautiful and well kept. The street market was great. Great they put the big fish skeleton by the harbor. Funny to see NYC~. Awesome tour. Cheers👍
Thanks for watching, I was surprised to see NYC on the side of a building, too. Canarian cities and resorts generally are well kept, very little litter. Thanks again for visiting 😊
Hi Andy Thanks for sharing Lots of great info and tips Those prawns looked amazing 😋 It looks a beautiful place to walk round Hope you're having a good week Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕 ❤
Cheers for watching folks 👍 The prawns whilst not being something I'd have do look spectacular, and I have it on good authority, tasted as good as they looked too.
We loved the town. Especially the harbour. Nice to find that little place that's out the way to go eat. Wish we had found it when we went! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for watching Anna and Steve. We were impressed the first time we visited back in 2022 with both the town and the restaurant, the latter was definitely a brilliant discovery. PS congratulations on reaching 1k subs.
The desert landscape outside of the towns was a bit of a surprise to me, looks like the American southwest (Arizona/New Mexico). Must not get a lot of rainfall there which is probably the attraction for UK tourists. I really like all of the markets they seem to have over there (wonder how the prices are) . It also seems fairly easy to get from place to place with the bus service. And of course the weather always seems to be bright blue skies and sun! Another great look around Andrew! Hope you are well, have a great weekend!
Yeah, the landscape is very dry, about 4-5 days of rain annually. The islands were volcanic once over, I should really hire a car and explore the island interior as it has some interesting landscapes. The island in US terms is tiny. You would probably be able to drive from north to south in 6 hours maximum.
Thanks for watching and commenting Emma. I wish I lived in Caleta, currently at home in the UK and it's cold! Going to Rosario is a great day trip and the bus is really handy and cheap too, I'm not sure why more tourists don't make the trip.
Thanks for watching John, this was back in December. We tried a different resort in March. I think we've still got a few resorts we've not been to though 😀
I have been to Puerto Del Rosario when I went to Futeventura in September this year Puerto Del Rosario is very far from Corralejo but they have beautiful street art.
@chantelleroberts9024 Thanks for watching Chantelle. Certainly, it is a good bus ride from Corralejo, but not too bad if you are staying somewhere like Caleta de Fuste. We found it a very different atmosphere to the holiday resorts and they have some great restaurants if you prefer local cuisine.
Hi Andy As always, tips and essential info are appreciated. I thought of being this island in Morocco, but within Spain??? Mural and sculptures flatter my eyes. What to do with goats ???Did you actually research the local events with vendors forehand visiting here? I like supporting local businesses whenever I visit places. It seems a nice and cozy town...feeling of safety.. hahaha of course, fill up your tummy with food. Gorgeous drink sand dishes. Seafood is my favorites. You mention about those trees. Looks like a big bonsai. Very unique Hmmm..1 day trip? Is that enough time to explore? Well done. Haha It was not Puerto Rico I visited a few weeks ago, but Spanish heritage is quite coincident. Come and see me in Puerto Rico... the warm moderate weather is a great escape.
Thanks for watching, the canary islands are off the coast of Morocco but are a Spanish territory. They were conquered in the 14th century and were considered very important for trade during the sailing ship era as a route between Spain and the Americas. Goats are the traditional farm animals in Fuerteventura, inland it is very dry and volcanic, I suspect goats are the only animals that can endure such living conditions. We weren't aware it was market day in the city on the day we visited, so it was a nice addition to the visit. Thanks again for watching.

Quite an eye-opener: no-one does street art like the Spanish, and the desert areas outside of town were quite barren. Very interesting stuff.
Thanks for watching Keith. It was a great day out. Some of the barren land near the airport is a military zone.
That was nice, Andy, Sorry I couldn't chat during the premiere.
Thanks for joining the premiere, glad you liked my mini tour of Puerto del Rosario.

@@OutandaboutwithAndy No worries 👍 Thanks again 😎
Wonderfully done. Such a beautiful place 👍❤
Thanks Dave, it's easy to make a video when there is so much to see. Thanks for watching.
Wonderful tour Andy! I always love seeing places I would probably never get to see! Those prawns were massive too!
