I so love this place , going back in July , I honestly could retire here it just ticks every box for us
Do it one day life is too short
Easier said than done with the new brexit regulations ...😢
it's so easy to do, and you wouldn't regret it.
@@stevewelsh8560 brexit made it much much harder
i go every year love it
nice place
Just seeing this video. We went almost 10 years ago and we're heading there this autumn. Can't wait to see the changes!
Very different
Love this place, will be back here in 2 weeks 👍
Welcome back!
Going for the first time in October on my own!
have a great time
Hi. Can I ask how your solo trip here went? I’m asking as I am going here on my own in January.
last time i went was 2015! Can’t wait to see how much it has changed!
oh wow its changed a lot
Big changes since we were last there in 2019. Thanks for the video.
So different Im due over again soon
This is an old video. Many changes! For the good.
Yes old one
Love this review of Corralejo, always a joy to watch your reviews. There is a lack of vlogs on the hotel Secrets Bahia Real Resort and Spa in Corralejo, I’d love to see you do one, Oh go on treat Mrs. Travelon World to a night in the hotel and do a review - please 🙏 pretty please 😊
Another in the way I'll get there
@@MrTravelONWorld Thank you 😊 I will wait patiently, but also look forward to seeing it. 👍
Going back in july for thd first time in about 9 years and i can see the main street has certainty changed - hoping thats the only change we find lol ps great video 😎
Thanks Mark have fun mate
Still got the same feel. We're back in August love the place
Heading over to Corralejo on the ferry from PB tomorrow. Looks lovely and planning on going to Acua Waterpark 😎👍🏻🏖️
great park
@@MrTravelONWorldWe walked from the Anvil to the Lighthouse today and then went to aqualava waterpark but was a bit disappointed with that park as hardly any slides and the food & drink choices were naff. Acua looks much better and the ferry prices are good value 😎👍🏻
@@apukdcfc yes its a small park better for smaller kids tbh
@@MrTravelONWorld Yeah we just fancied a go on the slides and the lazy river was actually nice and warm. Top tip, 2pm till 5pm only costs €16
@@apukdcfc great nice one
We have been trying to find an alternative to PDC where we’ve stayed the last 8/9 years, we booked a week Corralejo and seeing this video shows it’s the right choice, thanks!
Great hope you enjoy it
We are exactly the same we also have booked Corralejo instead of the usual PDC.
I have been going there every year since 1995 and decided last year it was my last. Since Covid lots of my favourite restaurants and cafes have closed or been vandalised. As an example Mirador de Morro Velosa closed about 3 years ago, best Mountain View in Fuerteventura, not only has it been vandalised there is graffiti everywhere. The road up to it has been barricaded off, so one of the best tourist attractions gone. The cafe at light house near El Cotillo also closed, and lots of beach restaurants also closed. I afraid Fuerteventura has gone backwards in my opinion and not faired well these past few years.
Restaurant Bahia La Pared was family run, had a fabulous swimming pool built into the lava rock, this was sold three years ago, the new owner emptied the pool and cordoned it off. The atmosphere was calming and views out to Tenerife watching the sunset glorious. Now it is a cocktail bar with food, loud music, just awful
I am sorry to say Fuerteventura had better days before Covid, not for me anymore.
I thought it had changed for the better
Watch Scotsman’s vid of this in real time motion so you won’t feel so dizzy! That aside I’m seriously thinking of going to Corralejo, looks like it has changed so much since i was last there. Need a hotel on the beach in walking distance of the town, any ideas please?
Scotsman has some amazing videos top bloke
Vivvo hotel
That footage must have been shot a good while back mate!
Theres been building work being carried out and the area fenced off by the pier for easily well over a year at least!
Nice footage though all the same 👍🏻
yeah last year mate must do an update
Going here 15th March 🤗
amazing have fun
We're going there in late march next year... what was the weather like when you went in march?
many thanks, Julian
You missed music square!
ill head back soon mate
I thought that too where is the Music Square
Going there in December 23 for a week before Christmas. What's it like thete then? Is everything still open?
yes all open
We're thinking of visiting in July for the 1st time, is it suitable for young families? Hoping to avoid stags and hens etc. Cheers
Yes no hens here
Thinking of booking a week there in February, looking at the Playa Park Zensation is it any good or is there somewhere better to stay?
Ive heard its really good
@@MrTravelONWorld Still undecided between that and Lanzarote?
Went in 2016 lot better resort looking good 👍
Great place
How long does it take on ferry Dave from pdc please
There isnt a ferry direct but there is a bus pick up to Playa Blanca 45 mins on bus 30 mins on ferry
Is corralejo like playa blanca?
A little yes
What’s the music at 5:35 please?
No idea ha ha
Hey speedy gonzalas a great video but you could of did that in 3 videos and did real time motion and you had better potential for dineros but thank you as always 👍👍👍
ha ha I didnt talk on it Pat so just filmed it
@@MrTravelONWorld not like you to rest your tongue 😄😄😄😄
@@patrickmoran4171 ha ha thats true
Great video... Heading to coralejo on the 14th Jan for a week... Can you recommend any restaurants in Old Town?
Please pronounce it in Spanish, L is pronounced like a y in Spanish! Brits 🙄
Just watched another video from the Nomad Brothers suggesting that the town is overrun with drug dealers and assorted undesirables. Is the town truely safe to wander at night?
oh no that's not good of them to say thay
It’s really safe at night compared to most places. Been there twice this year and never saw any trouble at night.
@@CalisthenicsWork Good to know. Probably more worried about pickpockets actually. Mallorca quite bad for that at times.
Cant say I rated it tbh. The old town was wonderful, but the main street was a typical tourist trap designed to rip people off.
Yes
the old area is far better
yes
I feel its lost a bit if its charm tbh
I prefer it
